Thank you for purchasing a Sealey product. Manufactured to a high standard, this product will, if used according to these
instructions, and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. NOTE THE SAFE OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, WARNINGS & CAUTIONS. USE
THE PRODUCT CORRECTLY AND WITH CARE FOR THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH IT IS INTENDED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE DAMAGE AND/OR
PERSONAL INJURY AND WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY. KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS SAFE FOR FUTURE USE.
1. SAFETY
WARNING! Pump must be used in accordance with Health & Safety, government, local authority, and water authority rules
and regulations.
9 Familiarise yourself with application and limitations, as well as the potential hazards peculiar to the pump.
WARNING! Disconnect the pump from the battery before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.
9 Maintain the pump in good condition. Keep the pump clean.
9 Replace or repair damaged parts (use an authorised service agent). Use genuine parts only. Non authorised parts may be
dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
9 If the bottom of the liquid container is covered with sludge, sand, gravel or mud etc, suspend the pump or place it on a raised
base to operate above the solid matter. Sand and such substances will reduce working life of pump, and invalidate your warranty.
9 In flood situations, user is responsible for ensuring that appropriate back up procedures, alarms etc are correctly installed in
case of pump failure.
9 In swimming pool, fish ponds, etc, ensure location is clear of people and animals (including removal of fish from pond).
Note: this pump is not designed for continuous use in a fish pond or similar water feature or display.
8 DO NOT use with petrol or other volatile liquids within flashpoint range -20°C to +80°C.
8 DO NOT use to pump septic tanks or settling pits.
8 DO NOT operate the pump if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
8 DO NOT use the pump for any purpose other than for which it is designed.
8 DO NOT operate pump out of liquid. The pump pick up area must be completely submerged during operation.
8 DO NOT operate the pump during freezing temperatures. DO NOT leave the pump in water that may freeze.
8 DO NOT carry the pump by its electrical cable, or outlet pipe.
8 When not in use remove battery clips from terminals. Rinse pump, drain out any liquid and store in a frost free, safe location.
8 WARNING! Whilst the pump may be used in dirty water, it is not to be used for water containing large particles e.g. mud, weed
8 WARNING! DO NOT allow uncontrolled discharge of contaminated water/harmful chemicals thus polluting the environment.
8 WARNING! This pump must only be connected to a 12Vdc battery. DO NOT attempt to connect to any other supply.
2. INTRODUCTION
Robust and compact portable pump for use with diesel, non-aggressive chemicals and fresh or dirty water.
Suitable for re-fuelling/fluid transfer of plant, agricultural and marine equipment on site. The pump is supplied with a 3mtr outlet hose and
stainless steel nozzle plus a 4mtr battery cable with clips. Will fit through a Ø54mm aperture to allow emptying of containers. End cap can be
unscrewed for periodic cleaning of the filter.

5. OPERATION
WARNING! Not for use with petrol or volatile liquids within ash point range -20

WARNING! Damage will occur if the pump is run dry. Only for use when submerged in liquid.
IMPORTANT! Ensure polarity and voltage are correct before use.
IMPORTANT! Motors damaged due to dry running, incorrect polarity and/or incorrect voltage will not be covered
under warranty.
5.1. Prepare pump for use. Ensure that the impeller guard, lter and end cap are all in place and that the hose is rmly attached.
Ensure the seal around the power cable is in place and that the seal cap is screwed tightly down.
IMPORTANT! Should any of the above items appear damaged or in some way malfunctioning DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
USE THE PUMP.
Contact your authorised service agent for information and repairs.
5.2. Submerge pump in liquid to be transferred.
5.3. Position stainless steel nozzle as required.
5.4. Attach battery clips to appropriate terminals - take great care and keep clips and battery well away from any liquids.
IMPORTANT! Pump will deliver immediately - be sure to have the pump submerged and the hose correctly
positioned before battery clips are connected.
5.5. Should the pump’s performance deteriorate signicantly during usage, remove battery clips from terminals and remove pump
from the liquid.
Unscrew end cap and check that it is not blocked. Also check that the filter and impeller are not clogged.
Remove any blockages, reassemble pump and continue use.
IMPORTANT! DO NOT exceed 15 minutes continuous run time in every 30 minutes.
6. MAINTENANCE
6.1. Unscrew the end cap for periodical cleaning of the lter. It is recommended that the lter be cleaned after use in particularly
viscous liquid, or where a signicant amount of suspended matter was present in the liquid.
6.2. Check the impeller regularly for any build-up of foreign matter. Clean if necessary.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes
completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the
product and fluids according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
