grade polypropylene pads that can absorb up to 1L of uid and featuring a double weight cover stock for maximum absorbency.
Supplied with 1.2m absorbent sock specially designed to absorb up to 5L of uid and create barriers to keep spills from spreading.
Suitable for use with oil, petrol, diesel, coolants, mild solvents, water and other spills. Full list of absorbent applications provided in
each kit. Supplied in a resealable storage bag.
3. SPECIFICATION
4. OPERATION
4.1. Shallow spills and final absorption of a spill should be carried out using pads,
but only once containment is complete. The pads should be left in contact with the
fluid for about two or three minutes, or until saturated. Each pad will contain up to
one litre of fluid approximately, depending upon viscosity.
4.2. When using the absorbent sock, it should be used to form a temporary dam to
contain fluid and not as a mop. A nominal 300mm overlap of ends to contain fluid is
suggested. (Smaller spills would require the SCK15 kit, medium spills SCK30 kit
and larger spills SCK50 kit). All sold Separately.
4.3. Included in the kit is a large clearly marked disposal bag and associated tie. All
used absorbent’s should be packed in the disposal bag and the contents indelibly
marked in the spaces marked “PRODUCT” and “CATEGORY”.
4.4. Dispose of immediately, following all local environmental guidelines.
