Problem Cause Remedy
Unit does not pick up thatch 1. Unit height is set incorrectly. 1. Adjust wheel height to lower spring tines.
Unit pulls out live grass 1. Unit height is set incorrectly.
2. Spring tines are stuck in wet ground.
3. Grass is too high.
1. Adjust wheel height to raise spring tines.
2. Wait for ground to dry.
3. Mow before dethatching.
