WARNING! DO NOT test batteries that
show evidence of leakage. If contact
with battery acid occurs, ush with
plenty of clean water and seek
immediate medical attention.
Important: DO NOT attempt to test batteries beyond
the voltage rated for this device. DO NOT operate this
product where explosive gases, vapours or dust may
be present.
Important: DO NOT attempt to modify, open or
dismantle this product. DO NOT use this product if it
is damaged in any way.
This product can be used to test the voltage of the
following batteries:
1.5V AAA, HP16, MN2400, R03
AA, HP7, MN1500, UM3
C, HP11, MN1400, SP11, LR14, UM2
D, HP2, MN1300, SP2 R20, UM1
3.7V 18650, 16340, 14500, 10440, 21700
9V PP3, MN1604, 6F22, 006P
Important: DO NOT use this product to test
lead acid batteries.
The product is activated when the battery is tested.
Ensure that both terminals are touching the
contacts and that the polarity is correct.
Keep test times as short as possible to avoid
unnecessary battery drain.
To determine the current voltage level, test the
battery and view the chart on the back of the
device. This is an approximate guide only.
9V Batteries
Touch the terminals against the contacts on the
side of the device.
Read the upper scale to determine the voltage.

Button Cells
Lift the arm and place the cell between the
two contacts.
Read the lower scale to determine the voltage.
Other Batteries
Lift the arm and place the cell between the two
contacts.
Read the upper scale to determine the voltage.
At the end of its working life, dispose of
the product responsibly and in line with
local regulations.
DO NOT dispose of this product with
domestic waste; most local authorities
provide appropriate recycling facilities.
