•Foranyofthebelowinstallationpatterns,thewallheightontheoutletsideshouldbe47-1/4inch(1200mm)orless.

Precautions on Installation

•

Checkthestrengthandleveloftheinstallationgroundsothattheunitwillnotcauseanyoperatingvibrationornoiseafterinstalled.

•Inaccordancewiththefoundationdrawing,xtheunitsecurelybymeansofthefoundationbolts.(Prepare4setsofM8orM10

foundationbolts,nutsandwasherseachwhichareavailableonthemarket.)

•Itisbesttoscrewinthefoundationboltsuntiltheirendsare3/4inch(20mm)fromthefoundationsurface.

Outdoor Unit Installation

1. Installing outdoor unit

1)

Wheninstallingtheoutdoorunit,referto“PrecautionsforSelectingtheLocation”andthe“OutdoorUnitInstallationDrawings”.

2) Ifdrainworkisnecessary,followtheproceduresbelow.

2. Drain work

1) Usedrainplugfordrainage.

2) Ifthedrainportiscoveredbyamountingbaseoroorsurface,place

additionalfootbasesofatleast1-1/4inch(30mm)inheightundertheoutdoor

unit’sfeet.

3) Incoldareas,donotuseadrainhosewiththeoutdoorunit.

(Otherwise,drainwatermayfreeze,impairingheatingperformance.)
