1. SAFETY
This manual should be considered an integral part of the machine and should be carefully reviewed and stored for subsequent
reference.
1.1. GENERAL SAFETY
9 Children from age 8 years and above, persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities those with lack of experience and
knowledge can use the appliance, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way to
understand the hazards involved.
8 Children shall not play with the appliance.
9 Cleaning and user maintenance on the appliance shall not be made by children without supervision.
9 The appliance shall be disconnected from its power source during service and when replacing parts.
8 DO NOT operate the machine while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.
8 DO NOT overreach whilst using the machine, and keep balance at all times.
9 Always be sure of your footing on slopes and when walking with the machine. Never run.
9 Always wear substantial footwear and long trousers while operating the machine.
8 Never operate the machine with a defective guard or shield, or without safety devices.
8 Avoid using the machine in bad weather conditions, especially when there is a risk of lightning.
9 Use hearing protection during use.
9 Dierent types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.

9 NOTE: This machine can only be stored and used indoors.
WARNING: This machine is only used to remove dry dust and / or small debris from dry carpet or hard oor surfaces indoors.
WARNING: DO NOT use the machine without lters tted correctly.
8 DO NOT limit the air ow of the vacuum cleaner. Maintain the vacuum cleaner regularly so that all lters and openings are free of dust,
u, hair build up, or anything else that could aect the airow. See the maintenance checks in this article
8 DO NOT use machines to collect ammable or ammable liquids, such as gasoline. DO NOT use them in areas where they may exist.
8 DO NOT suck up anything that burns or smokes, such as cigarettes or hot ash.
8 DO NOT vacuum hard or sharp objects, such as glass, nails, screws, etc.
9 Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers and all parts of the body away from moving parts and openings.
9 Keep the machine, battery pack and battery charger away from heated surfaces.
8 DO NOT handle the machine, battery pack or battery charger with wet hands.
9 Remove the battery pack from the machine when not in use, before servicing, or before replacing lters and accessories.
9 After use, it should be stored in a suitable place to prevent tripping accidents.
1.2. WORK AREA SAFETY
9 Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
8 DO NOT operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools
create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
9 Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
1.3. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
9 Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of
electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
8 DO NOT expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
9 Power tools can produce electromagnetic elds (EMF) that are not harmful to the user. However, users of pacemakers and other similar
medical devices should contact the maker of their device and/ or doctor for advice before operating this power tool.
1.4. PERSONAL SAFETY
9 Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool.
8 DO NOT use a power tool while you are tired or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while
operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
9 Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes,
hard hat or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
9 Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the o-position before connecting the battery packs or picking up or carrying the
tool. Carrying power tools with your nger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on inv`ites accidents.
8 DO NOT overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.

9 Dress properly. DO NOT wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
8 DO NOT let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless
action can cause severe injury within a fraction of a second.
9 It is an employer’s responsibility to enforce the use of appropriate safety protective equipment by the tool operators and by other
persons in the immediate working area.
1.5. POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
8 DO NOT force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at
the rate for which it was designed.
8 DO NOT use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and o. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
9 Remove the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
9 Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and DO NOT allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions, to
operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
9 Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition
that may aect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
9 Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and
the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations dierent from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
9 Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for
safe handling and control of the tool in unexpected situations.
9 When using the tool, do not wear cloth work gloves which may be entangled. The entanglement of cloth work gloves in the moving
parts may result in personal injury.
1.6. SERVICE
9 Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety and
warranty of the power tool is maintained. See Section 6 Maintenance.
8 DO NOT service damaged batteries. Service of batteries should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorised service providers.
1.7. CORDLESS TOOL SAFETY
9 Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar with the controls and the correct use of the tool.
8 DO NOT allow children, persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge or people
unfamiliar with these instructions to use the tool. Local regulations may restrict the age of the operator.
9 Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property.
1.8. PREPARATION
8 DO NOT wear loose clothing or jewellery that can be drawn into the air inlet. Keep long hair away from the air inlets.
9 Always wear protective goggles to protect your eyes from injury when using power tools.
9 It is an employer’s responsibility to enforce the use of appropriate safety protective equipments by the tool operators and by other
persons in the immediate working area.
9 To prevent dust irritation the wearing of a face mask is recommended.
9 While operating the machine, always wear non-slip and protective footwear. Non-skid, closed-toed safety boots and shoes will reduce
the risk of injury.
9 Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes,
hard hat or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
1.9. OPERATION SAFETY
9 Switch o the tool and remove the battery cartridge and make sure that all moving parts have come to a complete stop:
(1) whenever you leave the tool, (2) before clearing blockages, (3) before checking, cleaning or working on the tool, (4) if the tool starts
to vibrate abnormally.
9 Operate the tool only in daylight or in good articial light.
8 DO NOT overreach and keep proper balance and footing at all times.
9 Always be sure of your footing on slopes. Walk, never run.
9 Keep all air outlets / inlets clear of debris.
8 DO NOT point the nozzle at anyone in the vicinity when using the tool.
8 DO NOT block suction inlet.
8 DO NOT block suction inlet or air outlet with dust or dirt when operating in dusty areas.
8 DO NOT use nozzles other than the nozzles provided by Sealey.
9 Using rakes and brooms to loosen debris before vacuuming is recommended.
9 If the tool strikes any foreign objects or should start making any unusual noise or vibration, immediately switch o the tool to stop
it. Remove the battery cartridge from the tool and inspect the tool for damage before restarting and operating the tool. If the tool is
damaged, ask an authorised service centre for repair.
8 DO NOT insert ngers or other objects into suction inlet or tool outlet.
9 Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the o-position before inserting battery cartridge, picking up or carrying the tool.
Carrying the tool with your nger on the switch or energizing the tool that has the switch on invites accidents.
8 DO NOT operate the tool near ammable materials.
8 DO NOT operate the tool for a long time in low temperature environment.
9 Avoid working in poor environment where increased user fatigue is expected.
8 DO NOT use the machine in bad weather where visibility is limited.
8 When wet leaves or dirt adhere to the suction element due to damp, remove them.
1.10. MAINTENANCE & STORAGE SAFETY
9 When you stop the tool for inspection, servicing, storage, or changing accessory, switch off the tool and make sure that all moving parts
come to a complete stop, and remove the battery cartridge. Cool down the tool before making any work on the tool. Maintain the tool with
care and keep it clean.Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the tool is in safe working condition.
9 If the parts are worn or damaged, replace them with parts provided by Sealey.
9 Store the tool in a dry place out of the reach of children.

9 Always cool down the tool before storing.
8 DO NOT expose the tool to rain. Store the tool indoors.
9 When you lift the tool, be sure to bend your knees and be careful not to hurt your back.
8 DO NOT leave the machine unattended outdoors in the rain.
8 DO NOT wash the machine with high pressure water.
9 When storing the machine, avoid direct sunlight and rain, and store it in a place where it does not get hot or humid.
9 Perform inspection or maintenance in a place where rain can be avoided.
9 After using the machine, remove the adhered dirt and dry the machine completely before storing. Depending on the season or the area,
there is a risk of malfunction due to freezing.
1.11. SERVICE
9 Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the
power tool is maintained.
9 Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorised service providers.
WARNING! DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product (gained from repeated use) replace strict adherence to safety rules for the
subject product. Misuse or failure to follow the safety rules stated in this instruction manual may cause serious personal injury.
2. INTRODUCTION
Designed for the professional, offering heavy-duty, high performance, durable tools with lightweight composite designs for superior control
and comfort. Operates using 2 x 20V batteries from the Sealey SV20 Series (batteries must be of the same Ah rating). Wearable backpack
vacuum for easy cleaning. Lightweight tank features quick release clasps for ease of emptying. Supplied with crevice nozzle, brush head,
hose extension tube, 1m flexible hose, HEPA filter x2 and dust bag x2. Sold as a bare unit. Requires 2 x CP20V Series 20V batteries of
same Ah rating for operation (sold separately).

4. CONTENTS
5. OPERATION
CAUTION: DO NOT place the machine on the ground while it is switched on. Sand or dust may enter from suction inlet and cause a
malfunction or personal injury.
5.1. INSTALLING / REMOVING THE BATTERIES (see fig.1 and Parts List items 14)
5.2. CAUTION: Always switch off the tool before installing or removing of the battery cartridge. Hold the tool and the battery cartridge firmly
when installing or removing battery cartridge.
CAUTION: Always install the battery cartridge fully. If not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone around you.
8 DO NOT install the battery cartridge forcibly. If the cartridge does not slide in easily, it is not being inserted correctly.
NOTE: The tool does not work with only one battery cartridge fitted.
NOTE: Pay attention to the position of your fingers when installing the battery. The button will be depressed unintentionally.
9 Ensure vacuum unit power switch is in the OFF position.
9 Gently slide the batteries into place on Support Plates (items 14) until you hear a “click”.
5.3. HOSE AND ACCESSORY ATTACHMENT (See Parts List for denition)
5.3.1. Screw exible hose (item 18) to the suction outlet (item 1).
5.3.2. Insert metal telescopic tube (item 22) to the opposite end of the exible hose (item 18).
5.3.3. Assemble required vacuuming tool (items 19, 20, 21, 22) to the telescopic tube.
5.3.4. To adjust telescopic leg, push slider (g.2) and withdraw the inner tube to the required length.

5.4. The machine has two suction levels selected using Suction Control on switch (item 17) (see g.3).
5.4.1. Press On/O Control once, the machine turns on. Press again, the machine turns o.
5.4.2. Press the Suction Control mode key once and the machine switches to high gear.
5.4.3. Press it again and the machine switches to low gear.
WARNING! DO NOT cover the air outlet lter (item 12) when working, or it may cause overheating and damage to the tool.
5.5. WEARING THE UNIT
5.5.1. In preparation of wearing the machine, follow these simple principles:
5.5.2. Loosen the shoulder straps and adjust the length, if required (g.4).
5.5.3. Lift the backpack by one shoulder strap and slide your free arm into the other strap.
5.5.4. Wrap the harness waistband around your waist and adjust to ensure a comfortable t
(g.5).
5.5.5. This is an optional feature and you can detach the harness waistband from your
machine if you prefer.
5.5.6. Pull down on the shoulder straps until it feels comfortable (g.6).
5.5.7. Adjust the chest strap to the correct position for you, and click together to secure.
5.5.8. Make sure the machine is tted comfortably to your frame (g.7)
6. MAINTENANCE
NOTE: To maintain product safety and reliability, repairs, maintenance or adjustment should be performed by authorised service centres.
WARNING! Always ensure the machine is switched o and the battery is removed before attempting to perform maintenance.
NOTE: The removal of the batteries has to be such that an operator can check from any of the points to which he has access that the
batteries remain removed.
6.1. CLEANING
6.1.1. Operate a daily routine check while the unit is in service.
6.1.2. If necessary, remove, empty and clean the dust bag (Parts List item 3) with a little clean water. Please note it cannot be used until fully dry.
6.1.3. Remove the cartridge filter (Parts List item 4)by rotating it and tap gently to clean or brush gently with soft, dry and clean brush. If used
repeatedly, the filtering effect reduces, please purchase new cartridge filter and replace it.
6.1.4. Please don’t clean the cartridge filter by water, otherwise, the filtering effect will be affected.
6.1.5. Remove dust or dirt from the air outlet filter of the machine (Parts List item12 ).
8 DO NOT use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol or the like. Discolouration, deformation or cracks may result.
6.1.6. Check the battery packs for possible damage. If there is any sign of damage DO NOT use but replace it as soon as possible.

8 DO NOT use the cleaner if any other damage is found to any component. Only replace parts with original items (see Parts List).
6.1.6.1. Check floor, tools, metal telescopic tube, handle and hose for any obstructions.
6.1.6.2. If performance drops off, the hose may have a blockage. If so, remove batteries, hose, metal telescopic pipe and oor tools and probe
gently with long handled item i.e. broom handle.
6.2. STORAGE
6.2.1. Remove the batteries before storing the machine and performing any maintenance.
6.2.2. Clean as detailed in Section 6.1. Once cleaned, store in a cool, dry place, away from moisture, rain or direct sunlight.
6.2.3. Keep out of the reach of children.
6.3. TRANSPORT
6.3.1. When transporting the unit, remove the batteries and either remove the hose from the suction port or tie it in place to prevent it
trailing on the ground or swinging around.
6.3.2. Empty the vacuumed contents according to local regulations. Avoid spilling dust into the local atmosphere / environment.
6.3.3. Carry the unit by the handle built into the back pack.
6.4. END OF LIFE
6.4.1. Remove all components, separate into relevant groups and dispose of accordingly.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any uids (if applicable) into approved
