3. Grille installation
1. Opentheintakegrillebypressingthe2tabsontheintakegrilletothedirection
indicatedbyarrows.(Fig.2)
Slidethe2shaftsinwardandremovetheintakegrillefromtheshafts.(Fig.3)
Removethesafetystringsfromthegrilleandremovetheintakegrille.(Fig.3)
2. Removethesidecoverxingscrewsonthebothsides.
Open the side covers L/R and remove the safety strings from the grille, then
removethesidecovers.(Fig.3)
3. Removethescrewcoveratthecenterofthegrille.(Fig.3)
4. Openthehorizontalvanesontheindoorunitcompletely.(Fig.4)
5. Attachthetemporaryholdingtabsonthegrilletothehooksontheindoorunit.(Fig.5)
6. Adjustthegrillesothatitisplacedparalleltotheceilingjoint.
Looselyinstallthe4xingscrews(2)nearthecorners.(Fig.5)
7. Tightenthexingscrews(2)andthexingscrew(3)atthemiddleofthegrille.(Fig.5)
8. Tightenthe4xingscrews(2)nearthecornersinstalledinstep6.
•Makesurethattherearenogapsbetweentheindoorunitandthegrille,orbetweenthegrilleand
theceilingsurface.
Otherwise, air may escape from the gap, resulting in water dripping from the indoor unit.

Note:Makesurethatthexingscrews(2)and(3)aretightenedcompletely.

Clearthegapbyadjustingtheinstallationheightoftheindoorunitwiththegrilleinstalled.(Fig.7)
