BeforeFirstUse
Theappliancemayemitalittlesmokeandacharacteristicsmellwhenyouturnitonforthefirsttime.Thisis
normalandwillsoonstop.Makesuretheappliancehassufficientventilation.
1.Unpackyourapplianceandcheckwhetherallpartsandaccessoriesarecompleteandfreeofdamage.
2.Cleanallthepartsaccordingtothe"CleaningandMaintenance"section.
3.Setthebreadmakeronbakemodeandbakeemptyforabout10minutes.Thenletitcooldownandcleanall
thedetachedpartsagain.
4.Dryallpartsthoroughlyandassemblethem,theapplianceisreadyforuse.

Operation
Tostartaprogram,presstheSTART/STOPbuttononce.Ashortbeepwillbeheardwhiletheindicatorwilllight
upandthetwodotsinthetimedisplaybegintoflashastheprogramstarts.Allotherbuttonsaredeactivated
onceaprogramhasbegun.
Topausetheprogram,presstheSTART/STOPbuttonfor0.5seconds,ifnothingelseispressedwithin3minutes,
theprogramwillcontinuetillthesetprogramcompleted.
Tostoptheprogram,presstheSTART/STOPbuttonforapprox3secondsuntilabeepisheardwhichmeansthat
theprogramhasbeenswitchedoff.

TheMENUbuttonisusedtosetdifferentprograms.Eachtimeitispressed(accompaniedbyashortbeep)the

Program1:Basic bread
Forwhiteandmixedbreads,itmainlyconsistsofwheatflourorryeflour.Thebreadhasacompactconsistency.
YoucanadjustthebreadcolorbyCOLOURSettingbutton.
Program2:French bread
Forlightbreadsmadefromfineflour.Frenchbreadrequiresspecialtimingandtemperaturestoachievethat
wonderfulcrispy,nicelybrownedcrust.Thisisnotsuitableforbakingrecipesrequiringbutter,margarineormilk.
Program3:Wholewheat
Wholewheatbreadisayeastbreadthatismadewithasignificantportionofwholewheatflour(50%ormore),
ratherthanwithallwhitebreadflour.
Breadsmadefromwholewheatflouraremorenutritiousbecausetheflourismilledfromtheentirewheat
berry(includingthebranandthegerm).
Usingwholewheatflourproducesabreadthatisbrowntodarkbrownincolour(whenallwholewheatflour
isused),andthebreadsaremoreflavorfulandhealthfulthanbreadsmadewithrefinedwhiteflours(even
though"lost"nutrientsareaddedbackintowhiteflours).
Program4:Sweet bread
TheSweetBreadssettingsareforbakingbreadswithhighamountsofsugar,fatsandproteins,allofwhichtend
toincreasebrowning.Duetoalongerphaseofrisingthebreadwillbelightandairy.

Whenusingriceflourinsteadofwheatflourthekneadedmixtureismorelikeacakebatterthananormalbread
dough.Oncekneadedthebreadisallowedtorise,thenbakedtoproduceacrustthatisthinnerandsofterthan
thatofanormalwheatflourloaf.
Program6:GlutenFree
Theingredientstocreategluten-freebreadsareunique.Whiletheyare“ yeastbreads,"thedoughisgenerally
wetterandmorelikeabatter.Itisalsoimportantnottoover-mixorover-kneadgluten-freedough.Thereisonly
onerise,andduetothehighmoisturecontent,bakingtimeisincreased.Mix-insmustbeaddedatthevery

1.Placethebreadpaninposition,andthenturnitclockwiseuntiltheyclickincorrectposition.Fixthekneading
bladeontothedriveshaft.Itisrecommendedtofillholewithheat-resistingmargarinepriortoplacethe
kneadingbladetoavoidthedoughstickingthekneadingblade,alsothiswouldmakethekneadingbladebe
removedfrombreadeasily.

ofpanwithdampclothes.Donotuseanysharporabrasiveagentsfortheconsiderationofprotectingthe
non-stickcoating.Thepanmustbedriedcompletelybeforeinstalling.
Note:Insertthebreadpanandpressdownuntilitisfixedincorrectposition.Ifitcannotbeinserted,
adjustthepanlightlytomakeitbeonthecorrectpositionthenturnitinclockwise.
2.Kneadingblade:Ifthekneadingbladeisdifficulttoremovefromthecloth,usethehook.Boththebreadpan
andkneadingbladearedishwashingsafecomponents.Wipethebladecarefullywithacottondampclothfor
cleaning.
3.Housing:gentlywipetheoutersurfaceofhousingwithadampcloth.Donotuseanyabrasivecleanerfor
cleaning,asthiswoulddegradethehighpolishofthesurface.Neverimmersethehousingintowaterforcleaning.

thanthecommonflour,itcanbeusedformakingbreadwithlargesizeandbetterinnerfiber.Breadflouristhe
mostimportantingredientofmakingbread.
2.Plainflour
Flourthatcontainsnobakingpowder,itisusedformakingquickbread.
3.Whole-wheatflour
Whole-wheatflourisgroundfromgrain.Itcontainswheatskinandgluten,Whole-wheatflourisheavierand
morenutrientthancommonflour.Thebreadmadebywhole-wheatflourisusuallysmallinsize.Somanyrecipes
usuallycombinethewhole-wheatflourorbreadflourtoachievethebestresults.

4.Blackwheatflour
Blackwheatflour,alsonamedas"roughflour",itisakindofhighfiberflour,anditissimilarwithwhole-wheat
flour.Toobtainthelargesizeafterrising,itmustbeusedincombinationwithhighproportionofbreadflour.
5.Self-risingflour
Atypeofflourthatcontainsbakingpowder,itisusedformakingcakes.
6.Cornflourandoatmealflour
Cornflourandoatmealflouraregroundfromcornandoatmealseparately.Theyaretheadditiveingredientsof

14.Waterandotherliquid
Waterisessentialingredientformakingbread.Generallyspeaking,watertemperaturebetween
392℉and482℉isthebest.Thewatermaybebereplacedwithfreshmilkorwatermixedwith2%milkpowder,

Weighingliquidingredients
Water,freshmilkormilkpowdersolutionshouldbemeasuredwithmeasuringcups.Observethelevelofthe
measuringcupwithyoureyeshorizontally.Whenyoumeasurecookingoilorotheringredients,cleanthe
measuringcupthoroughlywithoutanyotheringredients.
Drymeasurements
Drymeasuringmustbedonebygentlyspooningingredientsintothemeasuringcupandthenoncefilled,
levelingoffwithaknife.Scoopingortappingameasuringcupwithmorethanisrequired.Thisextraamount
couldaffectthebalanceoftherecipe.Whenmeasuringsmallamountsofdryingredients,themeasuringspoon
mustbeused.Measurementsmustbelevel,notheapedasthissmalldifferencecouldthrowoutthecritical
balanceoftherecipe.
Addingsequence
Thesequenceofaddingingredients,generallyspeaking,shouldbe:liquidingredient,eggs,saltandmilkpowder
etc.Whenaddingtheingredient,theyeastshouldn'ttouchliquidatall.Theyeastcanonlybeplacedonthedry
