Kenmore One Year Limited Warranty
When this appliance is installed, operated and maintained according to all supplied instructions, the following
warranty coverage applies. To arrange for warranty service, call 1-800-4-MY-HOME ® (1-800-469-4663).
* For one year from the date of purchase, free repair will be provided if this appliance fails due to defective
materials or workmanship.
For five years from the date of purchase, a defective sealed refrigerant system will be repaired free of charge.
If this appliance is ever used for other than private family purposes, this warranty applies for only 90 days from
the date of purchase.
This warranty covers ONLY defects in material and workmanship, and will NOT pay for:
Expendable items that can wear out from normal use, induding but not limited to filters, belts, incandescent light
buJbs and bags.
1. A service technician to instruct the user in correct product instaJJation, operation or maintenance.
2. A service technician to dean or maintain this product.
3. Damage to or faiJure of this product if it is not instaJJed, operated or maintained according to the aJJ
instructions suppJied with the product.
4. Damage to or faiJure of this product resuJting from accident, abuse, misuse or use for other than its
intended purpose.
5. Damage to or faiJure of this product caused by the use of detergents, cJeaners, chemicaJs or utensiJs
other than those recommended in aJJ instructions supplied with the product.
6. Damage to or faiJure of parts or systems resuJting from unauthorized modifications made to this product.
Disclalmer of implied warranties; limitation of remedies
Customer's sole and exdusive remedy under this limited warranty shall be product repair as provided herein.
ImpJied warranties, including warranties of merchantabiJity or fitness for a particuJar purpose, are Jimited to
one year or the shortest period aJJowed by Jaw. Sears shaJJ not be JiabJe for incidentaJ or consequentiaJ
damages. Some states and provinces do not aJJow the exclusion or Jimitation of incidentaJ or consequentiaJ
damages, or Jimitation on the duration of impJied warranties of merchantabiJity or fitness, so these excJusions
or Jimitations may not appJy to you.
This warranty appJies only whiJe this appJiance is used in the United States.
This warranty gives you specific JegaJ rights, and you may aJso have other rights which vary from state to state.
