under federal law must be removed prior to product
disposal. If you are getting rid of an old refrigeration
product, check with a qualied disposal company for
instructions.
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an
electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk
of electric shock by providing an escape wire for
the electric current. This appliance is equipped with
a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding
plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is
properly installed and grounded.

workmanship, and agrees to remedy any such defect or to furnish a new part(s), at the company’s option, for any
part(s) of the unit that has failed during the warranty period. Parts and labor expenses are covered on this unit for a
period of one year from the date of purchase. A copy of the dated sales receipt or invoice is required to receive
warranty service, replacement or refund.
Product repair in accordance with the terms herein, is your sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty.
Any and all implied warranties including merchantability and tness for a particular purpose are hereby limited to
one year or the shortest period allowed by law. MC Appliance Corporation is not liable for incidental or consequen-
tial damages and no representative or person is authorized to assume for us any other liability in connection with
the sale of this product. Under no circumstances is the consumer permitted to return this unit to the factory without
the prior written consent of MC Appliance Corporation.
Some states prohibit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on implied
warranties. This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state

LIMITATIONS OF REMEDIES AND EXCLUSIONS

workmanship for a period of ve years. The consumer is responsible for all labor and transportation expenses
related to the diagnosis and replacement of the compressor after the initial one-year warranty expires. In the event

Pre-installation
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
1. Staff kitchen areas in shops, ofces and other working environments;
2. Farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

4. Catering and similar non-retail applications.

The refrigerator should be located on a completely at surface.
Leave about 2 to 4 inches (5-10 cm) between each side of the appliance and the wall.
Leave 12 inches (30 cm) between the top of the appliance and the ceiling.
Choose a location which is not exposed to sunlight, high temperature or humid, as humidity may cause stain.
The appliance can be adjusted by turning its two legs in the front of the bottom panel when it is unstable.
Turning them in the clockwise direction can raise the refrigerator.
The location should be rm and at. An unsecure position may cause noise and vibration. The noise may be
increased if the oor is not rm. Put a sheet under the appliance to solve the heat emission if you need to locate
it onto a carpet.
Make sure the adjustable legs are rm on the oor, and set the appliance slope backward slightly to keep the
doors closed tightly.
Make note of the position of the contents and retain packaging for future packing and moving.
Do not lift by the door handle when moving the appliance.
Do not tilt the appliance more than 45 degrees.
Avoid strong vibration and collision.

counterclockwise.

Remove three bottom hinge screws (F) with a Phillips
screwdriver and then remove the bottom hinge (G)
with a flat head screwdriver.

leveling legs (H) with three bottom hinge screws (F)
by a Phillips screwdriver.

Install right and left leveling legs (H) by turning
clockwise. There are two holes below the refrigerator
to fit the two leveling legs (H).

Operation

drying or odor.
Hot food should be cooled down before placing into
the appliance. Otherwise, interior temperature and
electric consumption will increase.
Reducing the frequency of door opening can lower
the electric consumption.
WARNING: Do not use any electronic equipment inside
the appliance.
WARNING: Excessive Weight Hazard! Use two or more
people to move and install refrigerator. Failure to do so can
result in back or other injury.
VACATION
MOVING THE REFRIGERATOR
Allow refrigerator to stand upright for 4 hours before
using.
Plug into a grounded outlet (see Important Grounding
Instructions on page 3).
The temperature of refrigerator can be controlled
manually by the knob. However, the number shown
on the knob does not directly represent the tempera
ture. Instead, the larger the number is, the lower the
interior temperature will be. 0 stands for off. Turn the
knob to state 4 when it is normal used, turn it to the
state during 4-7 if a lower interior temperature is
required; contrarily, to the state during 4-1, when a
higher one is needed.
Before leaving on any vacation, remove food that
could spoil while you are gone. If you plan to be gone
for an extended period of time, we recommend that
all of the food should be removed from the appliance
and it should be turned off and unplugged from the
outlet. Clean the interior according to the directions
provided in the Cleaning section of this manual, and
leave the door open.
There should always be some space between food
items inside for air circulation.
Food should be kept in sealed containers to prevent
odors or drying.
Hot food should be cooled down before placing into
the appliance to prevent increase in interior
temperature and power consumption. Placing food
inside too soon will impact the performance.
Reducing the frequency of door opening can lower
power consumption.

WARNING: Do not use sharp or pointed objects to remove frost or ice from the surfaces of the freezer compartment.
This can cause damage to the compartment walls and cooling coils, and will void the warranty.
CLEANING
Interior
Clean the interior of the appliance with a mixture of warm water and baking soda, using about 1-2
tablespoons per quart of water.
Use a sponge or soft cloth and be sure to wring excess moisture out before cleaning around the controls.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry with a clean, soft cloth.
Exterior
The exterior surface can be cleaned using warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry with
a clean, soft cloth.
Door Gasket
The door gasket must be kept clean to ensure a proper seal. Be sure to clean the gasket frequently, using
the method described above.
DEFROSTING
POWER FAILURE
Frost build-up on the walls of the freezer section will increase energy consumption and reduce the efciency of
the appliance. Defrost the freezer section whenever the frost reaches a thickness of ¼".
When a power failure occurs, the refrigerator can normally store food for several hours. Do not put additional
food into the appliance during a power failure, and do not open door. Disconnect the plug from the outlet, and
reconnect when the power has been restored. Always inspect for, and discard, any spoiled or thawed food in the
refrigerator or freezer before resuming use of the appliance.

Remove food from the refrigerator and freezer compartment.
If your model has a drip tray, be sure to place it under the freezer compartment to collect water. It may be
necessary to empty the drip tray during the defrosting process.
Turn the unit off and unplug it from the outlet.
The defrosting process can take several hours. Open the door to speed up the process.
When defrosting is completed, wipe the compartment with a soft cloth to remove any remaining water.
Reset the refrigerator temperature, following the operating instructions on page 8.

Coloque el refrigerador sobre una supercie completamente plana.
Deje una holgura mínima de 5 a 10 cm (2 a 4 pulgadas) entre los lados del electrodoméstico y la pared.
Deje 30 centímetros (12 pulgadas) entre la parte superior del electrodoméstico y el techo.
Elija un lugar que no esté expuesto a la luz solar, a temperaturas elevadas ni a la humedad, ya que ésta puede
provocar la aparición de manchas.
En caso de inestabilidad, se puede estabilizar el electrodoméstico haciendo girar las dos patas en la parte
delantera del panel inferior. Al girarlas en el sentido de las agujas del reloj se puede elevar el refrigerador.
El lugar debe ser rme y plano. La colocación sobre una supercie irregular puede provocar ruidos y
vibraciones. El ruido puede aumentar si el suelo no es rme. Coloque una lámina debajo del electrodoméstico
para solucionar la emisión de calor si necesita ubicarlo sobre una alfombra.

LIMPIEZA
Interior
Limpie el interior del electrodoméstico con una mezcla de agua tibia y bicarbonato de sodio, usando
aproximadamente 1-2 cucharadas por litro de agua.
Utilice una esponja o un paño suave y asegúrese de escurrir el exceso de humedad antes de limpiar
alrededor de los controles.
Enjuague a fondo con agua tibia y seque con un paño limpio y suave.
Exterior
La supercie exterior puede limpiarse con agua tibia y un detergente suave. Enjuáguela a fondo y séquela

Burlete de la puerta
El burlete de la puerta debe mantenerse limpio para que se genere un buen sello. Límpielo con frecuencia,
utilizando el método antes descrito.
DESCONGELAMIENTO
FALLO DE ALIMENTACIÓN
La acumulación de escarcha en las paredes de la sección del congelador aumentará el consumo de energía y
reducirá la eciencia del electrodoméstico. Descongele la sección del congelador siempre que la escarcha
alcance un grosor de ¼".
Cuando se produce un corte de corriente, el refrigerador puede almacenar normalmente los alimentos durante
varias horas. No introduzca más alimentos en el electrodoméstico durante un corte de corriente ni abra la puerta.
Desconecte el enchufe del tomacorriente y vuelva a conectarlo cuando se haya restablecido la energia eléctrica.
Revise siempre el refrigerador y el congelador en busca de alimentos estropeados o descongelados y deséchelos
