2.UnderOverlaySettings,selectIncludetext.

3.Enterthemodier#D.Whentheruleistriggered,#Disreplacedbythetextspeciedintheactionrule.

Additionaltextinthiseldwillbedisplayedalsowhentheactionruleisnotactive.

4.GotoEvents>ActionRulesandcreateyouractionrule.

5.FromtheActionslist,selectOverlayText.

6.EnterthetexttodisplayintheTexteld.

7.SpecifytheDuration.Thetextcanbedisplayedwhiletheruleisactiveorforaxednumberofseconds.

Aboutprivacymasks

Aprivacymaskisauser-denedareathatcoverspartsofthemonitoredarea.Privacymasksappearasblocksofsolidcoloror

blurredimageelementsandareappliedonthevideostream.PrivacymaskscannotbebypassedusingtheVAPIX®application

programminginterface(API).

ThePrivacyMaskList(Video&Audio>PrivacyMask)showsallthemasksthatarecurrentlyconguredintheAxisproductand

indicatesiftheyareenabled.

Youcanaddanewmask,re-sizethemaskwiththemouse,chooseacolorforthemask,andgivethemaskaname.

1.InstallthecameraasdescribedintheInstallationGuide.

2.GotoSetup>Video&Audio.

3.OnthefocuspagegototheBasictab.

4.Setthezoomlevelusingtheslider.
