• DO NOT use this heater with a programmer, timer,
separate remote-control system or any other device that

corresponds with that of the local network before
connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.

ONCE ASSEMBLED ALLOW THE RADIATOR TO STAND UPRIGHT
FOR ONE HOUR TO ALLOW FOR THE OIL TO SETTLE
THIS RADIATOR MUST ONLY BE OPERATED IN THE UPRIGHT
POSITION WITH THE CASTORS FITTED.
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
This appliance has been ERP classified as a portable space heater and should
only be used for supplementary, secondary or temporary heating. It should not
be considered for primary permanent heating in a room or dwelling.
During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odour
and a little smoke. This is normal and will quickly disappear, It is the coating
applied to the heating elements to prevent any corrosion during transit.
This heater is filled with a precise quantity of special oil. Repairs requiring
opening of the oil container are only to be made by the manufacturer.
Whilst scrapping the heater, follow the regulations concerning the disposal of oil.

Safety Tip-Over Switch
This Oil Filled Radiator is fitted with built in safety Tip-Over Switch. If the radiator
is knocked over or not placed on a level surface the appliance will automatically
switch off.
Should the Safety Tip-Over Switch activate, remove the plug from the mains
socket and check for any damage.
If no damage has occurred, allow the radiator to stand upright for one hour to
allow for the oil to settle before use.
This designates a hazard with moderate risk, which may result in
severe injury if not adhered to.

Before the first time you use your Oil Filled Radiator
Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
Ensure that all parts are present before assembling your Oil Filled Radiator – see
Description of Parts above.
Assembling Your Oil Filled Radiator
1. Place protective material (such as cardboard) on the floor to prevent scratching
or damage to the appliance.
2. Turn the radiator upside down onto the material ensuring that it is stable.
The oil inside the radiator will be heard to settle inside this is quite normal.
3. Attach the Castors (6) to the Wheel Plates (7 & 8) using the Domed nuts (5)
supplied (arrowed below), tighten with a suitable spanner (not supplied):
4. Remove the Wing Nuts (11) from one the U-Bolts (10) and loop it between the
first and second Radiant Fins (9) next to the control housing, attach the Angled
Wheel Plate (7-above) using the Wing Nuts (11) as in the image below, taking
care not to overtighten:

5. Remove the Wing Nuts (11) from the other U-Bolt (10) and loop it between the
end and next to the Radiant Fins (9). Attach the Straight Wheel Plate (8)
(above) using the Wing Nuts (11) as in the image below, taking care not to
overtighten:
6. Once the Castors (6) are attached invert the radiator the correct way up onto its
Castors (6) and place into the desired position ensuring that it is stable and
vertical. The oil inside the radiator will be heard to settle inside this is quite
normal.

Using Your Oil Filled Radiator
1. Insert the mains plug into the nearest socket and
switch the socket on (if applicable).
2. Press the Mains Switch (3) on the side of
the radiator to the ‘I’ on position, the
switch will illuminate as shown left:
3. The radiator will beep to confirm it is switch
on and in standby. The Power Indicator (22)
will illuminate on the top left of the LED
Display (2) to confirm it is connected to mains
power as shown right:
4. Press the On/Standby Button (16) on the
bottom right of the LED Display (2) to
power up the radiator as shown left.
5. The radiator will power up in Low Heat
Mode and the set temperature will default
to 25⁰C on the Digital Display (12).
The Centigrade Indicator (13) will illuminate
to show the Digital Display (12) is showing
the set temperature.

Setting the Temperature
6. Press the Increase + Button (17) and/or the
Decrease – button (19) to set the desired
Temperature from 15 to 35⁰C.
The Set Temperature Indicator (21) will
illuminate to show the Digital Display (12)
is showing the set temperature.
Whilst setting the temperature the heat
mode will change with the increase and
decrease of the temperature set, however,
the heat mode can be set independently as
follows:

7. Press the Heat Mode Button (18) to select from three heat settings which
are shown on the Heat Mode Indicators (15) across the middle of the LED
Display (2) as shown below:
The Heat Mode Indicators (15) will go on and off during use to show that the
set temperature is being maintained, this is quite normal.

Powering Down/Switching Off the Radiator
8. To power down the radiator, press the
On/Standby Button (16) to return the
radiator to standby mode.
9. However, If the radiator is not to be used
for while or it is to be left unattended, it is
recommended that the heater is fully
switched off by pressing the Mains Switch
(3) to the ‘O’ off position as shown left:
Using the Timer
The Timer can be used to switch the radiator off after period of up to 24 hours.
Before using the timer, Ensure the radiator is switched on at the Mains Switch (3)
and the On/Standby Button (16) is pressed to take the radiator out of standby.
Set the temperature and heating mode as described above.
Setting the Timer
Press the Timer Button (20), the Digital
Display (12) will flash ‘00’ and the ‘H’
Timer Indicator (14) will illuminate to
show the Digital Display (12) is showing
the Timer.
Press the Increase + Button (17) and/or
the Decrease – button (19) to set the
desired time from 1 to 24 hours in one
hour increments.
The Digital Display (12) will stop flashing
and the radiator will switch off once the
set time has elapsed.
Whilst using the radiator in timer mode, due consideration must be given to the
fact that the heater may come on whilst unattended.

Using the Remote Control (23)
The Remote Control (23) duplicates all the functions on the LED
Display (2) as described above.
1. Slide the Battery compartment cover in the direction of the
arrow and remove.
2. Insert 2x 1.5V AAA Batteries (Not Supplied) being careful to
observe the polarity markings inside.
3. Replace the battery cover.
NB The Mains On/Off Switch (3) must be in the ‘I’ ‘on’ position for the Remote
Control (23) to operate.
• CAUTION: There is a danger of explosion if the batteries are incorrectly fitted.
• Ensure that the batteries are installed with the correct polarity.
• It is recommended that batteries are removed if the remote control is not to be
used for a long period of time to prevent corrosion due to battery leakage or if
the remote control is to be disposed of.
• Replace only with the same or equivalent battery type.
• Store batteries in a cool dry place.
• Do not expose batteries to sunshine, fire, heat or similar, never dispose of
batteries in a fire.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product and safely disposed
of.

WARNING!
• Do not ingest the batteries, Chemical Burn Hazard.

• If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and
keep it away from children.
• If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of
the body, seek immediate medical attention.
• If the batteries leak, remove them immediately to avoid damaging the product.
Do not remove the batteries with your bare hands or allow the battery fluid to
come into contact with your skin, eyes or mucous membranes. Wear normal
household gloves to do so. If, however, your skin has come into contact with
the battery fluid, wash your skin immediately, if necessary, seek medical
attention.
Care and Use of your Oil Filled Radiator
• Always disconnect the heater from the mains power supply and allow to cool
before cleaning.
• Clean outside of the heater with a clean damp cloth. Never clean with harsh or
abrasive cleaners.
• DO NOT submerge any part of the heater in water or any other liquids.
