You can view and edit the device name and the device language.

You can view the model, serial No., version, cameras, IO input, IO output, lock, RS-485, alarm input,

alarm output, and device capacity, etc.

9.6.3 Set Time

Set the device's me zone, synchronizaon mode, server address, NTP port, and interval.

Click Conguraon → System → System Sengs → Time Sengs .

Device Time

Display the device me in real me.

Time Zone

Select the device located me zone from the drop-down list.

Time Synchronizaon Mode

NTP

You should set the NTP server's IP address, port No., and interval.

Manual

By default, the device me should be synchronized manually. You can set the device me

manually or check Sync. with Computer Time to synchronize the device me with the

computer's me.

DST

You can enable DST, set and view the DST start me, end me and bias me.

9.6.4 Change Administrator's Password

Steps

Click Conguraon → User Management .

Click .

Enter the old password and create a new password.

Conrm the new password.

Click Save.

Cauon

The password strength of the device can be automacally checked. We highly recommend you

change the password of your own choosing (using a minimum of 8 characters, including at least

three kinds of following categories: upper case leers, lower case leers, numbers, and special

characters) in order to increase the security of your product. And we recommend you change

your password regularly, especially in the high security system, changing the password monthly

or weekly can beer protect your product.
