• Always read instructions before using the Truck Tire Step.
• Vehicle Wheels must be wedged and brakes must be locked before
using the Truck Tire Step.
• Never use the Truck Tire Step without adjustment pins locked into
place by use of clevis pins. Check condition of entire unit before
each usage. Check that the adjustment lock pins and clevis pins are
securely in place.
• If using two Truck Tire Steps to make an extended platform, vehicle
wheels must be wedged and brakes locked and both ends of platform
must be securely bolted to each Truck Tire Step. Extension material
must be of adequate size and strength to hold weight placed on it.
It is also recommended you place a strong support box between the
steps, under the extension, to add strength to the extended platform.
• Keep fingers and hands away from pinch point region of this tool at
all times.

It is the responsibility of the owner to make sure all personnel read this manual prior to using
the device. It is also the responsibility of the device owner to keep this manual intact and in
a convenient location for all to see and read. If the manual or product labels are lost or not
legible, contact Matco Tools for replacements. If the operator is not fluent in English, the product
and safety instructions shall be read and discussed with the operator in the operator's native
language by the purchaser/owner or his designee, making sure that the operator comprehends
its contents.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ADJUSTMENT TO FIT OVER TIRE:
While step is still folded and placed on the ground,
remove Pin (#6), slide Back Arm to proper adjustment,
re-insert Pin (#6) in same direction as removed, lock
pin with clevis pin (#8).
TO ADJUST VERTICALLY IN HEIGHT:
While step is still folded and placed on the ground,
remove Pin (#7), adjust step to height desired, re-insert
Pin (#7) in same direction as removed, lock pin with
clevis pin (#8).

Warranty
Matco warrants Truck Tire Steps for a period of 1 year from original purchase against defects in material or
workmanship. We will repair or replace at our option any defective part or unit which proves to be defective in
material or workmanship within this warranty plan. This warranty does not cover damage to equipment or tools
arising from alteration, abuse or misuse, and does not cover any repairs or replacement made by anyone other
than Matco or its authorized service centers.
This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any damage caused by careless or unsafe
handling, alterations, accidents, misuse, or repair attempts by anyone other than an authorized warranty center.
This warranty gives you specific rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
The foregoing obligation is Matco’s sole liability under this or any implied warranty and under no circumstances
shall Matco be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
Note: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Return equipment or parts to Matco Tools, or an authorized service center, transportation prepaid. Be certain to
include your name and address, evidence of the purchase date, and description of the suspected defect.

gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
