• It is imperative to unplug the power cord after the
appliance has been used, before it is cleaned and whilst
being repaired.
• Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed
by qualified personnel. Improper repairs may place user
at serious risk.
• DO NOT operate this appliance with a damaged plug or
cord, after a malfunction or after being dropped or
damaged in any way.
• Regular, periodic checks should be carried out on the
mains cable to ensure no damage is evident. Should there
be any signs of damage the appliance should not be used.
• If the power cable is damaged, it should only be replaced
by qualified personnel in order to avoid a hazard.
• DO NOT allow the mains cable to hang over sharp edges

• Keep all air vents clear and free of dust, lint, hair and
anything else that may reduce airflow.
• Avoid directing the appliance towards naked flames as
the air discharged may extinguish gas fires or pilot lights
and may disturb ashes in open fires.
• DO NOT Vacuum water or any other liquids with this
vacuum.
• DO NOT Vacuum hot ashes or lit cigarettes, etc.

Using Your 2 in 1 Vacuum Cleaner

3. Press the On/Off Switch (6) to the ‘I’ position to
power up the vacuum cleaner.
2. Fully unravel the
Mains Cable (3)
and insert the
mains plug into the
nearest socket.
1. Rotate the Upper Cable Hook (2)
clockwise until it is in the down position
and release the Mains Cable (3).
4. Place your foot gently on the Floor Tool (11)
and pull the cleaner back by the Handle (1)
to start vacuum cleaning.

Using the Vacuum Handheld
Use the cleaner handheld to clean upholstered furniture and hard to get at areas:
A. Push the Lower
Cable Hook/Handle

out of the vacuum.

up.

1. Once the dust level reaches the
‘MAX’ mark on the Dust
Compartment (10) it will need to
be emptied and the filters cleaned
as follows:

and press the Dust Compartment

Dust Compartment (10).

1. Pull the Conical Hepa Filter (9) out of the
Dust Compartment (10).
2. Wash the Conical Hepa Filter (9) in
warm running water until the filter is
clean. Allow the filter to thoroughly dry
for 24 hours before reuse.
3. Pull the Sponge Filter out and wash in
warm running water until the filter is
clean. Allow the filter to thoroughly dry
for 24 hours before reuse.

Care and Use of Your Vacuum Cleaner
• Always disconnect the cleaner from the mains
power supply before cleaning.
• Clean outside of the cleaner with a clean damp
cloth. Never clean with harsh or abrasive cleaners.
• Do not submerge the cleaner or its cord in water or
any other liquids.
• Empty the Dust Compartment (10) as soon as the
‘MAX’ mark has been reached.*
• Wash the Conical Hepa & Sponge Filters regularly – see table below.
• Allow the filters to thoroughly dry out for 24 hours before refitting them back
to the vacuum.
WARNING!* do not continue to use your vacuum cleaner once the ‘MAX’
mark has been reached as permanent damage may occur to the appliance.

1. Unplug the mains plug and return the Upper Cable Hook (2) to the upright
position.
2. Wrap the Mains Cable (3) around the Upper Cable Hook (2) and the Lower
Cable Hook (4).
3. Store your cleaner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead
and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one
(conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). Never use a plug with the fuse cover
missing. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
If you need to remove the plug – DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS – and then cut
it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse
the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock.

with proof of purchase or receipt. If any defect should occur due to faulty workmanship or
material, your faulty vacuum should be returned to the place of purchase, replacement or refund is
at the discretion of the retailer.
