REVERSING THE DOOR
Tools required: Phillips-head screwdriver,
at-bladed screwdriver, adjustable wrench.
Ensure the unit is unplugged and empty.
To take the door off, it is necessary to tilt
the unit backward. You should rest the unit
on something solid so that it will not slip
during the door-reversing process. Save all
parts for the reinstallation of the door.
Do not lay the unit flat, as this may
damage the coolant system.
1. Remove the
top right hinge
cover.
2. Remove the
screws. Then
remove the
hinge bracket.
3. Remove the
top left screw
cover.
4. Move the screw
cover from left
side to right side.
Then lift the door
and place it on a
padded surface
to prevent
scratches.
5. Remove the leveling
feet on the bottom
of the unit. Unscrew
and remove the
bottom hinge
pin, turn the
bracket over,
and replace it.
6. Ret the bracket
tting the bottom
hinge pin. Place
the leveling feet
back on.
7. Place the door
back on. Ensure
the door is aligned
horizontally and
vertically so that
the seals are
closed on all
sides before
nally tightening the top hinge.
8. Insert the hinge bracket and screw it to
the top of the unit.
9. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten it if
necessary.
10. Place the hinge
cover and screw
cover back on.
