Electrical Safety
Improper handling can cause serious damage to the Avallon outdoor refrigerator and / or injury to the user.
This outdoor refrigerator is designed for domesc use only. Do not use the unit for industrial or commercial
use. Any other use may invalidate the warranty. Please review the rang label located inside and on the rear
panel of the unit for electrical and other technical data related to this unit. The unit must be used with a
properly grounded wall outlet.
Please read and follow the safety informaon listed below to reduce the risk of re, electric shock, or injury.
Note: Flammable Refrigerant Used! When handling, moving, and using the refrigerator, make sure
to avoid either damaging the refrigerant tubing or increasing the risk of a leak.
• Do not exceed the power outlet rangs.
• It is recommended the outdoor refrigerator be connected on its own circuit.
• The unit must be installed in accordance with state and local electrical codes.
• A standard electrical supply (115 V, 60Hz), that is properly grounded in accordance with the Naonal
Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances is required.
• Use outlets that cannot be turned o by a switch or pull chain.
• Always turn the unit o and unplug it from the outlet when cleaning.
• Unplug the unit if it is not going to be used for an extended period of me.
• Do not operate the unit with a power plug missing the ground plug, a damaged cord, or a loose socket.
• Be sure the outdoor refrigerator is properly grounded.
• Never plug or unplug the unit with wet hands.
• Do not bypass, cut, or remove the grounding plug.
• Do not use extension cords or power strips with this unit. You may need to contact your electrician if it is
necessary to use a longer cord or if you do not have a grounded outlet. Do not modify the power cord’s
length or share the outlet with other appliances.
• Do not start or stop the unit by switching the circuit’s power on and o.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualied technician.
• Never repair the unit while it is plugged in.
• Immediately unplug the unit if it makes strange sounds, emits smells, or smoke comes out of it, and contact
customer service.
• Do not remove any part of the casing unless you are instructed to do so by an authorized technician.
• You should never aempt to repair the unit yourself.
• Contact customer service for service opons if the unit needs service.

• If your model of outdoor refrigerator is equipped with a lock, keep the keys away from children.

• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosng process.

First-Time Operating Instructions
Before use, make sure all packaging labels and materials are removed from the unit. Be sure to keep track of all
included parts and pieces before discarding the packaging materials. It is advised that you keep the original box
and packaging materials in case you ever need to move or ship the appliance in the future.
Let the unit stand for at least 24 hours before you use it; this allows the cooling components me to sele from
transit. The instrucon manual should be read before use.

Thank you for purchasing this Avallon outdoor refrigerator. We hope that this purchase will be the beginning
of a lasng and rewarding relaonship between you and Avallon. We will provide the customer support and
exemplary products necessary to nurture that relaonship.
This manual contains important informaon regarding the proper installaon, use, and maintenance of your
outdoor refrigerator. Following this manual will ensure that your product will work at its peak performance and
eciency.
Please save the original product packaging in case you need to safely transport your outdoor refrigerator.

A built-in carbon lter protects your contents by acng as a natural barrier against harmful odors
This is an air-cooled unit equipped with an internal fan that maintains a consistent internal temperature.
Note: The carbon lter should be replaced every 3 - 6 months depending on the unit’s exposure
level to odor. If the unit is placed in the kitchen, regular replacement every 3 months is ideal.

Installation
The outdoor refrigerator should be installed in accordance with local electrical code requirements. The outdoor
refrigerator should also be placed in a locaon that is strong enough to support its total weight, keeping in
mind that it will weigh substanally more when fully loaded than when empty. Before you plug the outdoor
refrigerator into a power supply, be sure to let it stand upright for at least 24 hours to allow the compressor’s
oils to sele.
Unpacking the Outdoor Refrigerator
Warning: Use two or more people to move and install the outdoor refrigerator. Failure to do so
can result in back or other injury. Carefully remove the packaging materials. Remove any shipping
tape and glue from your outdoor refrigerator before use. Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing
alcohol, ammable uids, or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or glue. These products can
damage the surface of your outdoor refrigerator.

Warning: Do not remove any safety, warning, or product informaon labels from your outdoor
refrigerator.

Warning: DO NOT install the outdoor refrigerator behind a closed cabinet door.

This outdoor refrigerator has been designed for freestanding or built-in installaon. In each case, there must be
adequate venlaon and access for service.
Freestanding Installaon:
A freestanding installaon will allow you to install the outdoor refrigerator in almost any place you desire. You
must follow the stated instrucons for electrical requirements and leveling the outdoor refrigerator.
Built-in Installaon:
A built-in installaon will allow you to install the outdoor refrigerator under a counter as long as the required
clearance space around the outdoor refrigerator is provided. It is necessary to allow adequate venlaon space
around the unit, including at the back of the unit.
The following addional items must be observed:
1. Place the outdoor refrigerator in front of the installaon locaon. Adjust the feet and place the unit at on
the oor or on a plaorm depending on your installaon requirements.
2. If the electrical outlet for the outdoor refrigerator is behind the cabinet, plug in the outdoor refrigerator.
3. Push the refrigerator into posion.

Clearance Requirements
When installing the outdoor refrigerator under a counter, follow the recommended spacing dimensions shown.
To ensure proper service access and venlaon, allow at least 1-2” of clearance at the back,

Note: The outdoor refrigerator should be installed on a rm and level surface that will be able to
support the enre weight of a fully loaded unit. It is important for the outdoor refrigerator to be
level in order to work properly. If needed, you can adjust the height of the outdoor refrigerator by
rotang the feet. See the “Leveling the Outdoor refrigerator” secon.

ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD!
• Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
• Never remove the grounding prong from the plug.
• Never use an adapter to bypass the grounding prong.
• DO NOT use an extension cord.
• Failure to follow these instrucons can result in re, electrical shock, or death.
Electrical Requirements
Recommended Grounding Method
Before you move your outdoor refrigerator into its nal locaon, it is important to make sure you have the
proper electrical connecon:
• A standard electrical supply (115 V, 60Hz), properly grounded in accordance with the Naonal Electrical
Code and local codes and ordinances, is required.
• It is recommended that a separate circuit, serving only your outdoor refrigerator, be provided. Use
receptacles that cannot be turned o by a switch or pull chain.
• The fuse (or circuit breaker) size should be 15 Amps.
For your personal safety, this appliance must be grounded. It is equipped with a power supply cord that has a
3-pronged grounding plug. To minimize possible shock hazard, the cord must be plugged into a mang 3-pronged
wall socket, and grounded in accordance with the Naonal Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances. If a
mang wall socket is not available, it is the personal responsibility of the customer to have a properly grounded,
3-prong wall receptacle installed by a qualied electrician.

Leveling the Outdoor refrigerator
The outdoor refrigerator should be installed on a rm and level surface
that will be able to support the enre weight of a fully loaded unit. It
is important for the outdoor refrigerator to be leveled in order to work
properly. It can be raised or lowered by rotang the plasc sheaths
around each of the feet on the boom of the machine. If you nd that
the surface is not level, rotate the feet unl the outdoor refrigerator
becomes level. You may need to make several adjustments to level it.
We recommend using a carpenter’s level to check the machine. Turn the
leveling feet to the right to lower that side of the outdoor refrigerator.
Turn the leveling feet to the le to raise that side of the outdoor
refrigerator.
Important: Once you are ready to install the unit in a cabinet or directly on the oor, you must
adjust the feet to level the outdoor refrigerator.

Installing the Door Handle
Cauon: Do not over-ghten the screws as this may cause damage to the handle or to the stainless
steel door.
!
To install the door handle:
1. Open the door and carefully pull the door gasket around the area where the handle is to be installed.
2. Insert each Phillips head screw through the gasket side of the door unl the screw passes through the door.
3. Align the handle with the screws and ghten using a Phillips head screwdriver unl the handle is ush
against the door frame.
4. Carefully press the door gasket into its original posion.

Installing the Shelves
Removing the Shelves
To prevent damaging door gasket, make sure to open the door fully before pulling the shelves o their tracks.
1. Open the door completely.
2. Ensure that the metal guide posts are aached to the back of the shelf.
3. While liing the right side of the shelf up 45°, rest the le metal guide post on the shelf track.
4. Slowly push the shelf back unl the right metal guide post reaches the vercal indentaon in the cabinet.
5. Gently set the shelf down on the track.
1. Open the door completely.
2. Remove all of the contents loaded on the shelf, if applicable.
3. Ensure that the shelf is pushed back completely.
4. Carefully li either the le or right side of the shelf up 45°.
5. Pull the shelf forward unl it is completely removed from the inner compartment.

Operation
Installation Checklist before Operation
Using the Temperature Control Panel
The outdoor refrigerator has a temperature range of 34° F to 65° F.

RUN
Power Buon: Turns the unit on and o. Press and hold this buon for approximately 3 seconds to
adjust between power on and power o.
Light Buon: Press this buon to alternate between the three internal light colors: Blue, white,
and amber. Please refer to the “Internal Light” secon for further details.
Up Buon: Press this buon on the control panel to increase the temperature by 1 degree
increments.
Down Buon: Press this buon on the control panel to lower the temperature by 1 degree
increments.
Run Light: When lit, the unit is in cooling mode.
The Celsius (C) or Fahrenheit (F) indicator will be lit depending on which unit of temperature
measurement is being used. To switch between C and F, press and hold both the Up and Down
buons simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds. A beep will sound and the indicator light will
illuminate next to the desired temperature seng.
1. Have all packing materials and tape been removed from the interior and exterior of the refrigerator?
2. Have the installaon instrucons been followed, including connecng the machine to electricity? And has
proper grounding been installed for the outdoor refrigerator?
3. Has the machine been leveled?
4. Is the outdoor refrigerator in a site where the ambient temperature is between 50° F and 90° F all year
round?
5. Is there a clearance of at least 1- 2” at the rear, 1/4” at the top, and 1/4” at the sides for proper air
circulaon?

Internal Light
This outdoor refrigerator is equipped with top and side internal lights that can be set to a blue, white, or amber
color. The internal lights will illuminate when the door is opened and turn o when the door is closed.
Note: We run test every unit that we produce in our factory. Because of this, your model may
default to any of the above colors out of the box. Simply cycle through unl you reach your desired
internal light color.
Note: The refrigerator is equipped with a temperature memory funcon. If power is suddenly lost,
the previously set temperature will be saved and the outdoor refrigerator will return to this seng
once power is restored. Allow at least 24 hours for the seng temperature to be reached.
Cauon: If you turn the refrigerator o, please wait at least 5 minutes before turning it back on.

Normal Sounds
Sabbath Mode
This refrigerator is programmed with a Sabbath Mode. In Sabbath Mode, the outdoor refrigerator will connue
to cool and maintain temperature. However, the refrigerator will no longer respond to user interacons. All
lights, display(s), and indicators are turned o, and all alarms are disabled. To enter Sabbath Mode, hold the
Power buon and press the Up buon twice. The control panel will beep twice indicang that the refrigerator
is in Sabbath Mode. To exit Sabbath Mode, perform the same acon and the control panel will beep twice
indicang that the refrigerator is no longer in Sabbath mode. The refrigerator will return to normal operaon.
Your new outdoor refrigerator may make noise during normal operaon. Most of these sounds are normal.
Hard surfaces like the oor and walls can make the sounds seem louder than they actually are.
The following describes several sounds you may hear and what may be making them:
• Raling noises may come from the ow of the refrigerant or the water line. Items stored on top of the
outdoor refrigerator can also make noises.
• The high eciency compressor may make a pulsang or high-pitched sound.
• Water running from the evaporator to the water bin may make a splashing sound.
• As each cycle ends, you may hear a gurgling sound due to the refrigerant owing in your outdoor
refrigerator.
• You may hear air being forced over the condenser by the condenser fan.

Temperature Alarm
Door Ajar Alarm
If the interior temperature is higher than 73°F (23°C), “HI” is shown on the temperature control panel and the
temperature alarm will sound connuously aer one hour. This indicates that the inner temperature is too high.
If the inner temperature is lower than 25°F (-4°C), “LO” is shown on the temperature display panel and the
temperature alarm will sound connuously aer one hour. If one of these situaons occurs please reference the
troubleshoong secon found in this manual or contact Avallon for support.
This outdoor refrigerator includes a door ajar alarm, which will sound if the door is open for more than ve (5)
minutes. Leaving the door open for extended periods of me will cause poor cooling performance and may
shorten the life of the outdoor refrigerator. Keep the doors closed as much as possible.
Warning: Never aempt to remove frost with a sharp object!

Defrosting
Preparing the Outdoor Refrigerator for Storage
Note that under most refrigerang sengs, the unit will automacally defrost under most ambient condions.
However, on colder sengs, some frost may build up. Addionally, the more humid the ambient condions, the
more frost may build up. Keep the door closed as much as possible and avoid opening the door unnecessarily to
minimize frost build-up.
If frost is prevenng the door from closing properly, you may need to power the unit o unl the frost melts. Use
a so absorbent towel to dry the unit.
Cauon: Store the unit out of reach from children. If you have children, you may want to take
addional precauons such as removing the door to prevent a child from being trapped inside the
outdoor refrigerator.
Important:
• Do not touch the power plug when your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the unit by pulling on the cord.

If the refrigerator will not be used for a long me, or is to be moved to another place, it will be necessary to
defrost the unit and dry the interior.
1. Disconnect the refrigerator from the power supply by removing the power plug from the wall socket.
2. Leave the door open to allow for air circulaon and to prevent mold, mildew, and unpleasant smells.
3. Once the interior is dry and clean the unit will be ready for storage.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Periodic cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure eciency, top performance, and long life.
The door and cabinet may be cleaned with a mild detergent and lukewarm water soluon such as 2 tablespoons
of baking soda to 1 quart of water.
Do not use solvent based or abrasive cleaners. Use a so sponge and rinse with clean water. Wipe with a so
clean towel to prevent water spong. If the door panel is stainless steel, it can discolor when exposed to chlorine
gas and moisture. Clean stainless steel using a cloth dampened with a mild detergent and warm water soluon.
Never use an abrasive or causc cleaning agent.
Exterior Cleaning
Interior Cleaning
The outdoor refrigerator’s interior should be cleaned occasionally.
1. Disconnect power to the unit.
2. Open the door and remove the contents and shelves.
3. Wait unl the unit defrosts.
4. With a clean cloth, wipe down the interior of the unit.
5. Reinsert the shelves and contents.
6. Reconnect power to the unit.

Troubleshooting
If the unit appears to be malfunconing, read through the “Operaon” secon of this manual rst. If the problem
persists, check the Troubleshoong Guide below and on the following page. The problem may be something that
can easily be solved or explained.

The ambient temperature is

WHAT IS COVERED:
One Year Parts and Labor: For one year from the date of original retail purchase, Avallon will repair or replace any part free of charge including
labor that fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. Avallon will be responsible for all transportaon costs for the rst 90 days from original
purchase date, aer 90 days the consumer will be responsible. Labor will be performed free of charge at an authorized Avallon repair facility and

Aer the 12 month period, Avallon will no longer be responsible for labor charges incurred or replacement parts. All defecve products and parts
covered by this warranty will be repaired or replaced on a mail-in basis to an Avallon authorized repair facility.
Five Year Limited Warranty (Compressor- Labor Not Included): In the second through h year from the date of original retail purchase, Avallon
will replace the compressor free of charge. The consumer will be responsible for all transportaon and labor costs. Avallon will supply a new,
rebuilt, or refurbished compressor and may request for the defecve compressor to be returned in exchange. This limited 5-Year warranty is for the
compressor only and does not include labor.
All warranes apply to the original purchaser only, and only covers defects in workmanship experienced during operaon of the product under
normal service, maintenance, and usage condions. This warranty applies to the purchase and use of this product in residenal sengs within the
United States of America. All products and parts replaced by Avallon under warranty service become the property of Avallon. All defecve products
and parts covered by this warranty will be repaired or replaced on a mail-in basis to an Avallon authorized repair facility.
Excepons: Commercial or Rental Use Warranty: 90 days labor and parts from date of original purchase. No other warranty applies.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
Labor charges for installaon, setup or training to use the product. Shipping damage, and any damage caused by improper packaging for shipment
to an authorized service center, and any damaged caused by improper voltage or any other misuse, including abnormal service, handling, or
usage. Cosmec damage such as scratches and dents. Normal wear and tear on parts or replacement of parts designed to be replaced, e.g. lters,
cartridges, baeries. Service trips to deliver, pick-up, or repair, install the product, or to instruct in proper usage of the product. Damages or
operang problems resulng from misuse, abuse, operaon outside environmental specicaons, uses contrary to instrucons provided in the
owner’s manual, accidents, vermin, re, ood, improper installaon, unauthorized service, maintenance negligence, unauthorized installaon or
modicaon, or commercial use. Labor, service transportaon, and shipping charges for the removal and replacement of defecve parts, beyond
the inial 12-month period. Products that have been modied to perform outside of specicaons without the prior wrien permission of Avallon.
Products lost in shipment, or the. Products sold AS IS or from an unauthorized reseller. Products that have had their serial numbers removed,
defaced, or with serial numbers that have been invalidated. Damage from other than normal household use. Replacement or repair of household
fuses, circuit breakers, wiring or plumbing. Damage to personal property from use of product. Damage from service other than from an authorized
Avallon repair facility. Hoses, knobs, lint trays and all aachments, accessories and disposable parts. Any service charges not specically idened as
normal such as normal service area or hours. Any special or consequenal damages arising out of the use of the product.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE:
If you believe your product is defecve, contact Avallon Customer Support for troubleshoong assistance and warranty service at www.avallon.com
or call 1-866-471-7427. Before contacng Customer Support, you are required to have your model number, serial number and proof of purchase
available upon request. Once an Avallon authorized representave has conrmed that your product is defecve and eligible for warranty service,
the product must be returned to an Avallon authorized repair facility. Avallon is not responsible for damage resulng from shipper mishandling or
improper packaging. Do not return a defecve product to the place of purchase. Products received without a return authorizaon number will be
refused.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS REQUIRED BY LAW, IT IS LIMITED
IN DURATION TO THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD ABOVE. NEITHER THE MANUFACTURER NOR ITS DISTRIBUTORS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY
INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST REVENUES
OR PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGE WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE. IN NO EVENT AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE OF
ANY TYPE OR KIND SHALL THE SELLER, MANUFACTURER AND/OR DISTRIBUTOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY REASON, UNDER ANY THEORY, FOR MORE
THAN THE BASIC COST OF THE PRODUCT TO THE PURCHASER OR END USER. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY
HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
