Leveling the Isolation Base
IMPORTANT: For best performance, start the leveling process with the top edge of the feet aligned to the bottom of
the isolation base. Rotate each foot to adjust their height until they match the image below.
Isolation Tips
Vibrations can physicallytravel through rigid materials such as ceramic or hardwood oors and affect your
audio signal.
It is recommended to use anti-vibration furniture pads to decrease the transmission of physical vibrations when
installed in a room with hard oors.
Speakers create sound waves, which travel through the air, and can cause unwanted acoustical eects.Acoustic
foam can be placed on the wall opposite the speakers to dampen sound reections.
Some turntables have a removable dust cover. A dust cover can resonate with sound waves, which can cause
audio distortion. A best practice is to remove the dust cover during playback.
1. Use the bubble level to check the position of the base and rotate the 4 feet as shown below to conrm the base
is level.
2. Place your turntable on top of the isolation base. For best performance the turntable should be centered on the
base. Note: Some turntables feature adjustable feet, and those models should also be leveled.
