Safety precautions and recommendations
detailed here must be fully understood and
followed to reduce the risk of injury, fire,
explosion, electrical hazard, and/or property
damage.
Safety information presented here is generic
in nature – some advice may not be
applicable to every product. The term
"equipment" refers to the product, be it
electrical mains powered, battery powered or
combustion engine powered.
• Before Use - If you are not familiar with the
safe operation/handling of the equipment or
are in any way unsure of any aspect of
suitability or correct use for your
application, you should complete training
conducted by a person or organization
qualified in safe use and operation of this
equipment, including fuel/electrical handling
and safety.
• Do NOT operate the equipment in
flammable or explosive environments, such
as in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases, or dust. The equipment may create
sparks or heat that may ignite flammable
substances.
• Keep clear of moving parts.
• Equipment may be a potential source of
electric shock or injury if misused.
• Do NOT operate the equipment if it is
damaged, malfunctioning or is in an
excessively worn state.
• Do NOT allow others to use the equipment
unless they have read this manual and are
adequately trained.
• Keep packaging away from children - risk
of suffocation! Operators must use the
equipment correctly. When using the
equipment, consider conditions and pay
due care to persons and property.
General Work Area Safety
• Work areas should be clean and well it.
• Do not operate the equipment if
bystanders, animals etc are within
operating range of the equipment or the
general work area.
• If devices are provided for connecting dust
extraction / collection facilities, ensure
these are connected and used properly.
Dust collection can reduce dust-related
hazards.
General Personal Safety
• Wear appropriate protective equipment
when operating, servicing, or when in the
operating area of the equipment to help
protect from eye and ear injury, poisoning,
burns, cutting and crush injuries. Protective
equipment such as safety goggles,
respirators, non-slip safety footwear, hard
hat, hearing protection etc should be used
for appropriate equipment / conditions.
Other people nearby should also wear
appropriate personal protective equipment.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery,
which can be caught in moving parts. Keep
hair and clothing away from the equipment.
• Stay alert and use common sense when
operating the equipment. Do not over-
reach. Always maintain secure footing and
balance.
• Do not use the equipment if tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol, or
medication.
• This equipment is not intended for use by
persons with reduced physical, sensory, or
mental capabilities.
General Fuel Safety
• Petrol/fuel/gasoline is extremely flammable
– keep clear of naked flames or other
ignition sources.
• Do not spill fuel. If you spill fuel, wipe it off
the equipment immediately – if fuel gets on
your clothing, change clothing.
• Do NOT smoke near fuel or when
refuelling.
• Always shut off the engine before
refuelling.
• Do NOT refuel a hot engine.
• Open the fuel cap carefully to allow any
pressure build-up in the tank to release
slowly.
• Always refuel in well ventilated areas.
• Always check for fuel leakage. If fuel
leakage is found, do not start, or run the
engine until all leaks are fixed.
General Carbon-Monoxide Safety
• Using a combustion engine indoors CAN
KILL IN MINUTES. Engine exhaust
contains carbon-monoxide – a poison you
cannot smell or see.
• Use combustion engines OUTSIDE only,
and far away from windows, doors, and
vents.
General Equipment Use and Care
• The equipment is designed for domestic
use only.
• Handle the equipment safely and carefully.
• Before use, inspect the equipment for
misalignment or binding of moving parts,
loose components, damage, or any other
condition that may affect its operation. If
damaged, have the equipment repaired by
an authorised service centre or technician
before use.
• Prevent unintentional starting of the
equipment - ensure equipment and power
switches are in the OFF position before
connecting or moving equipment. Do not
carry equipment with hands or fingers
touching any controls. Remove any tools or
other items that are not a part of the
equipment from it before starting or
switching on.
• Do not force the equipment. Use the
correct equipment for your application.
Equipment will perform better and be safer
when used within its design and usage
parameters.
• Use the equipment and accessories etc. in
accordance with these instructions,
considering working conditions and the
work to be performed. Using the equipment
for operations different from those intended
could result in hazardous situations.
• Always keep equipment components
(engines, hoses, handles, controls, frames,
housings, guards etc) and accessories
(cutting tools, nozzles, bits etc) properly
maintained. Keep the equipment clean and,
where applicable, properly lubricated.
• Store the equipment out of reach of
children or untrained persons. To avoid
burns or fire hazards, let the equipment
cool completely before transporting or
storing. Never place or store the equipment
near flammable materials, combustible
gases, or liquids etc.
• The equipment is not weather-proof, and
should not be stored in direct sunlight, at
high ambient temperatures or locations that
are damp or humid.
• Do not clean equipment with solvents,
flammable liquids, or harsh abrasives.

General Electrical Safety
• Inspect electrical equipment, extension
cords, power bars, and electrical fittings for
damage or wear before each use. Repair or
replace damaged equipment immediately.
• Ensure all power sources conform to
equipment voltage requirements and are
disconnected before connecting or
disconnecting equipment.
• When wiring electrically powered
equipment, follow all electrical and safety
codes.
• Always use a Residual Current Device
(RCD) (GFCI) / Earth Leakage Circuit
Breaker / Safety Switch when operating this
item (electrical items only).
• High voltage / high current power lines may
be present. Use extreme caution to avoid
contact or interference with power lines.
Electrical shock can be fatal.
General Electrical Safety
• Electrically grounded equipment must have
an approved cord and plug and be
connected to a grounded electrical outlet.
• Do NOT bypass the ON/OFF switch and
operate equipment by connecting and
disconnecting the electrical cord.
• Do NOT use equipment that has exposed
wiring, damaged switches, covers or
guards.
• Do NOT use electrical equipment in wet
conditions or in damp locations.
• Do NOT use electrical cords to lift, move or
carry equipment.
• Do NOT coil or knot electrical cords, and
ensure electrical cords are not trip hazards.
General Service Information
• The equipment must be serviced or
repaired at authorised service centres by
qualified personnel only.
• Replacement parts must be original
equipment manufacturer (OEM) to ensure
equipment safety is maintained.
• Do NOT attempt any maintenance or repair
work not described in this manual.
• After use, the equipment and components
may still be hot – allow the equipment to
cool and disconnect spark plugs and/or
electrical power sources and/or batteries
from it before adjusting, changing
accessories, or performing repair or
maintenance.
• Do NOT adjust while the equipment is
running.
• Perform service-related activities in suitable
conditions, such as a workshop.
• Replace worn, damaged or missing
warning/safety labels immediately.
Annular Cutter / Magnetic Drill Safety
• WARNING! Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and regulations provided with the power tool. Failure to follow the instructions
listed will result in electric shock, and/or serious injuries!
• Keep all warnings and instructions for future reference.
• The term "power tool" in the warning refers to utility-driven (wired) power tools or battery-driven (wireless) power tools.
• Understand the characteristics and operating rules of the magnetic drill. A new operator must undergo extensive training in operating the tool.
• Please make sure that the voltage is not more than 5% before use. If it exceeds 5%, the motor will burn out.
• The operator must wear safety equipment, insulating gloves and durable eye goggles.
• Water should not enter the motor. The ventilation holes should not be blocked to allow internal heat to dissipate.
• Before operating, please confirm whether there are dangerous objects within the drilling area, such as electric wires, gas pipes, water pipes and
telecommunication pipes.
• Pay attention to the safety of the personnel and objects when drilling the magnetic base through the plate. When drilling the beam and column,
pay attention to the safety of the building structure.
• In any circumstances, The power tool should only be started under a no-load condition. DON OT start the power tool with a load to avoid damage
to tools or personal injuries.
• Use cables that comply with safety regulations to ensure reliable grounding of the grounding wire. If you use an extension power cord, please use
the same specification power cord as this power tool.
• When installing or moving the magnetic drill, changing accessories or leaving, be sure to unplug the plug from the socket first to avoid accidents
caused by accidentally turning on the power switch of the tool.
• When moving the magnetic drill, you should lift the magnetic drill and do not drag it on the ground to prevent the magnetic base from being
damaged.
• After operation, do not put down the tool until the tool completely stops rotating. Do not touch the drill bit and the parts around the drill bit
immediately after the operation. These parts may be very hot and burn your skin.
• The magnetic drill is equipped with a safety protection rope. When working in the air, the safety protection rope must be tightly secured to the
magnetic drill to prevent accidents caused by sudden power failure or power failure.
• Always pay attention to the power cord. DO NOT touch the drill bit during operation.
• If you accidentally drop or hit the power tool, please check whether the body is damaged, cracked or deformed.
• This power tool uses magnetism. Safety protection measure should be taken, such as assembling the protector. Otherwise, the user must wear
insulated gloves, shoes and insulation pad. When using this tool in a humid and cramped workplace, a short-circuit automatic breaker (30mA)
should be used to protect the safety of the operator.
Workplace Safety
• Keep the workplace clean and brightly-lit. A cluttered and dark workplace can cause accidents.
• Do not operate power tools in an explosive environment, such as an environment with flammable liquid, gas, or dust. Sparks from power tools
can ignite dust or gas.
• Stay away from children and bystanders when operating power tools. Inattention can make you lose control of your tools.
Electrical Safety
• The power tool plug must match the socket. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any conversion plugs for power tools that need to be
grounded. Unmodified plugs and matching sockets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Avoid contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, heat sinks and refrigerators. If you touch a grounded surface, you increase the risk of
electric shocks.

• Do not expose the power tool to rain or humid environment. Water entering the power tool will increase the risk of electric shocks.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use wires to carry, pull or unplug power tools. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
• When using power tools outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor household use. Wires suitable for outdoor use will reduce the risk of
electric shocks.
• If it is unavoidable to operate power tools in a humid environment, a power supply with residual current device (RCD) protection should be used-
the use of RCD can reduce the risk of electric shocks.
Personal Safety
• Stay alert, pay attention to what you are doing and stay awake when operating power tools. Do not operate power tools when you are tired, or
when you are taking drugs, alcohol or medicinal treatments. A momentary negligence when operating electric tools can cause serious personal
injuries!
• Use personal protective equipment. Always wear goggles. Protective devices, such as dust masks, non-skid safety shoes, hard hats, weight
protection and other devices used under appropriate conditions can reduce personal injuries.
• Prevent accidental starting. Make sure that the switch is in the off position before connecting the power source and/or battery pack, picking up or
carrying the tool. Putting your fingers on the switch to carry tools or turning on the power when the switch is on can cause danger.
• Before the power tool is switched on, remove all adjustment keys or wrenches. The wrench or key left on the rotating parts of the power tool can
cause personal injuries.
• Don't extend your hands too much. Always pay attention to your footing and body balance. In this way, the power tool can be better controlled.
• Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothes or accessories. Keep hair and loose clothes away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or
long hair may be caught in moving parts.
• If a device for connecting with the chip removal and dust collection equipment is provided, ensure that it is well connected and used properly. The
use of dust collectors can reduce the danger caused by dust.
• Don't relax because of the familiarity generated by frequently using tools and ignore safety guidelines. A certain misstep action may cause
serious injury in an instant!
Use and Precautions of Electric Tools
• Do not use power tools reluctantly, use appropriate power tools according to its purpose. Choosing suitable power tools designed according to
the rated value will make your work more efficient and safer.
• If the switch cannot turn ON or OFF the power tool, it cannot be used. Power tools that cannot be controlled by the switch are dangerous and
must be repaired.
• Before making any adjustments, changing attachments, or storing power tools, you must unplug and/or remove the battery pack (if removable)
from the power source. This protective measure reduces the risk of accidental lifting of power tools.
• Store unused electric tools out of reach of children, and do not allow those who are unfamiliar with electric tools and those who do not understand
these instructions to operate electric tools. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Maintain power tools and accessories. Check whether the moving parts are adjusted in place or jammed, check the damaged parts and other
conditions that affect the operation of the power tool. If damaged, the power tool should be repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
• Keep the cutting tool sharp and clean. Well-maintained knives with sharp cutting edges are not easy to jam and are easy to control.
• Select the power tools, accessories, and tool bits according to this manual, and considering the operating conditions and the work to be
performed. Using power tools for operations that are inconsistent with their purpose may lead to dangerous situations.
• Keep the handle and holding surface dry, clean, and free of grease. In the event of an accident, the outer handle cannot guarantee the safety of
holding and the control of the tool.
Servicing the Tool
• Professional maintenance personnel use the same spare parts to repair power tools. This will ensure the safety of the power tool being repaired.
• The safety precautions listed below for magnetic drills must be strictly followed, otherwise the tools or may be damaged.

Assembly and Operation
Handle
Screw the handle into the screw hole of the handle base and tighten it. Turn the handle to check whether the
guide plate moves freely.
Pre-Operation Check
When the power is turned on, the standby indicator lights up green. Press the magnet switch, and the light on
the suction cup indicates that the magnetic holder is in working condition. Use an iron bar or block to check
whether there is suction at the bottom of the magnetic holder. A strong suction indicates that the magnetic holder
is functioning normally and can be used. When the suction cup switch is pressed again, the indicator light of the
magnetic base will be off, and the magnetic base will lose its magnetic function.
IMPORTANT! Excessively rough and uneven adsorption on the surface will have a certain impact
on the adsorption force of the magnetic drill, so you must first test to prevent accidents.
Operating the Machine
Plug in the power plug, align the drill bit to the position you need, then turn on the electromagnet switch, use the
magnet to attach to the surface of magnetic materials such as steel, ensure the surface is free of debris and
check whether the magnetic force is normal by pushing it side to side. (Generally, the thickness of the steel plate
should be greater than 15mm).
The motor switch can only be turned on when the suction cup is switched ON.
In any case, the tool should only be started in a no-load state. NEVER start the tool with load.

Installing and Removing the Drill Bit
Before installing or removing the drill bit, be sure to unplug the plug from the power source.
IMPORTANT: Coolant will not flow unless the drill bit is installed. Please do not use water as it
may cause rust or corrosion over time. Coolant should be used.
1. Before using the machine to drill, install the coolant tank and secure it with 2 screws.
2. The coolant outlet of the coolant tank is connected to the coolant pipe shown in the image below:
3. Once the tank is filled with coolant, insert the drill bit. Coolant will not flow unless the drill bit is installed.
4. Remove the drill bit: unplug the power plug and rotate the drill shaft by hand, so that the keyway on the drill
shaft is in the same position as the outer keyway.
5. Insert the keyway, remove the cone, and then remove the drill bit.
6. Start feeding slowly and not forcefully.
7. The feed amount is generally about 0.05mm. Do not use excessive force to prevent overload.
8. When the operation is blocked, the electric drill should be returned to prevent the electric drill from being
overloaded.
9. When the number of revolutions is abnormally reduced, the feed should be relaxed immediately.
10. If the drill suddenly stops for some reason, the power switch must be turned off immediately.

Safety Rope
The safety rope is fastened to the frame, loosen the lock nut and fasten the other end to a sturdy frame. The
upper product penetrates the buckle, leaving a length of about 1 bar in the middle of the well to make the drill
frame open for adjustment. Tighten the nut. The upper guarantees that the protection rope will not loosen, and
the trial force should not be loosened and moved.
Rail Adjustment
If the drilling rig vibrates too much or the guide plate moves loosely up and down, adjust the gap between the
guide plate and the matching copper parts. Tighten the screws with an Allen wrench to reduce the gap between
the guide plate and the matching copper parts.

Working Methods
Horizontal Working Methods
1. Move the magnetic base drill to the workpiece. Note: The contact surface of the magnetic base must be
clean and flat, and there must be no iron filings and other debris.
2. Turn on the power, then turn on the magnetic base control switch. The magnetic base will be attracted to the
workpiece.
3. Install the required drill bit, loosen the turntable tightening screw, turn the frame, align the drill bit to the
processing hole, and tighten the screw. Rotate the handle to position the drill as close to the processing
surface, but not touching the processing surface.
4. Enter the control switch of the magnetic drill and wait for the magnetic base drill to run smoothly before
drilling (the feed crystal is generally around 0 05mm/r, don't use excessive force to prevent overload).
5. After the processing is completed, turn off the magnetic drill control switch and the magnetic base control
switch, and the magnetic base drill is lowered from the top of the processed part.
Horizontal Drilling
NOTE: Two or more people are required to operate and be supervised by someone.
1. Insert the plug into the power socket.
2. Lift the magnetic base drill so that the magnetic base drill is against the working surface, turn on the magnet
switch. The magnetic base will be attracted to the workpiece.
3. Fasten the safety rope (not too tight, so that the drill frame can be adjusted to a certain extent} to prevent the
magnetic drill from being powered off from falling suddenly.
4. Install the required drill bit, loosen the turntable top screw, rotate the frame, align the drill bit to the
processing hole, and tighten the top screw. Rotate the handle to allow the drill to approach the processing
surface closely, but not touch the processing surface.
5. Turn on the magnetic drill control switch and wait for the magnetic base drill to run smoothly before drilling
(the feed rate is generally about 0.05mm/r, do not use excessive force to prevent overload).
6. After processing, turn off the magnetic drill control switch. With two persons holding the magnetic base drill,
untie the safety rope. Turn off the magnetic base control switch and remove the magnetic base drill.
Please note that if you are using the drill in a horizontal orientation you must apply the cutting fluid
manually, the automatic fluid dispenser will not work. One person can spray the fluid onto the spinning
drill bit while the other operates the drill.
Top Working Methods
NOTE: Two or more people are required to operate and be supervised by someone.

Note: For iron filings under drilling, corresponding protective measures should be adopted.

Note: When drilling a sudden stop or jamming during drilling, the electric drill control switch must be
turned off immediately, but the solenoid base control switch must not be turned off. After 2-3 hours of
continued use, you need to let the tool rest for a while to prevent the electromagnetic holder from
burning out due to overheating.
This tool should be properly grounded to prevent the operator from electric shocks. The grounding device should
have a wire that conforms to local standards and be equipped with a grounding plug to match the special
grounding level. Do not mistakenly connect the ground wire to the live wire or phase wire joint.
The grounded power socket should be connected with a connected permanent grounding device so that the plug
hole and the lug connected to the yellow-green wire can be connected to the ground at the same time.

Maintenance and Inspection
Magnetic Drill
IMPORTANT! Before maintenance and inspection, you must unplug the tool from the power
supply.
•
Remove dirt such as dust and oil on the power tool. Keep tools clean and knives sharp.
•
Frequently check screws at each connection part. They should not be loose.
•
Always ensure that the insulation layer of the power cord should not have any damages.
•
The magnetic drill should be checked and maintained frequently. Check whether the power cord, internal
wiring, plug, and switch are in good working condition, whether the insulation resistance is normal, and
whether the transmission parts are damaged.
•
The transmission parts (i.e., gears, racks) in the magnetic drill should always be lubricated and kept clean.
•
When disassembling and inspecting the magnetic base drill, every part should be kept, including the
insulating gasket sleeves, etc. If damaged, the same parts must be replaced with new ones, and all parts
should be installed in the original position during assembly, and no omissions should be made.
Replacement Brush
•
When the tool has large sparks during operation or stops running, replace the brush.
•
Use a screwdriver to unscrew the brush cover, move the spring on the brush, take out the worn brush and
install a new brush, and confirm that the brush slides freely into the hole, and then tighten the brush holder.
•
Be sure to replace both brushes at the same time and use original brushes from the supplier.
