FOLLOW ME
The follow me feature can only be activated from
the remote control.
The remote control has a thermostat inside of
it. Keep the remote control will you and the
air conditioner will automatically adjust the set
temperature based on the ambient temperature at
your location.
The maximum distance for the follow me feature is
8 meters (26 feet). This feature is available in cool
and auto modes.
To activate follow me, press the turbo button and
then press the temperature control buttons until the
follow me icon appears on the display and then
press the turbo button to confi rm the selection.
The remote control display will show the actual
ambient temperature at its location. The remote
control will sent a signal to the air conditioner every
20 minutes to update the set temperature. If the
air conditioner does not receive a signal from the
remote control during any 25 minute period, the
follow me feature will deactivate.
To deactivate follow me, press the turbo button and
then press the temperature control buttons until the
follow me icon fl ashes on the display and then press
the turbo button to confi rm the selection.
SLEEP
The sleep feature can be used to conserve energy
during sleeping hours. This feature can be used
during cool and heat mode.
When selected in cool mode, the set temperature
will increase by 1 degree per hour for 2 hours. The
appliance will hold the new set temperature for
6 hours before automatically returning to normal
operation.
When selected in heat mode, the set temperature
will decrease by 1 degree per hour for 3 hours.
The appliance will hold the new set temperature for
5 hours before automatically returning to normal
operation.
After activating the sleep feature, the display will
dim and 1 minute later the display will turn off. To
check the status, press any of the following buttons:
the temperature control buttons, the louver button,
the timer button and the temperature scale button.
The display will dim after 5 seconds.
