1 Setting the cooking time

This chapter explains how to set a hotplate. The table
shows heat settings and cooking times for various
meals.
Setting procedure
Adjust the heat setting of the individual hotplates using
the hotplate controls.
Position 0 = off
Position 1 = lowest heat setting
Position 9 = highest heat setting
When you switch on a hotplate, the indicator lamp lights
up.
Table of cooking times
The following table provides some examples.
Cooking times and heat settings may vary depending
on the type of food, its weight and quality. Deviations
are therefore possible.
When heating thick liquids, stir regularly.
For bringing liquids to the boil, use heat setting 9.
