Before starting your washer
Add measured detergent. Then place a NOTE: If your washer has a Consumer Buy
sorted load in the washer. Refer to the Guide, remove it and place it in this Use and
"Laundry Tips" section on pages 14 and 15 Care Guide.

Starting or stopping your washer
To start your washer:
1. Select a load size and water temperature
as described on page 6.
2. Push in and tum the Cycle Control Knob
clockwise. Stop when the indicator on the
knob's outer ring points to the setting in
the wash cycle you want. (See pages
7-9.) The settings indicate soil level.
3. Pull out the Cycle Control Knob.
To stoplrestart your washer:
• To stop the washer at any time, push in
the Cycle Control Knob.
• To restart the washer, close the lid (if
necessary) and pull out the Cycle Control
Knob.
