background
Installation Instructions
Surfaces must be clean, dry and relatively smooth.
To ensure a better bond, heat gently with a WARM (not hot!) heat gun
before xing. This ensures the adhesive is more tacky and produces
a better bond. The substrate temperature must also be above 10°C /
50°F.
Slowly remove the release paper, then carefully locate the anti-
slip tape. Once placed correctly, use a wallpaper seam roller or
rubber mallet to bond the tape into place securely. Press rmly with
ngers over imperfections to seal completely. Whilst this product is
waterproof, it is only as good as the seal that is created. Ensure there
are no gaps where water could soak beneath the tape to loosen the
bond.
Substrate Instructions
Wood - New wood should be sealed or painted. Remove any aking
paint with glasspaper or a wire brush. Anti-slip tape will not adhere to
wood treated with creosote or other wood preservatives.
Metal - Anti-slip tape adheres better to painted or primed surfaces.
Remove any rust or aking paint with glasspaper or a wire brush.
Concrete - must be smooth for anti-slip tape to bond rmly. Vacuum
surface to remove any dust.
All other surfaces must be relatively smooth, dry and dust free.
Anti-slip tape can be used immediately.
