1. SAFETY
WARNING! The lathe (not included) is heavy - it is recommended that two persons lift and lower the lathe onto the assembled stand.
9 Avoid trapping hands/ngers beneath the lathe, when lowering onto the stand.
9 Ensure the stand is positioned on rm, level ground (we recommend concrete or a similar hard surface).
9 Ensure the surrounding environment is not conducive to rust. Rust will damage the stand, rendering it structurally unsafe.
2. INTRODUCTION
Suitable for Model No. SM27 metal turning lathe and other similar lathes. Includes suds tray and two latched door storage cabinets with
shelves. Made from welded steel and heavy duty feet making it incredibly sturdy. Part of a vast range of lathe accessories and tools
available from Sealey. (Lathe not included)
3. SPECIFICATION
Dimensions (HxWxD): 765mm x 1040mm x 420mm
Nett Weight: 39kg
4. ASSEMBLY
NOTE: assemble using the xings provided.
8 DO NOT tighten fully until all parts are aligned.
4.1. Attach the left cabinet (1) to the right cabinet (2) using the back connector plate (3)
and the front connector plate (4). Use the smaller xings provided.
4.2. Align the holes and attach the tray (5) to the cabinets using the larger xings.
5. MAINTENANCE
NOTE: the lathe is heavy and should the stand sustain structural damage, it could
collapse/overbalance if not properly repaired/replaced.
5.1. Check the stand regularly to ensure structural integrity.
5.2. Periodically check the stand for rust.
5.3. Occasionally remove the lathe and check the nuts & screws within the stand. Ensure
they are all present, intact and tightened.
5.4. Regularly check the stand for dents, distortion and signs of misuse.
5.5. For information regarding repairs/replacement contact your authorised Sealey stockist.
