textiles washed in water.
CAUTION Some parts of this product can become very
hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given
where children and vulnerable people are present.
Check that the voltage indicated on the data plate
corresponds with that of the local network before
connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odour and
a little smoke. This is normal and will quickly disappear, it is the coating
applied to the heating elements to prevent any corrosion during transit.

Before the first time you use your Heated Airer
Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
Ensure all parts are present - see Description of parts above.
Check that there is no damage to the mains cable or product.
WARNING! Ensure that the Mains Cable (6) does not get trapped in the airer whilst
unfolding or folding it closed for storage.

Preparing your Heated Airer
1. Place the Heated Airer on solid level surface in a suitable area,
allowing enough space for access around it.
Open the airer Frame (1) by swinging out
the two support legs as shown right:
2. Fold down each half of the Top Heated Tier
(2) until it is locked in the hook and horizontal
as shown below right:
4. Repeat the above process for the
Middle Heated Tier (3) and the Lower
Heated Tier (4) until the Heated Airer

Using Your Heated Airer
1. After preparing your Heated Airer, insert the mains plug
into the nearest socket outlet and switch the socket on (if
applicable).
2. Press the On/Off Switch (5) to the
ON ‘I’ position to operate the Heated
Airer, the switch will illuminate and
the rails of the heated tiers will begin
to warm up. Press the switch to OFF
‘O’ position to switch off the airer.
3. After a short time (approximately 5 minutes) the Heated Airer will reach its
operating temperature and is ready for use.
4. After use switch off the Heated Airer by pressing the On/Off Switch (5) to the ‘O’
position, and unplug from the mains.
5. Before storage, allow the unit to cool.
6. Fold up the Heated Airer following the reverse procedure as above and store in a
cool dry place.
Do not overload the Heated Airer, the maximum load per tier is 10kg.
Care and Use of your Heated Airer
Always disconnect the Airer from the mains power supply and allow to cool
before cleaning.
Clean outside of the Airer with a clean damp cloth. Never clean with harsh or
abrasive cleaners.
Do not submerge any part of Airer in water or any other liquids.

Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead
and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one
(conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified
electrician. Never use a plug with the fuse cover missing.
If you need to remove the plug – DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS – and then cut it
off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse
the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock.
