As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are labelled in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Green/Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable). The
wire labelled blue is the neutral and must be
connected to the terminal marked [N].
The wire labelled brown is the live wire and must
be connected to the terminal marked [L].
The wire labelled green/yellow must be

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
The unit is supplied in a single package carton. Carefully unpack the product using the following
procedure:
1. Ensure that the product is in the correct position with the carton wording legible.
2. Remove the straps and sleeve.
3. Carefully lift the replace out of the box.
4. Remove the protective packaging and bag from the suite.
5. Carefully remove the protective lm covering the re.
6. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

HANDLING
Before continuing any further with the
installation of this re please read the following:
• Two people should be sucient to lift the
re.
• When lifting always keep your back
straight. Bend your legs and not your
back.
• Avoid twisting at the waist. It is better to
reposition your feet.
• Avoid upper body / top heavy bending.
Always bend from the knees rather
than the waist. Do not lean forward or
sideways whilst handling the re.
• Always grip with the palm of your hand.
Do not use the tips of ngers for support.
• Always keep the product as close to the
body as possible to prevent unnecessary
and undue strain on the body.
• Use gloves to provide additional grip.
• Always use assistance if required.

Inserting the Battery Into the Remote:
• This unit can be operated via the built-
in control panel or through the included
remote control.
• To use the remote control, begin by
inserting a CR2025 battery (not included)
into the battery compartment situated on
the underside of the remote. To do this,
place a thumb or small object, such as a
coin, on the release tab and gently push
it to one side, so that it detaches from
the main body of the unit. Once this tab
has been loosened, gently pull the battery
compartment towards you and away from
the body of the unit.

• Once the battery compartment is open,
insert 1 x CR2025 battery into the
corresponding slot, taking care to ensure
the polarity is correct.
• When the battery has been inserted, close
the battery compartment by pushing it
back into the main body of the remote
until it clicks into place.
• The remote control is now ready for
normal use.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE:
Turning the Unit On and Off:
• When turning the unit on, make sure the
ON/OFF switch, located on the inside of
the mantle on the left-hand side, is in the
OFF position. Plug the power cord into a
220~240 grounded outlet.
CAUTION! Make sure the outlet is in good
condition and that the plug is not loose. NEVER
exceed the maximum amperage for the circuit.
DO NOT plug other appliances into the same
circuit.
• Flick the On/O switch on the unit’s main
body to the ‘On’ position (represented by
the symbol ‘I’) to turn it on. The unit’s LCD
control panel will briey light up to indicate
the unit has been turned on.
NOTE: A few seconds after being turned on,
the unit will automatically go into Standby
mode. The LED screen will go out, and the
Standby indicator will light up to show the unit
is in Standby mode.
• Flick this switch to the ‘O’ position
(represented by the symbol ‘O’) while the
unit is in operation to turn it o. The ame
eect and the LCD control panel will go
out and any functions in operation will be
interrupted to indicate the unit has been
turned o.
NOTE: If the unit is on Standby mode, the
Standby indicator will remain lit for a few
moments after the switch has been switched
o, then gradually dim in brightness before
going out completely. This indicates the unit
has been fully turned o.
Turning the Flame Effect On and Off:
• This unit is equipped with an eye-catching
LED ame eect. This eect automatically
comes on whenever the unit is powered
up; however, it can be controlled
independently even while the unit is in
operation.
• Press the Flame Eect On/O button on
the remote control or the unit’s control
panel to turn this function on. The
corresponding indicator will light up on the
unit’s LCD display to show this function
has been selected.
• Press the Flame Eect On/O button
again while the ame eect is turned on to
turn this function o.
Dimming the Flame Effect:
• The Flame Eect can also be dimmed
while in operation, using the unit’s control
panel or the included remote control.
• Press the Flame Eect Brightness button
to dim or increase the brightness of the
LED ame eect. The corresponding
indicator bar on the unit’s LCD screen will
increase or decrease in length accordingly
to reect any changes made to the ame
eect brightness.
Turning the Heating On and Off:
• This unit’s heating function can be
turned on or o even while the unit is in
operation.
• Press the Heat On/O button on the
remote control or the unit’s control
panel to turn this function on. The
corresponding indicator will light up on the
unit’s LCD display to show this function
has been selected.
• Press the Heat On/O button again while
the heating function is activated to turn
it o.

Setting the Temperature:
• The unit’s temperature can be set
manually using the remote control.
• Press the + or – buttons on the unit’s
control panel to increase or decrease the
unit’s temperature by increments of 1,
from 15 to 40 degrees. The temperature
indicator on the unit’s LCD display will
change accordingly to reect the correct
temperature.
The Open Window Function:
• This unit is equipped with an open
window detection function. When
this function is selected, the unit will
automatically adjust its temperature to
account for draughts and other sources of
wind or air.
• Press the Open Window button on the
remote control to turn this function on.
The corresponding indicator will light up
on the unit’s LCD screen to show this
function has been activated.
• Press the Open Window button again
while this function is activated to turn it
o. The corresponding indicator on the
unit’s LCD screen will go out to show this
function has been stopped.
Setting The Time And Date:
• This unit’s date and time can be set
manually using the included remote
control.
• Press the Time/Date Selection button on
the unit’s remote control to access the
time and date programming menu. The
weekday indicator for Sunday (‘SUN’) will
light up on the unit’s LCD display to show
this option has been selected.
• Once the time and date function has been
activated, use the Up/Next and Down/
Previous arrows on the unit’s remote
control to cycle through and select the
correct day of the week.
• Press the Time/Date Selection button
again once the correct day has been
selected to move on to the hour selection
menu. The corresponding digits will begin
to ash on the unit’s LCD display to show
this option has been selected.
• Repeat the steps above to set the correct
hours and minutes.
• Once the correct day, hours and minutes
have been set, press the Time/Date
Selection button again to conrm the
selections and exit the time and date
selection menu. The unit will resume
normal operation.
NOTE: Date and time settings will be erased
in the event of a power outage or if the unit is
disconnected from the mains.
Setting A Timer:
• This unit allows for up to 10 timers to be
set at one time, and stored into memory
for delayed use, if required.
• Press the Timer button on the unit’s
remote control to access the timer
programming menu. The preset digits will
begin to ash on the unit’s LCD screen to
show this function has been selected.
• Once the preset and timer programming
menu has been accessed, use the + and
- buttons to cycle through the available
presets and select your desired slot. Press
the Timer button again to conrm your
selection and move on to the weekday
selection menu.
• Repeat the steps above to select the
starting day, hours and minutes for the
timer. Press the Timer button once all the
parameters have been set to conrm your
selection.
• Repeat the steps above again to select
the ending day, hours and minutes for the
timer. Press the Timer button once all the
parameters have been set to conrm your
selection.

• Carry out the above process as many
times as required to program the
remaining timers, if desired.
• Once all the timers have been set, press
the Timer button on the unit’s remote
control to turn on the preset timer
function. There will be a sound prompt,
the unit’s control panel and LED ame
eect will turn o, and the Timer and
Standby indicators will turn on to indicate
the Timer function has been activated.
The replace will then begin operating
automatically at the set time, remain on
for the set amount of time, and turn itself
o automatically at the end of the preset
cycle.
• Press the Back/Reset button at any time
to clear all programmed timer settings and
start the process over.
Safety Cut-Out:
• This appliance is tted with a safety cut-
o device, which will operate if the re
overheats (e.g. due to blocked air vents).
For safety reasons, the re will NOT
automatically reset.
• To reset the appliance, disconnect the
appliance from the mains supply for at
least 15 minutes. Reconnect to the mains
supply and switch on the appliance.
• If the re fails to operate, check the fuse in
the plug. If the fuse in the plug is OK and
the re is still not functioning, contact a
qualied service person.
CAUTION! Do not touch the re as it will be
hot. Set the heater switches to OFF and leave
the re to cool down fully. Once completely
cool, reconnect the heater and switch it on.
Do not open this product. There are no user-
serviceable parts inside.
CHECK THAT YOU HAVE NOTED ALL THE

accessible and located adjacent to, but
not above or behind the re.
• Always disconnect the re from the
electrical supply before carrying out
cleaning or maintenance.

secured.
• Always assemble the re in accordance
with this guide. If in doubt, obtain expert
advice.
• Always ensure the product is assembled
in an area that is free from dust, grease or
liquids.
• Always ensure that the correct tools are
used to assemble/install this product.
• Always make sure the re is rmly secured
in place when complete.
Don’t:
• Never leave children unsupervised in a
room where the re is ON and unguarded.
• Never obstruct or cover the fan outlet or
force items into the re openings.
• Never install or use the re anywhere
where water is in use, i.e. bathrooms,
kitchens, shower rooms, swimming pools
etc.
• Never use aerosols or steam cleaners on
or around the re.
• Never route the mains supply cable under
carpet etc.
• Never install the re close to curtains or
combustible materials.
• Never use the re to dry clothes etc.
• Never sit or stand on the re.
• Never cut the o the plug and hard wire
into a xed fused spur.

NOTE: Any new wiring required, must be in
accordance with local and national codes and
other applicable regulations in order to reduce
the risk of re, electric shock, or other injuries.
NOTE: When the re is turned on for the rst
time or when it has not been used for some
time, it may release a slight, harmless odour.
This odour is a normal occurrence caused
by the initial heating of the internal heating
elements or dust, and will disappear with use.

CLEANING AND CARE

• The glass viewing screen should be
cleaned carefully with a soft cloth.
• Do not allow water or other liquids to run
into the interior of the product, as this
could cause a re and/or electrical hazard.
• We also recommend the periodic cleaning
of this appliance by lightly running a
vacuum cleaner nozzle over the guards
to remove any dust or dirt that may have
accumulated inside or on the unit.
CAUTION! Do not use harsh detergents,
chemical cleaners or solvents as they may
damage the surface nish of the plastic
