Oponal Supply Hose Instrucons: An oponal hose is available from your Napoleon Dealer that allows
the grill to be connected to a 20 lb (9.1 kg) cylinder. A dented or rusted cylinder may be hazardous and
should be checked by your propane supplier. Never use a cylinder with a damaged valve.
The LP-gas supply cylinder must be constructed and marked in accordance with the US Department of
Transportaon (DOT) specicaons for LP-Gas Cylinders or the Standard for Cylinders, Spheres and Tubes
for Transportaon of Dangerous Good and Commission, CAN/CSA-B339, as applicable.
The propane cylinder must be provided with a shut-o valve terminang in a propane cylinder valve type
QCC1, and a safety relief device having direct communicaon with the vapour space of the cylinder. The
cylinder supply system must be arranged for vapour withdrawal and the cylinder shall include a collar to
protect the cylinder valve. The cylinder shall incorporate a listed OPD (overll protecon device). To use
the hose, connect it between the tank valve and the regulator on the grill. These connecons should be
hand ghtened, and leak tested. Ensure that the cylinder valve is turned o whenever the grill is not in
use.

hose may be subject to accidental damage. Do not p or move propane supply cylinder.
WARNING! If these instrucons are not followed exactly, a re causing death or serious injury

Do not store a spare propane cylinder under or near this appliance.
Never ll the cylinder beyond 80 percent full.
