PresetPositions

Apresetpositionisapredenedviewthatcanbeusedtoquicklysteerthecameratoaspeciclocation.Presetpositionscan

beaccessedinseveralways:

•ByselectingthepresetfromthePresetpositionsdrop-downlistintheLiveViewPage.

•Whensettingupactionrules.Seepage39.

•WhensettingupGuardTour.Seepage31.

•WhensettinguptheGatekeeper.Seepage30

Toaddapresetposition:

1.GotoPTZ>PresetPositions.

2.Usethepan,tiltandzoomcontrolstosteerthecameraviewtothedesiredposition.

3.EnteradescriptivenameintheCurrentpositioneld.

4.Ifrequired,selectUsecurrentpositionasHome.

5.ClickAdd.Thecamera’sposition,irisandfocussettingsaresavedasapresetposition.

TheHomepositionisreadilyaccessiblebyclickingtheHomebuttonontheLiveViewpageandinthePresetPositionssetupwindow.

Tosetacustomizedhomeposition,selectUsecurrentpositionasHomewhenaddingapresetposition.Theuser-denedhome

positionwillhave(H)added,forexample,Entrance(H).ThedefaultHomeposition,called“Home”,willstillbeavailable.

TheproductcanbeconguredtoreturntotheHomepositionwhenthePTZfunctionalityhasbeeninactiveforaspeciedlength

oftime.EnterthelengthoftimeintheReturntohomewheninactiveeldandclickSave.Setthetimetozerotopreventthe

productfromautomaticallyreturningtotheHomeposition.

Toincludethepresetpositionnameintheoverlaytext,gotoVideo,selectIncludeoverlaytextandenterthemodier#Pintheeld.

Theproductcanbemountedinthreedifferenthorizontaldirections.ThismaycausetheviewfromPan0°tobechangedfromthe

originalview.ClickSetnewPan0°tosetthepancoordinatesystemtozerointhecurrentdirection.SetnewPan0°canbe

usefulforinstancewhenre-installingtheproductaftermaintenance.Notethat,settingPan0°willaffectallpreviouslydened

presets,guardtours,masksetc.
