3.2.1 Set Camera Info

Customize specic informaon for the device. It may help idenfy a certain device when mulple

devices are under management.

Go to VCA → Set Applicaon → General Sengs → Camera Info. to set Camera No. and Camera

Info.

3.2.2 Metadata

Metadata is the raw data that the device collects before algorithm processing. It is oen used for

the third party integraon.

Go to VCA → Set Applicaon → General Sengs → metadata Sengs to enable metadata

uploading of the desired funcon.

Road Trac

The metadata of the road trac includes the target vehicle/plate license ID, target coordinate,

me, license plate number, moving direcon, etc.

3.3 Road Trac

The device captures the passing vehicles and uploads the vehicle informaon together with the

captured picture.

For certain device models, you need to select Road Trac on VCA Resource page rst.

This funcon is only supported by certain device models.

3.3.1 Set Vehicle Detecon Rule

In Vehicle Detecon, the device detects and captures the passing vehicles and the license plates.

The vehicle color, type, and other related informaon can be recognized automacally.

Before You Start

Go to VCA → Select Applicaon to select Road Trac, and click Next to enable the funcon.

Steps

Go to VCA → Set Applicaon → Road Trac → Rule .

Check Enable.

Select a Detecon Scene. Change the Scene Name if required.

The device supports mulple detecon scenes with independent detecon parameters.

Draw lane areas in the scene.

to avoid accidental PTZ changing during conguraon.
