SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the device, read the following instructions
carefully. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or
new users.
- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using
the device.
- When using electrical and electronic devices, basic
precautions must always be followed to reduce the risk of
re, electrical shock, and injury.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not
intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels,
and oces.
- WARNING: the device is designed for drying water-washed
textiles only.
- Do not use this device to iron delicate fabrics such as wool
or similar. Always follow the drying and ironing instructions
on the fabric label.
- This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user
maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised
children.
- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the
device.
- Defects caused by improper use, damage, or attempts at
self-repair are excluded from the warranty. Defects caused
by wear and tear are also excluded.

- This symbol means: CAUTION: hot surface. The
temperature of the accessible surfaces of the device
may be hot when the device is in operation.
- The motor and telescopic tubes heat up during operation.
Do not touch them during or immediately after use.
- Switch o and unplug the device from the mains when not in
use and before assembly/disassembly or cleaning.
- Check the power cord for visible damage. If the cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the
supplier, or qualied personnel to avoid hazards.
- Let the device cool down completely before storing it.
- Keep all packaging materials away from children.
- Always place the power cord so that it does not pose a
hazard.
- Do not move the device during use.
- Plug the device to a properly installed socket. The mains
socket must be accessible to allow for quick unplugging if
necessary. The mains voltage must match the technical
data of the device. Do not use extension cords.
- Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any other part of the device
in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections
to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the
plug or switching on the device.
- If the device falls into water or comes into contact with any
liquid, unplug it immediately from the power supply. Do not
attempt to take the device out of the water if still plugged in.
Should it fall into water, refer to a qualied specialist before
resuming use.
- Do not use the device in damp environments.
- Do not use the device in rooms with easily ammable dust
or toxic/explosive vapours.
- Do not use the device near ammable materials.

- Do not connect the device to a multi-socket adaptor shared
by other high-voltage devices to avoid overloads and
possible short circuits (re).
- Avoid damaging the device in any way.
- Place the device on a dry, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
Leave enough space on the sides and top of the device.
- Do not place the device under other electronic devices.
- The device must be switched o when plugged to or
unplugged from the mains. To disconnect the device from
the mains, pull from the plug and never from the cord.
- Never cover the ventilation outlets or insert objects in them.
- Make sure the cord is not crushed, bent, or stretched over
sharp edges and that it does not touch hot surfaces.
- Protect the device from heat, ames, extreme temperatures,
moisture, and shocks.
- Never use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the
device.

2. BEFORE USE
- This device is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its
box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging
elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in
the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials
are recycled accordingly.

- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any
piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service
immediately.
- WARNING: hot surface. The motor unit and telescopic rod heat up during operation.
Do not touch them during or immediately after use.
- Follow the drying instructions for the fabrics you wish to dry.
- Never cover the ventilation outlets or insert objects in them.

3. OPERATION
Instructions on the control panel
1. Power button: press this button to turn the device on or o.
2. Timer increase/decrease button: you can set the timer to 15, 30, 60, 90, 130, or 180
minutes. Press the corresponding button to adjust the timer. A countdown will start and
last for the duration of the set time.
3. Temperature setting button: you can adjust the temperature by pressing ( ) and select
between room temperature ( ), 50 °C, and 60°C if speed is set to LOW and 70 °C if speed
is set to HIGH.
4. Air-speed setting button: press this button to select LOW or HIGH air-speed level.
Assembly
The device includes two telescopic rods that can be used at the same time thanks to the
Y-shaped bracket for bottom or heavy garments, or you can use a single rod for lighter
garments such as shirts.
Assembly for top garments
1. Insert the left and right hangers into the collar section. Fig. 3
2. Loosen the height-adjustment clip and pull the upper rod (a) to adjust the height. Once

adjusted the rod, re-tighten the clip. Fig. 4
3. Insert the upper rod (a) into the hole at the bottom of the collar section of the hanger.

4. Insert the non-drip protector into the lower rod (c). Fig. 6
5. Insert the above assembly into the hole on the surface of the motor unit as shown in
Figure 7.
6. Fix the balloon for top garments to the mounting ange and make sure that no air leaks
from the bottom. The seam of the balloon should coincide with the centre of the edge of
the motor unit as much as possible. Fig. 8-9
7. Dress the balloon with the garment (as shown in Figure 10) and ensure the following:
- The collar of the garment is well positioned.
- That the buttons (if the garments has any) are centred on the front of the balloon.
- The arms of the balloon t with the sleeves of the garment and do not wrinkle or twist.
- The garment is fully buttoned.
Warning
Make sure the balloon is well xed to the mounting ange and that there are no air leaks.
Assembly for bottom garments
1. Remove the hanger and collar section assembly. Fig. 11
2. Loosen the height-adjustment clip and pull the upper rods (a) to adjust the height. Once
the desired height has been set, re-tighten the clip. Fig. 12
3. Insert the lower rods (b) into the Y-shaped bracket. Fig. 13
4. Insert the support rod (c) into the bottom of the Y-shaped bracket. Then insert the
non-drip protector into the support rod (c). Fig. 14-15
5. Insert the above assembly into the hole on the surface of the motor unit as shown in
Figure 16.
6. Fix the balloon for bottom garments to the mounting ange and make sure that no air
leaks from the bottom. The seam of the balloon should coincide with the centre of the
edge of the motor unit as much as possible. Fig. 17-18
7. Dress the balloon with the bottom garment and make sure it ts well and does not twist
or wrinkle. All buttons and zips (if there are any) must be fastened. Fig. 19
Warning
Make sure the balloon for bottom garments is well xed to the mounting ange and that there
are no air leaks.
Using the counterweight clamps
1. The counterweight clamps help to better stretch the garment vertically for improved
ironing.

2. Attach a counterweight clamp on the end of each sleeve. Fig. 20
3. Place two counterweight clamps at the bottom centre (back and front) of the shirt. Fig. 21
Tips for use
- The drying/ironing process should last between 15 and 30 minutes for best results.
However, the duration may vary depending on the material and thickness of the garment.
It is advisable to start the process with a short time setting and increase it if necessary.
- The balloon can be enlarged or reduced in size with the help of the zips on the sides. For
small sizes, the zips must be closed. For large sizes, the zips must me opened.
- Shirts with large buttons may cause the button band to slightly crease during ironing. In
this case, it is advisable to manually re-iron the button band.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the device from the mains and let it to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
- Never use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device, as they could damage
the surface.
- If necessary, you can clean the device and the balloon with a slightly damp cloth and a little
neutral detergent. Wipe them with a dry cloth. Both balloons can be machine-washed.
- Allow all parts to dry completely before storing them.
- Store the device and all its accessories in a dry, clean, and safe place, where it is protected
from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children or animals.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING:
Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. If the problem persists after the checks explained
below, contact a qualied electrician, authorised personnel, the store where you purchased
the product, or the ocial Cecotec Customer Service.
The device

The plug is not correctly inserted into the socket. Plug it in correctly.
The socket is damaged. Try another socket.
Check the fuse of the mains connection.
The device wasn’t switched on. Set the timer to any value to check.

The device has an automatic safety shut-o function. It will automatically
switch o in case of overheating. Let the device to cool down and switch it
back on.

of a fall. Position the device correctly and switch it back on.
The set time has elapsed. Re-set the timer.
Strange
odours.
You may notice a slight odour when using the appliance for the rst time;
this is due to manufacturing residues. This is normal and won’t adversely
aect operation.
