IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are closely
supervised and instructed concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
3. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.

6. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the iron in
water or other liquids.
7. Always turn the appliance to OFF ( ) before plugging or
unplugging the appliance from the electrical outlet. Never pull on
the cord to disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet;
instead, grasp the plug and pull on the plug to disconnect the
appliance.
8. Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces. Let the iron cool completely
before putting the iron away. Coil the cord loosely around the iron
when storing.
9. Always disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet before
filling the appliance with water, emptying the water from the
appliance, and when the appliance is not in use.
10. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or in the
event the appliance has been dropped or damaged or there are
visible signs of damage or it is leaking. To avoid the risk of electric
shock, do not disassemble the appliance. Incorrect assembly
might result in a risk of electric shock when the appliance is used
after reassembly.Supply cord replacement and repairs must be
conducted by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Call the provided
customer service number for information on examination, repair,
or adjustment.
11. Always close the filling aperture when operating appliance.
12. To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam
vents, check appliance before each use by holding it away from
body and operating steam button.
13. The appliance must be used and rested on a stable surface.
14. Do not leave the appliance unattended while the appliance is
connected to an electrical outlet.
15. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or
steam. Use caution when you turn a steam iron upside down—
there might be hot water in the reservoir.
16. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate an iron on the same
circuit with another high-wattage appliance.
17. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a cord with an
ampere rating equal to or greater than the maximum rating of the
iron shall be used. A cord rated for less amperage can result in a
risk of fire or electric shock due to overheating. Care shall be taken
to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or be tripped over.
