1.1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TECO have an unique range of beverage coolers designed to
provide a reliable and consistent environment to store
beverages. To ensure this bar fridge performs as intended, it
is highly recommended that anyone intended to operate this
appliance, read and follow the instructions contained in this
manual.
This manual contains important information about the
installation, operation, and maintenance of TECO Bar Fridge.
Please pay close attention to the important safety
information shown throughout this instruction manual. Any
safety information will be accompanied by the following
safety alert symbols:
If the appliance has been sharply tilted or transported in the
horizontal position, it must
be left to stand in the upright position and not plugged in for
at least 4 hours.
• Remove all the packaging material before using the
appliance.
• Start the appliance only if it has been installed as
described in this manual.

1.2 SYMBOLS FROM THE UNIT AND USER MANUAL
This unit uses a flammable refrigerant. If
refrigerant leaks and comes in contact with fire
or heating part, it will create harmful gas and
there is risk of fire.
Read the USER MANUAL carefully before
operation.

• Retain this manual for future reference
• Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• Improper installation, adjustment or alteration and failure to follow the warnings and instructions in this manual could
result in severe personal injury, death or property damage
• The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage that could happen from improper use. The manufacturer emphasises
that this appliance should be used in a responsible manner and that all procedures, warnings, and safety instructions
contained in this booklet be followed strictly.
• Check the appliance for damage. Do not operate a damaged unit.
• Check for damage to the appliance regularly. If damage to the appliance is suspected, discontinue use immediately and
contact the supplier or qualified person to repair.
• This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible of their safety.
• Keep packaging material out of reach of children
• Children should be carefully supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
• Do not attempt to alter the appliance in any manner.
• Please pay attention to the maximum load limit when filling the shelves.
• All work on electrical equipment must be carried out by a qualified and licensed technician only.
• Do not perform maintenance until the appliance has been turned off and power disconnected.
• Never detach any cover except where specifically instructed in this manual. Doing so might expose live electrical parts.
• Do not operate the appliance with panels, covers or guards removed.
• Keep the air intake and outlets free of obstructions.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• If the supply cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by an authorised service agent or similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
• If the appliance has not been used, or will not be used for a long period of time, disconnect power supply.

• The appliance must be installed in accordance to AS1677.2:1998 to ensure there are no sources of ignition any area where
refrigerant could gather in the event of a leak.
• Electrical equipment should not be placed under the unit or where refrigerant could gather in the event of a leak.
• Installation/servicing of the appliance must be performed by a licensed technician with Gas Work Authorisation if the
appliance gas system is being opened or charged.
• The refrigerant used in all appliances covered by this manual are flammable.

YOUR SAFETY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WE CONCERNED!
Please read this manual carefully and fully understand before operating your appliance.
2.1 POWER SUPPLY
• The appliance must not be plugged into a multiple outlet power board.
• The appliance is supplied with a flexible power cord fitted with a 3-pin plug.
• The socket used must be properly earthed and fuse/RCD protected.
• See the rating label inside the cabinet for supply voltage, frequency and current draw.
• Power cable is rated 70°C. It is recommended that the cable should not come into contact with parts over 50°C.
• Do not turn o power before consulting the person responsible.
• Mark the power source clearly, so the refrigerator is not unplugged or turned on accidentally.
2.2 BEFORE OPERATING
• If the appliance has been sharply tilted or transported in the horizontal position, it must be left to stand in the upright
position and not plugged in for at least 4 hours.
• Remove all the packaging material before using the appliance.
• Start the appliance only if it has been installed as described.

3.1 LOCATION
Ensure the following instructions are observed as this is vital for proper and trouble-free operation.
• Do not install the cabinet outdoors.
• Locate the appliance in a dry and well ventilated place.
• The unit must be positioned on a level surface.
• Do not install in the vicinity of heating radiators or other heat sources.
• Do not install the appliance where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not install the appliance where it is exposed to warm draughts or open doors.
• Keep the air intake and outlets free of obstructions.
• Adequate allowance should be made for door openings.
3.2 VENTILATION
• Allow 150mm clearance between walls and the appliance.
• Ensure that the condenser fan is free to take in ambient air from the room.
• Adherence to minimum clearances is necessary.
3.3 POWER SUPPLY

4.1 PART NAMES

• To set the internal temperature of the bar fridge is done by the thermostat control located at the top interior of the bar
fridge.
• To start the bar fridge, turn the thermostat control to the desired position.
• 0 is off, 1 is MIN. (warmest interior) and 7 is MAX. (coldest interior).
• It is recommended to set the thermostat to 4 or 5 for a few hours and adjusted once it is at a stable internal temperature.

5. Reversing the door
5.1 DOOR REVERSAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION You will need to tilt the bar fridge back slightly to access the lower hinge which holds the screws. Do not tilt
back more than 45
o
and do not lay the bar fridge flat on its back or side.
• Remove the top plastic hinge cover and set it aside.
• Remove the plastic covers on the cabinet and the door from the opposite side in preparation for moving the top hinge.
• Unscrew the three (3) screws from the top metal hinge and set aside. Carefully remove the door and place it on a
cushioned or soft surface to avoid scratches or damage to the door.
• Insert the plastic covers over the screw holes and the door on the hinge screw holes just removed from the above step.
• Tilt the bar fridge back (no more than 45
o
), and unscrew the bottom hinge and front feet.
• Reposition the front foot to the bottom hinges original location and the bottom hinge to the opposite side.
• Screw the bottom hinge in place and then the front foot. Do not tighten the screws completely until the door is in place and
correctly aligned.
• Place the door into position onto the bottom hinge.
• Align the top hinge on the correct side of the door and screw into place. Do not tighten completely until correct alignment
is established and the bottom hinge screws are tightened first.

• Tilt the bar fridge back (no more than 45
o
). Align the door ensuring the rubber seal is making contact and aligned all the
way around the door. Once this is checked, tighten the screws. Be careful when returning the bar fridge to its upright
position, not to move the door out of alignment.
• Check the seal again before tightening the top hinge screws and replacing the plastic hinge cover.
• Open and close the door to check the door is making a good seal and the door is aligned correctly.
• Check the bar fridge is level and slightly tilted back so the door closes when released.

6. Maintenance
6.1 STOCKING THE BAR FRIDGE
• Clean the interior surface with a soft cloth and warm water before stocking the bar fridge.
• Ensure there is free circulation of air between the products.
• Do not block the evaporator fan.
• Do not overstock the refrigerator.
• Keep refrigerator door openings to a minimum.
• Some products are sensitive to ultraviolet (UV) light, please see storage guidelines from the manufacturer before
removing from packaging.
• Do not block the internal air vents or fans when stocking the cabinet. This can reduce cooling performance.
NOTE: TECO cannot be responsible for loss of stock or damage to stock.
IMPORTANT: Run the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before stocking.
6.2 CLEANING & CARE
WARNING: Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before performing any maintenance. Never unplug the
appliance by pulling on the cord. Always grasp the plug firmly and pull straight out of the outlet.
WARNING: Exposure to significant water ingress will void warranty and cause potential safety issues. If the unit
should be exposed to water, please contact the manufacturer immediately.
IMPORTANT: Warranty may be void if there is no evidence of preventative maintenance is performed on the appliance.
• Remove the products and transfer to a suitable location prior to cleaning the inside of the cabinet.
• Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Never use a water hose or a high-pressure jet to clean.
• Do not use sharp or pointed objects for cleaning.
• Clean the inside and outside of the appliance with a clean damp cloth or with a neutral cleanser.
• Dry all surfaces with a dry cloth.
• The back bar cabinet must be wiped down regularly.
• Never use polishing powder, soap powder, benzine, oil, or hot water as these will damage the painting and plastic
components.

• Preventing the build-up of oil and sediments will increase the longevity of the unit.
• After cleaning, ensure the power plug is firmly inserted into the wall.
• Check the power cord for cracks and damage. If damaged, contact TECO Service.
6.3 WHAT TO DO WHEN NOT IN USE
Short Duration
• If the duration is less than a month, leave the bar fridge operating as normal.
Long Duration
• If the duration is longer than a month or the bar fridge will not be used, remove all items (food & drinks) contained in the
cabinet.
• Disconnect the bar fridge from the power socket. Clean the interior and dry (refer to the Cleaning & Care section of this
manual).
• Leave the bar fridge open slightly.
• Ensure children and pets do not have access to the bar fridge while in this state to prevent risk of entrapment.
6.3 MOVING THE BAR FRIDGE
• Remove all food and drinks from the bar fridge and unplug from the power source.
• Tape down the shelves and drawers. Tape the door shut and tighten the leveling feet completely to avoid damage.
CAUTION: Never lift the bar fridge by the door.
• Protect the exterior of the bar fridge with a blanket or similar soft material and make sure the bar fridge stays secure in the
straight position during transportation.
6.4 DISPOSAL OF THE BAR FRIDGE
• Remove the door and discard separately. Remove the seals from the door and dispose separately.
• Contact your local council for the correct method for the disposal of the appliance.
WARNING Do not give children permission to play with the disposed bar fridge.
• The carton should be recycled responsibly. The packing material disposed of in the correct manner.
• Do not give permission for children to play with any of the packaging or packaging material.
• Ensure the bar fridge is OFF and disconnected before cutting the power cord.
