Customize Nest Detect.
When Nest Detect is on a door, you
can disable motion sensing in Settings.
This is helpful if you have curtains on
the door, for example. You won’t get
motion alerts when the curtains move.
Set up Remind Me alerts.
Enable Home/Away Assist in
Settings so Nest Secure knows when
you’ve left the house and when you’re
coming home.
Set up your emergency contacts.
Set up names and phone numbers
of emergency contacts and the police,
so you can call them right from a
security alert.

You can require a passcode to arm the
alarm to prevent accidental arming.
Choose your alarm countdown.
In Settings, you can choose from
30 seconds to ve minutes to exit
and enter your home before the
alarm goes off.
