REPLACING LIGHT BULBS
WARNING - RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!!!
Disconnect power at the source prior to replacing light bulbs/fuse. Replace light
bulbs/fuse only during dry and calm weather conditions. Do NOT replace light
bulbs/fuse during rain or when wet.
1 Lightly hold the bulb you want to replace in one hand, then twist the
bulb counterclockwise.
Note: The bulb may be tight in the socket. This is normal to prevent moisture
from getting into the socket.
2 Screw the replacement bulb into the socket clockwise until the top of
the socket forms a tight seal around the bulb and the bulb makes solid
contact with the socket.
ADDING A LIGHT STRING
Note: You can add up to 36 string light sets.
1 Unplug the rst light string.
2 Remove the cap from the female end and insert the power plug on
the second string into the power outlet on the rst string.
Note: Tightly cap the female end when not in use.
Attach to a structure
1 Attach screw hooks (not included) into the structure where you want
your string light. The screw hooks should be no less than 10 ft. (3 m)
apart.
2 Attach the plastic loops on the end of the lights to the screw hooks.
3 Plug the lights into a grounded outlet.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed including the following:
a) READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
b) Do not use these products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
When products are used in outdoor applications, connect the product to a Ground Fault Circuit
Interrupting (GFCl) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a qualied electrician for proper
installation.
c) Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, replace, candles, or other similar sources of heat.
d) Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails. Install
only using the mounting means provided
e) Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
f) Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
g) Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
h) Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire
insulation.
i) Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of the product when in use.
j) This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of
electric shock. This plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not use with an
extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter or replace the plug.

Before using your new product, please read these instructions to prevent any damage.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Lights will not turn on.
Make sure that all of the connectors are connected correctly and the
plug is inserted into a power outlet.
Make sure that the power is turned on.
If none of the bulbs light up, check the fuse at end of the cord.
A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the
fuse is blown, unplug the light string from the outlet.
Also unplug any additional strings or products attached to the product.

Make sure that the power cable is not damaged.
Make sure that all connections are tight and secure.
If one or several bulbs do not light, unplug the string, then gently grasp
and tighten the bulbs into the socket. Do not overtighten.
Plug in the light string and retry.
• Replace the fuse (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and
check the product. If the replacement fuse blows again, it is possible
that a short circuit has occurred and the product needs to be discarded.
REPLACING A FUSE
1 Grasp the plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device.
Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
2 Open the access cover on top of the plug by sliding the fuse cover
towards the electrical prongs.
3 Carefully pop out the fuse using a small screwdriver.
4 Insert the new fuse (included).
Note: Only replace with the included fuse or a 5A 125V fuse.
5 Slide the fuse cover back to the original position.

CONNECTING YOUR STRING LIGHTS
Attach to a guide wire
1 Run a guide wire (not included) in the location where you want your string
light.
2 Attach an S hook or temporary tie (not included) through the plastic loop
on the end of each light.
CAUTION: Make sure that the guide wire is strong enough to hold up the light
string.
3 Attach each plastic loop to the guide wire.
4 Plug the lights into a grounded outlet.
IMPORTANT, RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE: READ CAREFULLY
The lighting string is rated at 120V, 60Hz, 12 W.
It is provided with 12 lampholders and 1 W, S14 E26 Type LED lamps
CAUTION:
1. To reduce the risk of re, use only type S14 LED lamps, 1 W maximum
2. To reduce the risk of re, do not deliberately reposition either lampholder contact.
CONNECTING MULTIPLE SETS: USING INCLUDED LED BULBS
Add the wattage of each light string together for a total of 432 W or less.
When connecting multiple sets, protect connection(s) from direct exposure to rain and water.
Do not allow connection(s) to become wet.
CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Do not use with extension cord near water or where water may accumulate.
Keep lamps at least 16 ft. (4.8 m) from pools and spas. Keep plugs and receptacles dry. Do not
submerse.
Disconnect power at source prior to wiring, replacing light bulbs/fuse, or servicing in any way.
The light string kits are supplied with an attached two prong plug that will only t into a two
prong outlet.
Do not alter the plug.
