Installation Precautions

Installation must be performed by a professional. Contact our technical support for any installation questions.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal before installation to prevent re, possible injury, and/or damage
to the product.
Replace a faulty fuse with a new one of the same type and rating. Using a fuse of different type or rating
may result in damage to the product.
Observe the safety and operating instructions of the devices which are connected to the product.
Servicing must only be carried out by a technician. Contact our technical support for any service questions.
Wiring Overview
Through wiring, the RZR-FSA speakers can play audio from the audio receiver which receives audio via AUX
IN connection or Bluetooth streaming.
Important notes:
Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle battery prior to installation.
Consult an expert when in doubt about wiring in your Polaris RZR, such as access to the vehicle battery,
bus bar, and rewall grommet, etc.

: Connect the “MAIN OUT” sockets of the audio receiver to the “LINE IN” plugs (red/white) of the left
speaker. Make sure to match the connector color. This will allow output audio from the audio receiver
(BPS1RS) to the speakers (RZR-FSA).

: Connect the “REMOTE OUT” wire (blue) of the audio receiver to the “REM” wire (blue) of the left speaker.
This can control turn-on/turn-off of the speakers whenever the audio receiver is turned on or off.
C
: Connect the power and ground wires of the left speaker to the bus bar in your Polaris RZR, the “+12V” wire
(red) to the positive terminal and the “GND” wire (black) to the negative terminal. Make sure the ring
terminals are properly secured to the bus bar with the factory hardware.

: Connect the left and right speakers together, using the “OUTPUT” wires attached to each speaker.

: Connect the power and ground wires of the audio receiver to the bus bar in your Polaris RZR, the
“POWER+” wire (red) to the positive terminal or ACC power terminal and the “GROUND-“ wire (black) to
the negative terminal. Make sure the ring terminals are properly secured to the bus bar with the factory
hardware.

: Using a 3.5 mm audio cable (not included), connect the “AUX IN” socket (3.5mm) of the audio receiver to
the headphone jack on your mobile device (e.g. mobile phone or MP3 player).

Mounting Overview
The BPRZR2S is designed specically for the Polaris RZR. Bluetooth audio receiver BPS1RS is designed for
the rocker switch locations on the RZR dash. The RZR-FSA front internally amplied speaker pods are specic
to the Polaris RZR footwell.

Disassembly
Some disassembly of the dash is required for the BPRZR2S installation.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. The battery can be accessed by removing the driver seat in two seat
vehicles and left rear seat in four seat vehicles.
2. Remove the hood by disengaging the twist locks on it. Then the bus bar under the hood can be accessed
for power connection to the BPS1RS and the RZR-FSA.

3. Remove the top dash panel and upper storage compartment to access the dash cavity for installation of
the BPS1RS and RZR-FSA.
Note: The disassembly instructions below are based on RZR with upper storage compartment.
As illustrated, remove the upper storage compartment by remove the (2) push pins. Remove the (4) T40
torx screws to unsecure and remove the top dash panel.
After removing the dash panel, the rocker switch location and dash cavity can be accessed.

Audio Receiver (BPS1RS) Installation
Important notes:
See “Installation Precautions” on page 2.
Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle battery prior to wiring.
Consult an expert when in doubt about installation of the audio receiver.
1. Remove the hood and the dash in your RZR to access the bus bar and the rocker switch location. See
“Disassembly” on page 4 for details.
2. Simply insert the audio receiver into an available rocker switch location.
If a rocker switch location is not available, cut a rectangular hole (W x H: 0.85” x 1.45”) in the dash. Then
directly t the audio receiver in the hole.
Important: When cutting the hole in the dash, verify any wiring in the dash cavity will not be damaged.
3. Connect the power and ground wires of the audio receiver to the bus bar. Route the “POWER+” wire (red)
and “GROUND-” wire (black) out of the rewall through the rewall grommet. Then connect the two wires to
the bus bar, the red wire to the positive terminal and the black wire to the negative terminal.
Note: For BPRZR2S installation, only power and ground harnesses will be routed out of the dash cavity
through the rewall.
Speaker (RZR-FSA) Installation
The included two speakers are designed to be installed near the footwell in your Polaris RZR, the left/amplied
speaker on the driver side and the right speaker on the front passenger side.
Important notes:
See “Installation Precautions” on page 2.
Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle battery prior to wiring.
Consult an expert when in doubt about installation of the speakers.
1. Remove the driver and front passenger seat, and remove the hood and the dash in your RZR to access the
bus bar and the dash cavity. See “Disassembly” on page 4 for details.
2. Install the right speaker (with no wire harness) near the footwell on the front passenger side.

a. Find the one T40 Torx screw two inches above the passenger footrest (as illustrated below), and remove
it as a mounting screw for the speaker.
b. Position the speaker in place. Refasten the T40 Torx screw through the bracket pre-attached to the
bottom of the speaker.
c. Using two of the supplied screws (M5x27mm), secure the speaker to the rewall via the other two
mounting holes on the speaker.

3. Install the left/amplied speaker near the footwell on the driver side. Repeat the right speaker installation
steps to the driver side.
Remove one T40 torx screw and refasten it through the bracket pre-attached to the bottom of the speaker.
Then secure the speaker to the rewall using the other two of the supplied screws (M5x27mm).
4. When the two speakers are mounted, make the following wiring connections (see “Wiring Overview” on
page 3).
Connect the speakers together using the “OUTPUT” cables attached to each speaker. Route the cables
across the dash cavity.
Connect the “REM” wire (blue) of the left speaker to the “REMOTE OUT” wire (blue) of the BPS1RS.
Connect the “LINE IN” plugs (red/white) of the left speaker to the “MAIN OUT” sockets of the BPS1RS.
Route the “+12V” power and “GND” ground wires of the RZR-FSA out of the rewall through the rewall
grommet. Then connect the two wires to the bus bar, the red wire to the positive terminal and the black
wire to the negative terminal.

5. Installation of the audio receiver and speakers is complete now.
Then reconnect the nagative terminal of the vehicle battery and function test the installation. Finally,
reassemble the panels and dash of your RZR.
Feature Operation
To use playback features and control of the audio recevier, refer to the separate user manual of BPS1RS.
