II.Preparation
1.Useappliancesonlywithspecicallydesignated
batterypacks.Usingothertypesofbattery
packsmaycreateariskofinjuryand/orre.
2.Donotuseadamagedormodiedbatterypack
orbatterycharger.Itmayexhibitunpredictable
behavior,resultinginre,explosion,orriskof
injury.
3.Ifthesupplycordtothebatterychargeris
damaged,contactanAuthorizedServiceDealer
toreplaceit.
III.Operation
1.Chargethebatterypackwithonlythebattery
chargerspeciedbyToro.Achargersuitablefor
1typeofbatterypackmaycreateariskofre
whenusedwithanotherbatterypack.
2.Chargethebatterypackinawell-ventilatedarea
only.
3.Followallcharginginstructionsanddo
notchargethebatterypackoutsideofthe
temperaturerangespeciedintheinstructions.
Otherwise,youmaydamagethebatterypack
andincreasetheriskofre.
4.Underabusiveconditions,thebatterypackmay
ejectliquid;avoidcontact.Ifyouaccidently
comeintocontactwiththeliquid,ushwith
water.Iftheliquidcontactsyoureyes,seek
medicalhelp.Liquidejectedfromthebattery
packmaycauseirritationorburns.
5.Donotexposeabatterypackortooltoreor
excessivetemperature.Exposuretoreor
temperatureabove130°C(265°F)maycause
explosion.
6.CAUTION—Amistreatedbatterypackmay

ChargingtheBatteryPack

whenyoupurchaseit.Beforeusingthetoolfor
thersttime,placethebatterypackinthecharger
andchargeituntiltheLEDdisplayindicatesthe
batterypackisfullycharged.Readallsafety
precautions.
Important:Chargethebatterypackonlyin
