Training
1. Read, understand, and follow all instructions
on the machine and in the manual(s) before
attempting to assemble and operate.
Keep this manual in a safe place for future
and regular reference and for ordering
replacement parts.
2. Be familiar with all controls and their proper
operation. Know how to stop the machine
and disengage them quickly.
3. Never allow children under 14 years of
age to operate this machine. Children 14
and over should read and understand the
instructions and safe operation practices
in this manual and on the machine and be
trained and supervised by an adult.
4. Never allow adults to operate this machine
without proper instruction.
5. Keep the area of operation clear of all
persons, particularly small children and
pets. Stop machine if anyone enters the
area.
Preparation
1. Thoroughly inspect the area where the
equipment is to be used. Remove all stones,
sticks, wire, and other foreign objects which
could be tripped over and cause personal
injury.
2. Wear sturdy, rough-soled work shoes and
close fitting slacks and shirt. Loose fitting
clothes or jewelry can be caught in moving
parts. Never operate this machine in bare
feet or sandals.
3. Disengage clutch levers and shift (if
provided) into neutral (“N”) before starting
the engine.
4. Never leave this machine unattended with
the engine running.
5. Never attempt to make any adjustments
while engine is running, except where
specifically recommended in the operator’s
manual.
Operation
1. Do not put hands or feet near rotating
parts. Contact with the rotating parts can
amputate hands and feet.
2. Do not operate machine while under the
influence of alcohol or drugs.
3. Never operate this machine without good
visibility or light. Always be sure of your
footing and keep a firm hold on the handles.
4. Do not operate this machine on gravel
surfaces, because it will damage the aerator
spoons.
5. Keep bystanders away from the machine
while it is in operation. Stop the machine if
anyone enters the area.
6. Be careful when aerating in hard ground.
The aeartor assembly may catch in the
ground and propel the aerator forward. If
this occurs, let go of the drive control and
do not restrain the machine.
7. Exercise extreme caution when crossing
gravel surfaces. Push down on the handle
bars so that the plugs are raised off the
ground when crossing hard surfaces. Stay
alert for hidden hazards or traffic. Do not
carry passengers.
8. Never operate the machine at high
transport speeds on hard or slippery
surfaces.
9. Exercise caution to avoid slipping or falling.
10. Look down and behind and use care when
in reverse or pulling machine towards you.
11. Start the engine according to the
instructions found in the FLEX™ Power Base
manual and keep feet well away from the
aerator assembly at all times.
12. After striking a foreign object, stop the
engine, disconnect the spark plug wire and
ground against the engine. Thoroughly
inspect the machine for any damage. Repair
the damage before starting and operating.
13. Stop the engine before you leave the
operating position (behind the handles).
Wait until the aerator assembly comes to
a complete stop before unclogging the
aerator assembly, making any adjustments,
or inspections.
14. Never run an engine indoors or in a poorly
ventilated area. Engine exhaust contains
carbon monoxide, an odorless and deadly
gas.
15. Muffler and engine become hot and can
cause a burn. Do not touch.
16. Use caution when aerating near fences,
buildings and underground utilities.
Rotating aerator assembly can cause
property damage or personal injury.
17. Do not overload machine capacity by
attempting to aerate soil too deep at too
fast of a rate.
18. If the machine should start making an
unusual noise or vibration, stop the engine,
disconnect the spark plug wire and ground
it against the engine. Inspect thoroughly for
damage. Repair any damage before starting
and operating.
19. Keep all shields, guards, and safety devices
in place and operating properly.
20. Never pick up or carry machine while the
engine is running.
21. Use only attachments and accessories
approved by the manufacturer. Failure to do
so can result in personal injury.
22. Do not use the tray of the attachment
to carry objects other than secured
counterweights. Objects could fall off and
be contacted by the aerator spoons.

Maintenance & Storage
1. Keep machine, attachments and accessories
in safe working order.
2. Allow a machine to cool at least five minutes
before storing. Never tamper with safety
devices. Check their proper operation
regularly.
3. Check bolts and screws for proper tightness
at frequent intervals to keep the machine
in safe working condition. Also, visually
inspect machine for any damage.
4. Before cleaning, repairing, or inspecting,
stop the engine and make certain the
aerator assembly and all moving parts have
stopped. Disconnect the spark plug wire
and ground it against the engine to prevent
unintended starting.
5. Do not change the engine governor settings
or over-speed the engine. The governor
controls the maximum safe operating speed
of engine.
6. Maintain or replace safety and instruction
labels, as necessary.
7. Follow this manual for safe loading,
unloading, transporting, and storage of this
machine.
8. Always refer to the operator’s manual for
important details if the machine is to be
stored for an extended period.
9. According to the Consumer Products
Safety Commission (CPSC) and the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),
this product has an Average Useful Life of
seven (7) years, or 130 hours of operation.
At the end of the Average Useful Life have
the machine inspected annually by an
authorized service dealer to ensure that all
mechanical and safety systems are working
properly and not worn excessively. Failure
to do so can result in accidents, injuries or
death.

USE THIS SLOPE GAUGE TO DETERMINE
IF A SLOPE IS TOO STEEP FOR SAFE OPERATION!
To check the slope, proceed as follows:
1. Remove this page and fold along the dashed line.
2. Locate a vertical object on or behind the slope (e.g. a pole, building, fence, tree, etc.)
3. Align either side of the slope gauge with the object (See Figure 1 and Figure 2 ).
4. Adjust gauge up or down until the left corner touches the slope (See Figure 1 and Figure 2).
5. If there is a gap below the gauge, the slope is too steep for safe operation (See Figure 2).
WARNING! Slopes are a major factor related to tip-over and roll-over accidents which can result in severe injury or death.
Do not operate machine on slopes in excess of 10 degrees. All slopes require extra caution. If you cannot back up the slope or if you feel uneasy on it, do not aerate it. Always aerate
across the face of slopes, never up and down slopes.

Engine
Refer to the FLEX™ Power Base Operator’s Manual
for details regarding all engine-related controls and
features.
Drive Control Lever
This lever propels the entire machine forward.
Tray
The tray acts as a frame securing the tine assembly
to the attachment chassis, and provides a platform
to securely carry weight. No more than 90 lb. of
weight should be added to the tray.
Aerator Spoon Assembly
Removes plugs of soil up to 2 1/2 in. deep, allowing
penetration of water and nutrients for a healthier
lawn. It also helps reduce soil compacting.

Starting and Stopping the Engine
Start and stop the engine on the FLEX™ Power Base
in accordance with the Operator’s Manual included
with that machine.
WARNING! If leaving this equipment
unattended turn the engine OFF and
remove the ignition key.
Connecting to the FLEX™ Power Base
NOTE: All references to the left or right side are from
the operator’s position. Any exceptions will be noted.
1. Roll the FLEX™ Power Base over to the
aerator attachment with the kickstand UP.
See Figure 4-2.

2. Roll the FLEX™ Power Base forward and tip
it up, engaging the top part of the aerator
attachment with the handle mount provided
on the FLEX™ Power Base (1 of Figure 4-3).

Unpack Aerator
WARNING! This attachment weighs
53 lb. and requires two people to lift it.
WARNING! Spoons are sharp. Keep

1. Open carton completely by cutting each
corner from top to bottom.
2. Remove the FLEX™ Aerator Attachment,
literature, any of the protective coverings
on the aerator spoons, and any cardboard
inserts included with the aerator.

This unit is fully assembled and requires no setup.

3. Tip the FLEX™ Power Base backwards to
engage the two bottom connection points (2
and 3 of Figure 4-3).
Note: The operator will be able to hear the
lower mounts engage and lock (latching
sound) when coupled properly. To test if
coupled properly, lift up on the handles. If
the unit comes apart, the connection was not
made. Ensure that the kickstand is still in the
UP position, and swiftly tip the FLEX™ Power
Base backward with the top mount engaged.

1. The kickstand acts only as a locking device
for the attachment to the FLEX™ Power Base.
The only time the operator would need
to deploy the kickstand once connected
to an attachment would be in the case of
uncoupling the FLEX™ Power Base from the
attachment.
Aerating
WARNING! Spoons are sharp. Keep
hands and feet away from spoons.
Proper operation will help you maintain your lawn.
Aerating allows for better water absorption and
healthier grass. The following information is helpful
when operating your aerator.
Note: The attachment control lever on the right
handle of the FLEX™ Power Base is not used in the
operation of this machine. See Engaging the Drive
on page 7.
• In ideal conditions the aerator will remove
approximately 2 1/2 in. deep plugs.
• Never use the aerator on fresh sod. Usage
should be reserved for fully developed grass
plots.
• It is recommended to wait until it rains or your
lawn has been watered to aerate.
• Ideally the soil should be soft, but will still
break apart into small plugs.
Engaging the Drive
1. Start the engine as instructed in the FLEX™
Power Base Operator’s Manual.
2. To travel FORWARD, slowly squeeze the drive
control lever against the handle grip and the
unit will move forward. Release it and drive
motion will stop.
3. Maintain a speed of approximately 3 mph; the
aerator will pull plugs as you drive.
Warning! If you strike a foreign object,
stop the engine and remove the ignition
key. Thoroughly inspect the machine for
any damage. Repair any damage before
restarting and operating equipment.
WARNING! Avoid sudden starts,
excessive speed and sudden stops.
Operating on Slopes
Refer to the SLOPE GAUGE on page 5 of the Safe
Operation Practices section to determine how to
properly operate the aerator on slopes.
WARNING! Do not aerate on inclines
with a slope in excess of 10° (a rise of
approximately 2 feet every 10 feet).
The unit could overturn and cause
serious injury.
• Aerate across the face of slopes; never up and
down.
• Exercise extreme caution when changing
direction on slopes.
• Watch for holes, ruts, rocks, hidden objects, or
bumps. Tall grass can hide obstacles.
• Always be sure of your footing. A slip and fall
can cause serious personal injury. Be sure you
can control the machine.
• Do not aerate near drop-offs, ditches or
embankments; you could lose your balance
or footing.

General Recommendations
Regular maintenance will improve the performance
and extend the life of the aerator. Some adjustments
will need to be made periodically to properly
maintain your aerator. Follow the requirements in
the Maintenance Schedule.
When performing any maintenance or adjustments
on this equipment, always take proper safety
precautions. Wear safety glasses and protective
gloves.
This aerator’s warranty does not cover items
that have been subjected to operator abuse or
negligence. To receive full value from the warranty,
the operator must maintain the aerator as instructed
in this manual, including proper storage as detailed
in the Long Term Storage section on page 8.
Due to the difference in weight between the FLEX™
Power Base and the aerator, add and secure weight
to the aerator tray in order to better balance the
unit from front to back. Also, you may need to
add weight to achieve the 2 1/2 in. plug depth.
Cinder blocks are recommended. The maximum
recommended weight is 90 lb. See Figure 5-1.

Aerator Spoon Replacement
Check the aerator spoon fasteners (carriage screw
and hex nut), before each use. Using the aerator
may, over time, result in the need to replace
individual aerator spoons due to wear. To replace
aerator spoons:
1. Tilt the machine backward so that the aerator
assembly is off the ground.
2. Remove the hex bolts (a) and nuts (b) on each
end of the axle (c), and carefully remove the
axle from the center, to access the aerator
assembly (d). See Figure 5-4.

3. Install new aerator assembly and secure it
with the axle, hex bolts and nuts removed in
step 2.
4. Tighten hex bolts and nuts.
Short Term Storage
WARNING! Spoons are sharp. Keep
hands and feet away from spoons.
It is important to clean the aerator spoon assembly
after each use before storing. Debris can quickly
accumulate around the spoons. Keep area around
and behind muffler free from any combustible
debris.
• Use a damp cloth to wipe exterior surface
clean.
• DO NOT insert any objects through cooling
slots on the FLEX™ Power Base.
• Use a soft bristle brush to loosen caked on
dirt, oil, etc.
CAUTION: Improper treatment of aerator could
damage it and shorten its life.
Long Term Storage
If you plan to store the aerator for an extended
period of time lightly coat aerator spoons with oil,
and lubricate aerator assembly pivot points.
2. Remove the carriage screw (a) and nut (b).
See Figure 5-2.

3. Rotate the spoon until the hook tab is free
of hindrance from the assembly. Then pull it
straight up to remove it. See Figure 5-3.

4. Install new aerator spoon by first securing
the hook tab in the hole toward the center of
the aerator assembly, then securing it with the
carriage screw and nut removed in step 2.
5. Tighten the carriage screw and nut.
Aerator Assembly Replacement
Using the aerator may, over time, result in the need
to replace components on the aerator assembly
axle. To make these changes remove the axle:
1. Tilt the machine backward so that the
aerator assembly is off the ground and easily
accessible.

5. Any expendable, consumable, or routine maintenance item which
needs replacement or service as part of normal maintenance, unless
such items have defects that cause failure or premature wear within
the first thirty (30) days. Where applicable, normal wear items include
but are not limited to, blades, tires, belts, filters, fuses, hoses, where
applicable, and other consumable items.
6. Any Attachment that has been altered or modified in a manner not
consistent with the original design of the product or in a manner not
otherwise approved by Troy-Bilt LLC.
7. Paint repairs or replacements for defective paint (including materials
and application) are covered for a period of three (3) months.
8. Wheel rims are covered for a period of three (3) months for
manufacturing defects.
9. The FLEX Power Base is covered by a separate limited warranty which
is contained in the operator’s manual for the FLEX Power Base.
This warranty does not cover and Troy-Bilt LLC disclaims any
responsibility for:
1. Loss of time or loss of use of the Attachment.
2. Transportation costs and other expenses incurred in connection with
the transport of the Attachment to and from the authorized Troy-Bilt
service provider.
3. Any loss or damage to other equipment or personal items.
4. Damage caused by performance or use of the Attachment in
connection with any product other than the FLEX Power Base.
Limitations:
1. THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED
TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO WARRANTY APPLIES AFTER THE APPLICABLE
WARRANTY PERIOD AS SET FORTH ABOVE AS TO THE PARTS AS
IDENTIFIED. NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTY, WHETHER

The limited warranty set forth herein is given by Troy-Bilt LLC to the Initial
Purchaser (as defined herein) with respect to a new Troy-Bilt-branded FLEX
attachment product consisting of either a (i) wide area mower, (ii) snow-
thrower, (iii) pressure washer, (iv) leaf blower, (v) dethatcher, (vi), aerator, or
(vii) water pump (referred to hereafter as the “Attachment”) to be used with
the FLEX Power Base. This limited warranty does not cover Emission Control
Systems and is not a Federal Emission Control Warranty Statement as defined
by U.S. federal law. Please refer to the Federal Emission Control Warranty
Statement in the operator’s manual for the FLEX Power Base product (“Power
Base”) for warranties covering Emission Control Systems.
Scope of the Limited Warranty
Troy-Bilt LLC offers the following limited warranty to the Initial Purchaser for
residential or otherwise non-commercial use of the Attachment on the FLEX
Power Base: except for the Exclusions (defined herein), during the Warranty
Period (defined herein), the Attachment will be free from manufacturing
defects (including workmanship and materials). The “Initial Purchaser” is the
first person to purchase a new Attachment from an authorized Troy-Bilt dealer,
distributor and/or retailer of such attachment products. This limited warranty
is non-transferrable. Except as otherwise set forth herein, the limited warranty
period for this new Attachment purchased by the Initial Purchaser is two (2)
years from the date of purchase as shown on the original sales receipt for the
Attachment (“Warranty Period”).
Defects in Workmanship or Materials
Except for the Exclusions, the Attachment is warranted to be free from
manufacturing defects in either workmanship or materials for the Warranty
Period. During the Warranty Period, Troy-Bilt LLC will, at its option, either
repair or replace any original part that is covered by this limited warranty and
is determined to be defective in workmanship or material.
To qualify for this limited warranty the Attachment:
1. Must have been purchased from an authorized Troy-Bilt retailer.
2. Must have been purchased within the United States by the Initial
Purchaser.
3. Must have been used for residential or otherwise non-commercial
purposes.
4. Must have been used in a manner consistent with the normal and
proper intended use for the Attachment. This Attachment is not
intended for rental or commercial use.
Who can perform repairs under this warranty?
In order to qualify for the limited warranty as set forth herein, the repairs made
under this warranty must be performed by an authorized Troy-Bilt service
provider.

This limited warranty does not cover the following (the “Exclusions”):
1. Attachment purchased outside of the United States.
2. Damage due to lack of maintenance and/or improper maintenance as
described in the operator’s manual.
3. Normal wear and tear resulting from use of the Attachment.
4. Use of the Attachment that is not consistent with the intended use
thereof as described in the operating instructions, including, but not
limited to, abuse, misuse and/or neglect of the Attachment or any use

Capacitación

Preparativos

Funcionamiento
1. No coloque las manos ni los pies cerca de las

Mantenimiento y almacenamiento
1. Mantenga la máquina y accesorios en condiciones
de uso seguro.
2. Deje que la máquina se enfríe por lo menos
cinco minutos antes de guardarla. Nunca
altere los dispositivos de seguridad. Controle
periódicamente que funcionen correctamente.
3. Controle a intervalos frecuentes que los pernos y
tornillos estén bien apretados para mantener la
máquina en condiciones de uso seguro. Además,
haga inspecciones visuales de la máquina para
verificar si sufrió algún daño.
4. Antes de limpiar, reparar o inspeccionar la

enganchar los dos puntos de conexión inferiores (2
y 3 en la Figura 4-3).
Nota: El operador podrá oír cuando se enganchan y
traban (sonido de enganche) los montajes inferiores
si se acopla correctamente. Para probar si se acopló
correctamente, tire de las manijas hacia arriba. Si
la unidad se separa, significa que no se estableció
la conexión. Verifique que la pata de cabra siga
estando hacia ARRIBA e incline rápidamente la
base de potencia FLEX™ hacia atrás con el montaje
superior enganchado.

1. La pata de cabra actúa únicamente como traba para
el accesorio a la base de potencia FLEX™. El único
momento en que el operador necesitaría hacer
uso de la pata de cabra una vez conectado a un
accesorio, sería para desacoplar la base de potencia
FLEX™ del accesorio.
Aireación
¡ADVERTENCIA! Los pinchos pueden estar

alejados de los pinchos.
La operación adecuada le permitirá mantener su césped. La
aireación permite absorber mejor el agua y el pasto crece
más saludable. La siguiente información le resultará útil
para operar el aireador.
Nota: La palanca de control del accesorio en la base de
potencia FLEX™ no se usa para el funcionamiento de esta
máquina. Vea Engaging the Drive on page 7.
• En condiciones ideales el aireador extrae terrones
de aproximadamente 2 1/2 pulgadas.
• No utilice nunca el aireador sobre grama nueva. El
uso debe estar reservado para parcelas de grama
completamente desarrollada.
• Se recomienda esperar hasta que llueva o haber
regado el césped antes de airear.
• Lo ideal es que el suelo este blando, pero que
se siga desarmando en terrones pequeños. Si el
suelo mantiene su estructura, como barro, está
demasiado húmedo.
Activación de la transmisión
1. Encienda el motor como se indica en el manual del
operador de la base de potencia FLEX™.
2. Para desplazarse HACIA ADELANTE, oprima
lentamente la palanca de control de la transmisión
contra la empuñadura de la manija y la unidad se
desplazará hacia adelante. Suéltela y se detendrá el
movimiento de la transmisión.
3. Mantenga una velocidad de aproximadamente a 3
millas por hora; el aireador desenterrará terrones
mientras usted conduce.
¡Advertencia! Si golpea un objeto extraño,
detenga el motor y saque la llave de
encendido. Inspeccione minuciosamente la
máquina para ver si está dañada. Repare

Funcionamiento en pendientes

con una inclinación superior a 10° (una

Recomendaciones generales
El mantenimiento periódico mejora el rendimiento y
extiende la vida útil del aireador. Hay que realizar algunos
ajustes periódicamente para mantener adecuadamente
el aireador. Siga los requisitos del Programa de
Mantenimiento.
Al realizar cualquier mantenimiento o ajustes en este
equipo, siempre tome las precauciones de seguridad
adecuadas. Use anteojos de seguridad y guantes de
protección.
La garantía de este aireador no cubre elementos que han
estado sujetos a uso indebido o negligencia por parte del
operador. Para obtener el valor máximo de la garantía, el
operador debe mantener el aireador como se indica en
este manual, incluido el almacenamiento adecuado como
se detalla en la sección Almacenamiento a largo plazo en
la página 8.
Debido a la diferencia de peso entre la base de potencia
FLEX™ y el escarificador, debe agregar pesas a la bandeja
del aireador y sujetarlo con el fin de equilibrar mejor

Mantenimiento del aireador
¡ADVERTENCIA! Los pinchos pueden estar
afilados. Mantenga las manos y los pies
alejados de los pinchos.
Reemplazo de los pinchos del aireador
Controle las sujeciones de los pinchos del aireador (tornillo
de carro y tuerca hexagonal) antes de cada uso. El uso del
aireador puede, con el tiempo, hacer necesario reponer
pinchos individuales del aireador por el desgaste. Para
reemplazar los pinchos del aireador:
1. Incline la máquina hacia atrás para separar del suelo
el dispositivo aireador y acceder a él fácilmente.
2. Extraiga los bulones hexagonales (a) y las tuercas (b)
de cada extremo del eje (c) y extraiga con cuidado
el eje del centro, para acceder al dispositivo aireador
(d). Vea la Figura 5-4.

3. Instale el nuevo dispositivo aireador y sujételo con
el eje, los bulones hexagonales y las tuercas que se
sacaron en el paso 2.
4. Ajuste los bulones hexagonales y las tuercas.
Almacenamiento a corto plazo
¡ADVERTENCIA! Los pinchos pueden estar
afilados. Mantenga las manos y los pies
alejados de los pinchos.
Es importante limpiar el conjunto de pinchos del aireador
después de cada uso y antes de guardarlo. Los residuos se
pueden acumular rápidamente alrededor de los pinchos.
Mantenga el área que rodea al silenciador y que está detrás
del mismo libre de cualquier residuo combustible.
• Utilice un paño húmedo para repasar la superficie
exterior.
• NO inserte ningún objeto a través de las ranuras de
refrigeración de la base de potencia FLEX™.
• Utilice un cepillo de cerdas suaves para aflojar
suciedad endurecida, aceite, etc.
PRECAUCIÓN: El trato indebido del aireador puede dañarlo
y reducir su vida útil.
Almacenamiento a largo plazo
Si tiene pensado guardar el aireador por un período de
tiempo prolongado cubra los pinchos del aireador con una
capa fina de aceite.
1. Incline la unidad ligeramente hacia atrás para que el
dispositivo aireador se separe del suelo.
2. Extraiga el tornillo de carro (a) y la tuerca (b). Vea
Figure 5-2.

3. Gire el pincho hasta que la lengüeta del gancho se
libera del dispositivo. Luego sáquelo hacia arriba
para retirarlo. Vea la Figura 5-3.

4. Instale el pincho nuevo del aireador asegurando
primero la lengüeta del gancho en el orificio
hacia el centro del dispositivo aireador y luego
asegurándola con el tornillo de carro y la tuerca
extraída en el paso 2.
5. Ajuste el tornillo de carro y la tuerca.
Reemplazo del dispositivo aireador
El uso del aireador puede, con el tiempo, hacer necesario
reponer componentes del eje del dispositivo aireador. Para
realizar estos cambios extraiga el eje:

5. Los artículos desechables, consumibles o de mantenimiento de rutina que
requieren reparaciones o mantenimiento como parte del mantenimiento
normal, a menos que tales artículos presenten defectos que ocasionen
fallas o un desgaste prematuro dentro de los primeros treinta (30) días. De
corresponder, los artículos de desgaste normal incluyen, a título de ejemplo,
las cuchillas, los neumáticos, las correas, los filtros, los fusibles, las mangueras,
si corresponde, y otros artículos consumibles
6. Cualquier Accesorio que haya sido alterado o modificado de una manera que
no sea coherente con el diseño original del producto o de una manera no
aprobada de alguna otra manera por Troy-Bilt LLC.
7. Las reparaciones en concepto de pintura o los reemplazos por defectos en la
pintura (que incluyen los materiales y la aplicación) están cubiertos por un
período de tres (3) meses.
8. Las llantas de ruedas están cubiertas por un período de tres (3) meses por
defectos de fabricación.
9. La base de potencia FLEX está cubierta por una garantía limitada separada
que se incluye en el manual del operador de la base de potencia FLEX.
La presente garantía no cubre y Troy-Bilt LLC rechaza todo tipo de
responsabilidad respecto de:
1. Pérdida de tiempo o pérdida de uso del Accesorio.
2. Costos de transporte y otros gastos incurridos en relación con el transporte
del Accesorio desde y hacia el proveedor de reparaciones y mantenimiento
Troy-Bilt autorizado.
3. Cualquier pérdida o daño a otros equipos o elementos personales.
4. Daños ocasionados por el rendimiento o el uso del Accesorio con cualquier
producto que no sea la Base de potencia Flex.
Limitaciones:

NINGUNA OTRA GARANTÍA EXPRESA, YA SEA ORAL O ESCRITA, EXCEPTO
LA MENCIONADA ANTERIORMENTE, EXTENDIDA POR PERSONAS FÍSICAS O
JURÍDICAS, INCLUIDOS LOS DISTRIBUIDORES O MINORISTAS RESPECTO DE
CUALQUIER PRODUCTO, VINCULARÁ A TROY-BILT LLC. DURANTE EL PERÍODO
DE GARANTÍA, EL ÚNICO RECURSO SERÁ LA REPARACIÓN O EL REEMPLAZO
DE LA PIEZA DEFECTUOSA, SEGÚN LO ESTABLECIDO PRECEDENTEMENTE.
(ALGUNOS ESTADOS NO PERMITEN LA LIMITACIÓN DE LA DURACIÓN DE LAS

TRANSITORIAMENTE UN PRODUCTO CUBIERTO POR LA GARANTÍA.

3. En ningún caso se obtendrá una compensación mayor al monto del precio
de compra del producto vendido. La alteración de las características de
seguridad del producto anulará esta garantía limitada. Usted asume el
riesgo y la responsabilidad por las pérdidas, daños o lesiones personales o
materiales propios o de terceros que surjan del uso indebido o la incapacidad
de usar este producto.
Relación de la ley estadual con esta garantía:
Esta garantía limitada le otorga derechos legales específicos, pero usted podría gozar

La garantía limitada que se estable en el presente documento es otorgada por Troy-
Bilt LLC al Comprador Inicial (como se define en este documento) en relación con el
nuevo accesorio FLEX Troy-Bilt que está integrado por ya sea una (i) cortadora para
superficies amplias, (ii) quitanieve, (iii) lavadora a presión, (iv) soplador de hojas, (v)
escarificador, (vi) aireador, o (vii) bomba de agua (identificado en adelante como el
"Accesorio") que se usará con la base de potencia FLEX La presente garantía limitada
no cubre los Sistemas de control de emisiones y no constituye una Declaración de
garantía del control de las emisiones federal según lo definido por las leyes federales
de los Estados Unidos. Consulte la Declaración de garantía del control de las
emisiones federal que se incluye en el manual del operador de la base de potencia
FLEX ("Base de potencia") para conocer las garantías que cubren los Sistemas de
control de emisiones.
Alcance de la Garantía limitada
Troy-Bilt LLC ofrece la siguiente garantía limitada al Comprador Inicial para uso
residencial u otro tipo de uso no comercial del Accesorio de la base de potencia
FLEX: excepto por las Exclusiones (como se definen en el presente documento),
durante el Período de la Garantía (como se define en el presente documento), el
Accesorio estará libre de defectos de fabricación (que incluyen la mano de obra y
los materiales). El “Comprador inicial” es la primera persona en adquirir un nuevo
Accesorio a un representante, distribuidor y/o minorista Troy-Bilt autorizado del
mencionado accesorio. La garantía limitada es intransferible. Excepto que se
disponga lo contrario en el presente documento, el período de la garantía limitada
para este nuevo Accesorio adquirido por el Comprador inicial es de dos (2) años a
partir de la fecha de la compra, como se indica en el comprobante de ventas original
correspondiente al Accesorio (“Período de la Garantía”).
Defectos en la mano de obra o en los materiales
Excepto por las Exclusiones, se garantiza que el Accesorio estará libre de defectos de
fabricación en la mano de obra o los materiales durante el Período de la Garantía.
Durante el Período de la Garantía, Troy-Bilt LLC reparará o reemplazará, a su juicio,
cualquier pieza original que esté cubierta por la presente garantía limitada y que se
determine que presenta algún defecto en la mano de obra o los materiales.
Para tener derecho a esta garantía limitada, el Accesorio:
1. Debe haberse adquirido a un minorista Troy-Bilt autorizado.
2. Debe haberse adquirido por el Comprador Inicial dentro del territorio de los
Estados Unidos.
3. Debe haberse usado únicamente para fines residenciales u otro tipo de uso
no comercial.
4. Debe haberse usado de una manera coherente con el uso normal y adecuado
para el que fue diseñado el Accesorio. El Accesorio no está diseñado para
arrendamiento ni para uso comercial.
¿Quién puede realizar reparaciones en virtud de la presente garantía?
A fin de reunir los requisitos para la garantía limitada según lo establecido en el
presente documento, las reparaciones realizadas en virtud de esta garantía debe
llevarlas a cabo un proveedor de reparaciones y mantenimiento Troy-Bilt autorizado.

Lo que no cubre la presente garantía limitada.
La presente garantía limitada no cubre lo siguiente (las “Exclusiones”):
1. Los Accesorios adquiridos fuera del territorio de los Estados Unidos.
2. Los daños producidos por la falta de mantenimiento y/o un mantenimiento
inadecuado, según se describe en el manual del operador.
3. El desgaste normal producto del uso del Accesorio.
4. El uso del Accesorio que no sea coherente con el uso para el que fue diseñado
según se describe en las instrucciones de funcionamiento, que incluye, a
título de ejemplo, el uso abusivo, inadecuado y/o negligente del Accesorio o
cualquier uso que no sea coherente con las instrucciones que se incluyen en
el Manual del Operador y/o no cumpla con ellas.
