7.1.2 Mulīcast Discovery
Check the Enable Mulīcast Discovery, and then the online network camera can be automaīcally
detected by client soīware via private mulīcast protocol in the LAN.
7.2 SNMP
You can set the SNMP network management protocol to get the alarm event and excepīon
messages in network transmission.
Before You Start
Before seī«ng the SNMP, you should download the SNMP soīware and manage to receive the
device informaīon via SNMP port.
Steps
1.
Go to the seī«ngs page: Conī®guraīon ā Network ā Advanced Seī«ngs ā SNMP .
2.
Check Enable SNMPv1, Enable SNMP v2c or Enable SNMPv3.
Note
The SNMP version you select should be the same as that of the SNMP soīware.
And you also need to use the diī«erent version according to the security level required. SNMP v1
is not secure and SNMP v2 requires password for access. And SNMP v3 provides encrypīon and
if you use the third version, HTTPS protocol must be enabled.

Conī®gure the SNMP seī«ngs.
4.
Click Save.
7.3 Set SRTP
The Secure Real-īme Transport Protocol (SRTP) is a Real-īme Transport Protocol (RTP) internet
protocol, intended to provide encrypīon, message authenīcaīon and integrity, and replay aī©ack
protecīon to the RTP data in both unicast and mulīcast applicaīons.
Steps
1.
Go to Conī®guraīon ā Network ā Advanced Seī«ngs ā SRTP .
2.
Select Server Cerīī®cate.
3.
Select Encrypted Algorithm.
4.
Click Save.
Note

Only certain device models support this funcīon.
ā
If the funcīon is abnormal, check if the selected cerīī®cate is abnormal in cerīī®cate
management.
