When using electrical appliances, these instructions and warnings should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons:
1. Make certain that the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of the Humidifier.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
3. Do not allow children to play with any product packaging, such as plastic bags.
4. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put the cord under rugs, near heat registers, radiator, stoves, or heaters.
5. DO NOT place humidifier near heat sources such as stoves, radiators, and heaters. Do locate your humidifier on an inside wall near an electrical outlet.
The humidifier should be at least 6 inches away from the wall for best results.
6. Do not attempt to refill humidifier without first unplugging the unit from it’s electrical outlet.
7. Never place anything over moisture outlet when the unit is running.
8. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
9. Use appliance only for intended household use. DO NOT use outdoors.
10. Always place humidifier on a firm, flat, level surface at least 24 inches away from the floor.
11. DO NOT allow the moisture outlet to directly face the wall.

13. NEVER tilt, move, or attempt to empty unit while it is operating.

no user serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
16. Do not plug in the cord with wet hands: electric shock could result.
17. NEVER use detergents, gasoline, glass cleaner, furniture polish, and paint thinner, or other household solvents to clean any part of the humidifier.
18. Do not pour water in any openings other than the water tank.
19. Excessive humidity in a room can cause water condensation on windows and some furniture. If this happens, turn the humidifier OFF.
20. Never place housing under water flow or immerse in liquids.
21. NEVER leave children unattended near the humidifier.
22. NEVER let children clean or do user maintenance without supervision.
23. Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.

25. DO NOT add water mist output, or it may damage the unit.
26. Where possible, avoid the use of extension cords. If you must use an extension cord, minimize the risk of overheating by using the shortest cord possible
and ensuring that it is UL Listed. NEVER use a single extension cord to operate more than one appliance
27. Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the Humidifier. Do not block or tamper with the Humidifier in any manner while it is in operation. NEVER tilt

WARNING
WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR PERSONAL INJURY, ALWAYS
FOLLOW THESE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS:
CAUTION
ALWAYS be sure the plug fits tightly into the outlet. When plugs fit loosely into outlets, they may slip partially out of the outlet and create a poor
connection. This may cause outlets to overheat and create a potential fire hazard. Outlets in this condition should be replaced by a qualified
electrician.
ALWAYS unplug the power cord when servicing, cleaning or moving the Humidifier. DO NOT use the ON/OFF switch as the sole means of dis-
connecting power. NEVER leave children unattended when the Humidifier is on or plugged in. ALWAYS turn off and unplug the Humidifier when
not in use.
BE CERTAIN that the power source for the Humidifier is 120V AC. DO NOT plug the Humidifier into 240V or other power source.
The Blue Plug
on your Lasko Humidifier is a safety feature. It contains a non-replaceable safety device (fuse) that should not be removed or
tampered with. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, DO NOT attempt to remove, replace, repair or tamper with the origi-
nally supplied plug. If the Humidifier has stopped functioning, it may be due to the safety device incorporated in this plug.
THIS HUMIDIFIER HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is designed to fit into the outlet only one way. Match
the wide blade to wide slot in outlet and FULLY INSERT. DO NOT attempt to bypass or defeat this safety feature. If the plug does not fit in the
outlet, consult a qualified electrician. The outlet may need to be replaced.
