Air Conditioner Controls
NOTE: The display
always shows the setting
temperature except
when in Fan Only mode.
Remote Control
NOTE: The default temperature reading on the display is degree Fahrenheit ( °F). To change the display to degree
Celcius (°C), press the Temp Increase + and Temp Decrease buttons together and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat the
process to change back to degree Fahrenheit (°F)
USING THE AIR CONDITIONER
Controls
Power Pad
Turns air conditioner on and off. When turned on,
the display will show the setting temperature. The
unit will initiate automatically the ECO function
under Cool, Dry, and Auto modes.
NOTE: If the unit shuts off unexpectedly due to
a power outage, it will restart with the previous
function setting automatically when the power
comes back on.
Display/Display Pad
The display on the unit shows the setting
temperature.
Display default behavior: The unit display will stay
on all the time if the Display pad on the remote
control is not pressed.
Press the Display pad on the remote control, the
display on the unit will turn off immediately. The
user interface on the unit will then illuminate for
5 seconds when any button is pressed on the
user interface or on the remote control. Press
the Display pad on the remote control again, the
display on the unit will revert back to the default
behavior.
Temp Increase + /Decrease – Pads

down. Press or hold either the Increase + /
Decrease – pads until the desired temperature
is shown on the display. This temperature will be
automatically maintained anywhere between 62°F
(17°C) and 86°F (30°C). If you want the display to
read the actual room temperature, see Fan Only
section.
Fan Pad
Press Fan pad to select the Fan speed - Auto,
Low, Med or High. Each time the pad is pressed,
the fan speed mode is shifted. For some models,
the fan speed can not be adjusted.
Mode Pad
To choose operating mode, press Mode pad.
Each time you press the pad, a mode is selected
in a sequence that goes from Auto, Cool,
Dry, and Fan. The indicator light beside will be
illuminated and remained on once the mode is
selected.
The unit will initiate automatically the Eco function
under Cool, Dry, and Auto modes.

Do Not Operate in Freezing Outdoor Conditions
This cool-only air conditioner was not designed for freezing outdoor conditions. It must not be used in freezing
outdoor conditions.
