3. Remove the battery from the battery charger
when it is fully charged. Push the battery
indicator button for battery status. When all
the LED indicators come on, the battery is
fully charged.
4. Pull the power plug to disconnect the battery
charger from the power outlet. Do not pull the
power cord.
To connect the battery to the product
WARNING: Only use Husqvarna
original batteries in the product.
1. Fully charge the battery.
2. Push the battery into the battery holder of the
product. The battery locks into position when
you hear a click.
CAUTION: If the battery does
not move easily into the battery
holder, the battery is not installed
correctly. This can cause damage
to the product.
To install the deflector
WARNING:
Do not use the deflector
as a handle. Do not hold or move the
hedge trimmer with the deflector.
Install the deflector to make removal of cut
material easier.
1. Stop the product.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Put on gloves.
4. Align the deflector with the grooves on the
guide bar.
5. Push the deflector fully onto the guide bar.
6. Install the deflector retainer in the end of the
guide bar.
To start the product
1. Push and hold the start/stop button until the
green LED comes on.
2. Push the power trigger lockout and one of
the power triggers for a standard operation
position. To use the extended range position,
push 2 of the power triggers.
Note: The use of the power trigger lockout is
only necessary if you start the product in the
standard operation position.
