FAN HEATER
IMPORTANT
During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odour and some smoke,
This is normal and will quickly disappear. It is the coating applied to the heating elements to
prevent rusting during transit.
Before Plugging the unit into the mains, ensure by visual inspection that the unit is intact and
has not suffered any damage during transit.
CAUTION The appliance must be always placed on a flat and stable
surface.

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously
supervised.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off
the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended
normal operating position and they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in,
regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
• CAUTION - Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause
burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable
people are present.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the
thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off by the utility.
• WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
• The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower
or a swimming pool.

“I” Low heat output
“II” Full heat output
THERMOSTAT:
Turn clockwise to increase the heat output.
To use the machine for heating:
● Turn the control dial to “I” for low heat and “II” for full heat.
● Set the level of heat by turning the thermostat dial gradually clockwise for the lowest heat
and fully clockwise for maximum.

● The thermostat will turn the machine off when the selected room heating is achieved, and
when the temperature drops it will turn on again automatically.
For maximum heat output use “II” with the thermostat turned fully clockwise
REGULATING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached the required temperature turn the right thermostat knob (where included) in
an anti-clockwise direction up to the point where the appliance switches off and not beyond. The
temperature fixed in this way will be automatically regulated and kept at a constant level by the
thermostat.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning always remove the plug from the electrical socket.
Clean the air inlet I outlet grilles frequently.
Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
CAUTION
Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given
where children and vulnerable people are present.
INSTALLATION
The appliance requires no installation; it should be used solely as a portable appliance. Mains operated
portable appliances are not suitable for use in a bathroom.
OVER HEATING PROTECTION
The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in case of accidental overheating
(eg. Obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all). To reset, disconnect the
plug from the power for a few minutes, remove the cause of overheating then plug the appliance in again.
PRE-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Carefully remove your heater from the box (please save the carton for off-season storage).
Make sure the unit is in the OFF position before plugging the heater into the outlet.
Place heater on a firm level surface.
OPERATION
- Turn the thermostat knob in a clockwise direction until it reaches the maximum setting.
- Heating at reduced power: turn the switch knob to setting I (750W).
- Heating at full power: turn the switch knob to setting II (1500W).
- Switching off: turn the switch knob to setting O.
