Problem Possible cause and solution
The in-operation indica-
tor light is flashing
quickly.
At the end of the pro-
gram, the alarm tone
sounds and the display
shows the following
message:
Fault F601
There is a fault in the AutoDos.
Turn the dishwasher off and back on again.
Check whether the PowerDisk holder and the
PowerDisk have been installed correctly (see “Au-
tomatic dispensing/AutoDos” under “Detergent”).
Activate the AutoDos function and start the pro-
gram again.
If the fault message appears again, there is a techni-
cal fault. You can continue to use your dishwasher by
deactivating AutoDos using the AutoDosbutton
and manually dispensing the detergent via the deter-
gent compartment.
If you wish to use AutoDos again, contact Miele
Customer Service.

The dishwasher does
not turn off at the end
of the program.
The dishes may not be
clean because an insuf-
ficient amount of deter-
gent was dispensed.
The AutoDos func-
tion is automatically de-
activated during the
program sequence.
An empty PowerDisk has been inserted or the Auto-
Dos is blocked by residual detergent. Detergent
dosage is insufficient.
The AutoDos function was automatically deacti-
vated.
Turn the dishwasher off and back on again.
Multiple messages appear in the display.
Clean the pouring channel of the AutoDos (see
“Cleaning the AutoDos” under “Detergent”).
Clean the lower spray arm (see “Cleaning the
spray arms” under “Cleaning and care”).
Select OK to confirm each message.
Activate the AutoDos function by confirming the
message AutoDos available with OK.
Start the program again.
The program duration will be extended by up to
2.5hours to flush out the AutoDos detergent outlet.
