IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse
cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance

6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter,
or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner,
or in a heated oven.
12. To disconnect, press either the LEFT or RIGHT
or the
LEFT or RIGHT CANCEL button. Then unplug the cord.
13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
14. Oversize foods, metal foil packages, or utensils must
not be inserted in a Toaster as they may involve a risk
of re or electric shock.
15. A re may occur if Toasters are covered or touching
ammable material, including curtains, draperies,
walls, and the like, when in operation.
16. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
17. Do not attempt to dislodge food when the Toaster

toasting, and safety instructions is not qualied to
operate this appliance. All users of this appliance
must read and understand this instruction manual before
operating or cleaning this appliance.
2. If this appliance falls or accidentally becomes
immersed in water, unplug it from the wall outlet
immediately. Do not reach into the water!
3. When using this appliance, provide adequate air space
above and on all sides for air circulation. Do not
operate this appliance while it is touching or near
curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels or other

6. The cord to this appliance should only be plugged
directly into a 120V AC electrical wall outlet.
7. Do not use this appliance in an unstable position.
8. Use the Toaster on a hard, at surface. Do not place
it near a ame or heat or on a soft surface (such
as carpet). Avoid placing it where it may tip over
during use. Dropping the Toaster could cause it to
malfunction.
NOTE: This Toaster is equipped with Anti-Jam feature.
If any toast or toaster food gets jammed, the Toaster
will shut OFF automatically.
WARNING: ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD. Never attempt
to dislodge food inside the Toaster while the Toaster
is plugged in. Doing so could cause an electrical shock
hazard or a risk of re.
CAUTION: This appliance is hot during operation and
retains heat for some time after turning off. Always use
oven mitts when handling hot materials and allow metal
parts to cool before cleaning. Do not place anything on top
of the Toaster while it is operating or while it is hot.

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way.

NOTES ON THE CORD
a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply
cord) is to be provided to reduce risks resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords
are available and may be used if care is exercised in
their use.
c) If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension
cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the detachable
power-supply cord or extension cord should be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance;
2) If the appliance is of the grounded type, the
extension cord should be a grounding- type 3-wire
cord; and
3) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will
not drape over the counter top or table top where
it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
PLASTICIZER WARNING
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the
nish of the counter top or table top or other furniture,
place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the

Touch-Activated Dual Display Control Panel
A screen that only shows up when you need it.
• When the Toaster is plugged in, a tone will sound, both the LEFT and
RIGHT control panels will illuminate for 1 second, then turn off.
button will pulse slowly on and off.
• When
button is pressed, a tone will sound, and the control panel will
illuminate and remain active for 20 seconds.
• The LEFT and RIGHT pair of toasting slots may be programmed
independently.
• Press the
button to STOP any operation, to raise either the LEFT or
RIGHT toasting carriage and to turn the Toaster OFF.

IMPORTANT! Prevent gluten contamination. When using this 4-Slice Toaster for
persons who require a gluten free diet, dedicate either the LEFT or RIGHT pair
of toaster slots to gluten free toast.
• Often denser in structure, gluten free breads and toaster foods require
longer cooking times.
• Set either the LEFT or RIGHT or both browning indicators to the desired
toast color.
• The GLUTEN FREE setting automatically alters toasting time to give the
same degree of browning achieved with other gluten breads.
• Slice bagels or English mufns in half; place one half in each toasting
slot with the cut sides facing the center of either the LEFT or RIGHT
pair of toasting slots.
• Use the BAGEL setting to ensure perfectly toasted Bagels and English
mufns without burning the outsides.
• Set either the LEFT or RIGHT browning indicator to the desired toast
color.
• The FROZEN setting automatically alters toasting time to give the same
degree of browning achieved with fresh or unfrozen bread/toaster food.

• Press either the LEFT or RIGHT (CANCEL) at any time to interrupt the
toasting cycle, to raise either the LEFT or RIGHT toasting carriages
and to turn the Toaster OFF.
• The LEFT or RIGHT + and - buttons control browning level, from 1 ( )
LIGHT to 7 ( ) DARK. While toasting, the browning level indicator
bars will pulse and count down to a single bar before the toasting lever
rises and the Toaster turns OFF.
• Press either the LEFT or RIGHT + to increase browning from 1 (
) LIGHT
to 7 ( ) DARK.
• Press either the LEFT or RIGHT– to reduce browning from 7 (
) DARK
to 1 ( ) LIGHT.
NOTE: Unless changed, the last chosen LEFT or RIGHT browning level will
remain active for the next batch.
Before Using for the First Time
1. Remove all packaging materials including those that may be inside the
toasting slots.
2. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive
cleaners.
3. Do not place the Toaster, cord or plug in water.
4. Make sure the crumb tray is locked into position at the back of the
Toaster.(Figure 1)
5. Unwrap the power cord from cord storage area
on underside of the Toaster and plug into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
Following the OPERATION instructions, run 2 cycles of toast without
bread before the rst use.
NOTE: Toaster may emit a thin smoke on the initial use. This is normal
and not detrimental to the performance of the Toaster.

Operation
1. Make sure both crumb trays are locked into position at the back of the
Toaster. (Figure 1)
2. Check to be sure no bread or other objects are inside the toasting
slots. Place the Toaster on a at, level, heat resistant surface.
3. Remove all protective wrappings from food before placing into the
toasting slot(s).
IMPORTANT: Avoid toasting torn bread slices or small pieces of toaster
food that may get lodged in toasting slot(s).
4. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Both the LEFT
and RIGHT control panels will illuminate for 1 second, then turn off.

Toast, Gluten Free, Bagel, Frozen
NOTE: Use either toasting slot when toasting only 1 piece of bread
or toaster food. Always use slices or foods that t freely into
toasting slots.
1. Add bread, bagels, English mufns, gluten free bread/toaster foods,
frozen bread, bagels, English mufns, or gluten free bread/toaster foods
to the toasting slots. (Figure 2). Press the pulsing
button.
2. Adjust either LEFT or RIGHT or both of the browning levels from 4 (
)
MEDIUM by pressing + or - (Figure 3).
3. Press either LEFT or RIGHT functions: GLUTEN FREE, BAGEL or FROZEN
(Figure 4). A tone will sound. The
button, CANCEL buttons, and any
FUNCTION buttons will illuminate when active. All other buttons vanish
when not in use.
4. Lower either LEFT or RIGHT or both of the toasting levers to
begin toasting (Figure 5).
5. While toasting, the chosen LEFT or RIGHT or both browning level
lighted bars will pulse and count down to a single light as the
cycle progresses.
NOTE: The LEFT or RIGHT or both browning level indicators will act as a
progressive timer to show you how much time remains until the toasting
cycle will be completed.
6. To toast frozen bagels and gluten-free bread:
• Press the BAGEL or GLUTEN FREE button rst. The BAGEL or GLUTEN FREE
buttons will remain illuminated and the FROZEN button will begin
to ash.
• Press the FROZEN button. The BAGEL or GLUTEN FREE and FROZEN buttons
will be illuminated.
• Adjust the browning level as needed.
• Lower the LEFT or RIGHT toasting lever to begin toasting.
7. At the end of the toasting cycle, 2 audible tones will sound; and either
LEFT or RIGHT or both toasting carriages will rise automatically.
8. Remove bread or toaster food from the toasting slot(s). Use care as the
top of the Toaster will still be hot.
CAUTION: Never use a fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast,

NOTE: After 20 seconds of inactivity, the control panel will darken. The
button will pulse slowly on and off as the Toaster advances to sleep
mode.
9. Unplug the Toaster from the wall outlet when not in use and
before cleaning.

Removing Lodged Foods
NOTE: This Toaster is equipped with Anti-Jam feature. If any toast or toaster
food gets jammed, the Toaster will shut OFF automatically.
1. If a piece of bread or any other toaster food becomes lodged in either
of the toasting slots, unplug the Toaster and allow it to cool.
2. Turn the Toaster upside down and shake the food loose.
CAUTION: To avoid injury or damage to the heating element, NEVER use
a fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast or toaster food.
Beautiful 4-Slice Toasting For Gluten Free Diets
• Your 4-Slice Toaster is a simply perfect addition to any kitchen serving
both gluten and gluten free meals.
• IMPORTANT! Prevent gluten contamination. When using this 4-Slice Toaster
for persons who require a gluten free diet, dedicate either the LEFT or
RIGHT pair of toaster slots to gluten free toast.
Beautiful Toasting Tips
• Remove all protective wrappings from food before placing into the
toasting slot(s).
• For best results, clean the crumb trays frequently. See “Care & Cleaning
Instructions” in this instruction manual.
• Do not block top openings. Do not place any object over any top opening.
• Do not add butter to breads, pita, bagels or English mufns. Melted
butter may cause re.
• When toasting more than one slice of bread, in either the LEFT or RIGHT
pair of toasting slots, use slices of similar size, thickness
and freshness.
• Stale bread, thin bread or sweet bread products, such as tea cakes
and fruit loaf, brown quickly and should be lightly toasted.

User Maintenance Instructions
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable
parts. Any servicing requiring disassembly other than cleaning must
be performed by a qualied appliance repair technician.
Care & Cleaning Instructions
CAUTION: Do not immerse the Toaster, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
CAUTION: Be sure the Toaster is unplugged before cleaning.
1. CRUMB TRAYS: (Figure 1) Push to release either LEFT or RIGHT or both of
the crumb trays from the back of the Toaster. Wipe the crumb trays with
a clean, damp cloth. Replace both crumb tray(s). Push rmly until an
audible click is heard as the crumb tray is fully inserted and locked
into place in the bottom of the Toaster.
2. EXTERIOR: Wipe the Toaster’s stainless steel exterior with a clean,
damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners. Do not put cord, or plug in water
or liquid.
Storing Instructions
1. Unplug unit, allow to cool. Clean before storing.
2. Store Toaster in its box in a clean, dry place.
3. Never store Toaster while it is hot or still plugged in.
4. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance, use the cord storage area
on the bottom of the Toaster.
5. Be sure both crumb trays are pushed all the way into the back of the
Toaster. (Figure 1)
6. Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit, as it could
cause the cord to fray and break.

NOTAS SOBRE EL ENCHUFE
Este electrodoméstico tiene un enchufe polarizado (una
pata es más ancha que la otra). Para reducir el riesgo
de descargas eléctricas, este enchufe encaja de una sola
manera en un tomacorriente polarizado. Si el enchufe no

c) Si se utiliza un cable de alimentación desconectable
más largo o un prolongador, tenga en cuenta
lo siguiente:
1) La capacidad eléctrica nominal del cable
de alimentación desconectable o prolongador
debe ser al menos igual a la capacidad eléctrica del

• Ajuste el indicador de tostado IZQUIERDO o DERECHO al color
de tostado deseado.
• El ajuste FROZEN altera automáticamente el tiempo de tostado para dar
el mismo grado de dorado que se logra con pan fresco o sin congelar/
alimento para preparar en tostadora.
• Presione el botón (CANCEL) IZQUIERDO o DERECHO en cualquier momento para
interrumpir el ciclo de tostado, subir las rejillas de tostado IZQUIERDA
o DERECHA y apagar la tostadora.
• Los botones + y - IZQUIERDO o DERECHO controlan el nivel de tostado,
desde 1 ( ) CLARO a 7 ( ) OSCURO. Mientras se tuestan, las

4. Asegurarse de que la bandeja para migas esté jada en su lugar en la

Funcionamiento
1. Asegurarse de que la bandeja para migas esté jada en su lugar
en la parte posterior del tostador.
2. Revisar que no haya pan ni otros objetos dentro de las ranuras
de tostado. Colocar el tostador sobre una supercie plana,
nivelada y resistente al calor.
3. Retirar todos los envoltorios de protección de los alimentos antes de
colocarlos en las ranuras de tostado.
IMPORTANTE: Evitar tostar rebanadas de pan rotas o trozos pequeños
de alimentos para tostar que podrían quedar atascados en las ranuras
de tostado.
4. Enchufar el cable de alimentación a un tomacorriente eléctrico
de 120 V CA. Se oirá un tono, el panel de control se iluminará durante
1 segundo y luego se apagará.

Sin gluten, tostadas, bagel, alimentos congelados
NOTA: Usar cualquiera de las ranuras de tostado al tostar solo 1 trozo
de pan o de alimento para tostar. Siempre usar rebanadas o alimentos
que quepan con facilidad en las ranuras de tostado.
1. Agregue pan, bagels, mufns ingleses, alimentos para preparar en
tostadora/pan sin gluten, pan congelado, bagels congelados, mufns
ingleses congelados o alimentos para preparar en tostadora/pan sin gluten
en las ranuras para tostar. (Figura 2). Presione el botón
.
2. Ajuste ya sea el nivel de dorado IZQUIERDO o DERECHO o ambos niveles
de dorado desde 4 (
) MEDIO presionando + o - (Figura 3).
3. Presione las funciones a la IZQUIERDA o la DERECHA: SIN GLUTEN, BAGEL
o CONGELADO (Figura 4). Sonará un tono. Los botones
y CANCELAR
IZQUIERDO o DERECHO o ambos, y cualquier botón de FUNCIÓN se iluminarán
cuando estén activos. Todos los demás botones desaparecen cuando no
están en uso.
4. Baje la palanca IZQUIERDA o DERECHA o ambas palancas de tostado para
comenzar a tostar (Figura 5).
5. Mientras se realiza el tostado, las barras iluminadas del nivel de
tostado de la IZQUIERDA o la DERECHA o de ambos lados parpadearán
y harán una cuenta regresiva hasta una sola luz a medida que avanza
el ciclo.
NOTA: Los indicadores de nivel de tostado IZQUIERDO, DERECHO o ambos
actuarán como un temporizador progresivo para mostrarle cuánto tiempo
queda hasta que se complete el ciclo de tostado.
6. Para tostar bagels congelados y pan sin gluten:
• Primero presione el botón BAGEL o GLUTEN FREE. Los botones BAGEL
o GLUTEN FREE permanecerán iluminados y el botón FROZEN comenzará
a parpadear.
• Presione el botón FROZEN. Se iluminarán los botones BAGEL o GLUTEN FREE
y FROZEN.
• Ajuste el nivel de dorado según sea necesario.
• Baje la palanca de tostado IZQUIERDA o DERECHA para comenzar a tostar.
7. Al nal del ciclo de tostado, sonarán 2 tonos audibles y las tostadas se
elevarán automáticamente ya sea en la rejilla IZQUIERDA o DERECHA o en
ambas rejillas.

8. Retirar el pan o los alimentos para tostar de las ranuras de tostado.

ATENCIÓN: Nunca usar un tenedor ni un utensilio de borde alado para

9. Desenchufar el tostador del tomacorriente cuando no se utilice y antes

1. Si un trozo de pan o de otros alimentos para tostar se atasca en
cualquiera de las ranuras de tostado, desenchufar el tostador y dejar
que se enfríe.
2. Dar vuelta el tostador y agitar para aojar los alimentos.
ATENCIÓN: Para evitar lesiones o daños a los elementos de calentamiento,
NUNCA usar un tenedor ni un utensilio de borde alado para retirar
tostadas o alimentos tostados.

Consejos para usar la tostadora Beautiful
• Retirar todos los envoltorios de protección de los alimentos antes
de colocarlos en las ranuras de tostado.
• Para obtener resultados óptimos, limpiar la bandeja para migas en forma
frecuente. Ver las "Instrucciones de cuidado y limpieza" en este manual
de instrucciones.
• No bloquear las aberturas de la parte superior. No colocar ningún objeto
sobre ninguna de las aberturas superiores.
• No agregar mantequilla a los panes, panes pita, panecillos o bollos
ingleses. La mantequilla derretida puede causar incendios.
• Cuando tueste más de una rebanada de pan, en el par de ranuras de
tostado a la IZQUIERDA o la DERECHA, use rebanadas de tamaño, grosor
y frescura similares.
• El pan duro, el pan de poco espesor o los productos panicados dulces,
tales como los pasteles para la hora del té y los panes de fruta,
se doran más rápido, de modo que deben tostarse ligeramente.

Instrucciones de mantenimiento para el usuario
Este electrodoméstico necesita poco mantenimiento. No contiene piezas que el
usuario pueda reparar. Cualquier tipo de mantenimiento, aparte de la limpieza,
que requiera desarmar el aparato, debe ser realizado por un técnico calicado
que repare electrodomésticos.
Instrucciones de cuidado y limpieza
ATENCIÓN: No sumergir el tostador, el cable, ni el enchufe en agua ni en ningún
otro líquido.
ATENCIÓN: Asegurarse de que el tostador esté desenchufado antes de limpiarlo.
1. CRUMB TRAYS: (Figura 1) Presione para soltar la bandeja IZQUIERDA
o DERECHA o ambas bandejas para migas de la parte posterior de la
tostadora. Limpie las bandejas para migas con un paño limpio y húmedo.
Vuelva a colocar ambas bandejas para migas. Empuje rmemente hasta que
se escuche un clic audible indicando que la bandeja para migas está
completamente insertada y bloqueada en su lugar en la parte inferior
de la tostadora.
2. EXTERIOR: Limpiar el exterior del tostador, de acero inoxidable,
con un paño limpio y húmedo.
No utilizar limpiadores abrasivos. No sumergir el cable ni el enchufe
en agua ni líquidos.
Instrucciones de almacenamiento
1. Desenchufar la unidad y dejar enfriar. Limpiar antes de guardar.
2. Guardar el tostador en su caja, en un lugar limpio y seco.
3. Nunca guardar el tostador enchufado ni mientras esté caliente.
4. Nunca enrollar el cable con rmeza alrededor del electrodoméstico,
usar el área de almacenamiento para el cable ubicada en la parte
inferior del tostador. (Figura 2)
5. Asegúrese de que ambas bandejas para migas estén insertadas por completo
hacia dentro en la parte posterior de la tostadora. (Figura 1)
6. No aplicar tensión en el cable en la parte que ingresa en la unidad,
ya que podría pelarse y romperse.
