BEFORE FIRST USE
n Remove all packaging and other accessories inside as well as outside the appliance.
n Operate the coffee maker for the first time without coffee, and with a full tank of water to rinse the circuit.
n The insulated carafe is not dishwasher- or microwave-safe.
PREPARATION OF THE COFFEE
n Follow the illustrations from 1 to 12.
n Use only cold water and a No.4 filter paper.
n An anti-drip system allows you to remove the carafe as coffee is being made. Replace it quickly to prevent
overflowing.
n Do not exceed the maximum quantity of water.
n Do not exceed 10 spoons of ground coffee.
Place the ground coffee directly inside the paper filter. After use, throw away the coffee grounds and rinse
the filter holder under running water.
The recommended quantity of ground coffee for one cup is a level spoonful of standard grind coffee
(maximum of 7 grams).
Your coffee maker is equipped with an automatic stop system:
n The appliance will stop automatically after approximately 5 minutes.
n The appliance may be turned off at any time by pressing the on/off button
INSULATED POT
n Keep warm:
Temper the pot in advance for a few minutes with warm water and empty it.
- Your insulated pot keeps your drink warm for 4 hours.
- Do not use it for soups or salty preparations.
n Keep cool
- Cool down the pot using cold water and empty it prior to filling it with a cool drink.
Warning: the isothermal pot with the black* plastic coating is not designed to withstand thermal shocks and
physical impacts. Avoid any sudden change in the temperature of the liquid in the pot.
CLEANING
n Unplug the appliance.
n Do not clean the appliance when hot.
n Clean with a damp cloth or sponge.
n Never put the appliance in water or under running water.
