IMAGING FILTER, RASA 11
# 93617
These emission lines are blocked while allowing as much light to your
camera as possible, thereby providing the brightest and most neutral
color balance possible.
ATTACHING THE FILTER TO RASA 11
1. Carefully remove the optical window by unthreading it from the front
lens assembly of the astrograph. Grab hold of the knurled surface
that rises just above the flat surface of the lens assembly.
2. Install the Light Pollution Imaging Filter by treading it into the front
lens assembly of the astrograph. The two notches on the filter cell
should be positioned outward, away from the corrector.
Do not over-tighten.
The filter should only be
threaded to the point
where it stops turning.

CARE AND CLEANING OF THE FILTER
Dust should normally be removed with a pressured air can, or a camel
hair brush. Avoid using cleaning solution and tissue if possible, as
this will increase the chance of scratching the filter. If the filter must
be cleaned, use optical grade tissue with a small amount of cleaning
solution applied to the tissue. Gently wipe one small area at a time, do
not make circular movements. Throw the tissue away and replace for
each new area.
Keep the filter stored in its plastic case when not in use. If the filter
remains installed on the astrograph, keep the astrograph covered or
keep the camera installed to avoid dust and moisture from accumulating
on the filter.
