instructions, and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.

1. SAFETY
9 Inspect the cable and connector for wear and damage to ensure items are safe before connecting to the power supply. If worn or
damaged DO NOT use.
9 Ensure the lamp is fully charged before initial use.
8 DO NOT charge in damp conditions.
8 DO NOT turn the lamp on when it is being charged.
8 DO NOT shine directly into your, another person’s or an animal’s eyes.
8 DO NOT allow children to use the lamp.
8 DO NOT handle or move the lamp whilst it is being charged.
8 DO NOT use the lamp if you suspect that the battery or the lamp casing is damaged.
8 DO NOT leave battery in a discharged state, recharge battery immediately. Before storage, fully recharge the battery, subsequently
recharge the battery at least once every six months of non-use.
8 DO NOT attempt to open, disassemble, modify or service the battery pack.
8 DO NOT crush, puncture, short external contacts or dispose of in re or water.
8 DO NOT expose to temperatures above 60°C (140°F).
9 Replace only with the battery pack designated for this product.
9 Recycle or dispose of used battery as stipulated by local regulations.
9 If the electrolyte in the cells gets on your skin, thoroughly wash with water. If it gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool
water and seek immediate medical attention.
2. INTRODUCTION
Warm and comfortable beanie hat with a removable SMD spotlight. Features three light settings - full light (100%) medium light (75%) and
low light (50%). Includes wireless headphones for phone calls and music 2.4GHz transfer speed up to 10m. Removable lamp & speaker
chargeable via a USB port. Positioning of the LED gives a sufcient beam of light ahead of the user. LED and wireless speakers powered by a
rechargeable 3.7V 300mAh Lithium-Polymer battery. Supplied with USB charging cable.

4. OPERATION
4.1. The light is operated by means of the on/off switch (g.1):
4.1.1. The rst press of the switch selects full power (120lm).
4.1.2. The second press, 75% (90lm).
4.1.3. The third press, 50% power (60lm).
4.1.4. To switch off, press for the fourth time.

4.2. CHARGING THE LIGHT
4.2.1. Push the light unit back from the front of the hat to remove (g.2).
4.2.2. Remove the USB cap (g.3) and insert the plug into a USB socket.
4.2.3. When the connection is made, a red light will show through the casing.
4.2.4. When the light changes to green, charging is complete. Remove the light unit from the USB socket and return to the hat.
4.3. WIRELESS HEADPHONE OPERATION (FIG.5)
4.3.1. To turn the headphones on long press play.
4.3.2. Scan for the headphones using your phones wireless settings.
4.3.3. When the device is playing the indicator light will ash blue.
4.3.4. When the device is paused the light will illuminate solid blue.
4.3.5. To skip forward press the plus button once.
4.3.6. To skip to the start of a track press the minus button once.
4.3.7. To skip to the previous track press the minus button twice.
4.3.8. To turn the volume up press the pause button and then press the plus button, press play again to check that the volume is at the
desired level.
4.3.9. To turn the volume down press the pause button and then press the minus button, press play again to check that the volume is at
the desired level.
4.4. CHARGING THE HEADPHONES
4.4.1. To charge the device the headphones units can be removed from the hat (g.4).
4.4.2. Using a mains adaptor or laptop charge the device. The indicator light will shine red while the device is charging (g.5).
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. Remove the light unit, see section 4.2.1., and the speaker units 4.4.1 before washing the hat.
5.2. Wash the hat at a low temperature and DO NOT tumble dry.
8 DO NOT use solvent or abrasive cleaners to clean the light unit.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
BATTERY REMOVAL
Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform potential purchasers of products
containing batteries (as defined within these regulations), that they are registered with Valpak’s registered compliance scheme. Jack
Sealey Ltd Batteries Producer Registration Number (BPRN) is BPRN00705.
