GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
DANGER
Electrical Shock Hazard
Touching some of the internal components can cause serious personal injury or death.
Do not disassemble this appliance.
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding
reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.
To protect against electrical shock, this appliance is equipped with a cord having a
3-prong grounding-type plug for insertion into a proper grounding-type electrical outlet.
DO NOT alter the plug for use in a 2-prong outlet. If the plug will not fit into an outlet, have
a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
WARNING
Improper use of the grounding plug can result in electrical shock.
Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not
completely understood or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly
grounded.
1. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks of entanglement or tripping
over a longer cord.
2. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
