- Neverpointanyairnozzleorairsprayertowardanotherpersonoranypartofthebody.
- This air compressor is equipped with an Automatic Reset Thermal Protector, and can
automatically restart after the thermal protector resets. Always cut off power source when
thermalprotectorbecomesactivated.
- Wear safety glasses or goggles when operating this product.
- Useonlyinwellventilatedareas.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Pleasereadandfollowtheoperatinginstructionscarefullytoassurethatyouwillenjoythe
convenienceandbestuseoutofyouraircompressor.
1.AlwaysoperatethecompressorATORBELOWTHEMAXIMUMPRESSURERATINGofthe
compressor.RefertoSpecicationssectionofthismanual.
2.AlwaysOBSERVETHEMAXIMUMDUTYCYCLEoftheaircompressor.RefertoSpecications
sectionofthismanualfordetails.Operationsexceedingmaximumpressureratingsandorduty
cycle will result in damage to air compressor.
3.YouraircompressorisequippedwithanAUTOMATICTHERMALOVERLOADPROTECTOR.
Thisfeatureisdesignedtoprotecttheaircompressorfromoverheatingcausingpermanent
damagetoyouraircompressor.Thethermaloverloadprotectorwillautomaticallycutoffpower
toaircompressorshouldinternaloperatingtemperatureoftheaircompressorriseabovesafe
levelsduringexcessiveuse.
4.Shouldatanytimeduringuse,youraircompressorautomaticallyshutsoff,donotattemptto
restartaircompressor.TurnON/OFFswitchofaircompressortotheOFFposition.Theautomatic
thermaloverloadprotectorwillautomaticallyresetwheninternaltemperatureoftheair
compressordropsbelowsafelevel.Afterallowingaircompressortocooloffforabout30minutes,
you can safely resume use of the air compressor by turning on the air compressor.
5.Pleasenotethatyoumayexperienceaslightdelay(about½second)ofthecompressor’smotor
startingwhentheOn/OffSwitchisturnedonwhilecompressorispressurized(whenthereis
pressureinthelinethatthecompressorisconnectedto).Thisisanormaldelayedreaction,nota
CompressorON/OFFswitchmalfunction.
6.Itisstronglyrecommendedthatyoukeepthevehicle’senginerunningwhileusingtheair
compressortopreventdischargeofyourvehicle’sbattery.
7.ONLYOPERATETHEAIRCOMPRESSORINWELLVENTILATEDAREAS.
Compressorperformanceisenhancedwhenoperatingcompressorwithvehicleenginerunning.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS(cont’d):
IMPORTANT:Enginemustberunningwhileusingthiscompressor.
Beforeattachingaircompressor’spowercordtopowersource,checktomakesurethatthe
ON/OFFswitchofyourcompressorisintheOFFposition.AttachthePositivebatteryclamp(Red)
tothePositiveterminalofthebatteryandtheNegativebatteryclamp(Black)totheNegativeterminal
of the battery.
CAUTION:YourPortableAirCompressorisMoistureandDustResistant,butNOTWATERORDUST
PROOF.Neverplacecompressorinsoftsandwhilerunningthecompressor.Vibrationfromthe
compressor will cause the compressor to settle into soft sand, resulting in compressor drawing in
foreignparticles.Neverexposecompressortowaterwhilerunningthecompressor.
This air compressor comes with ¼” quick connect stud. Your Inline Deator comes with
extension coil hose with ¼” quick coupler. Simply attach this multifunction extension coil hose
to the ¼” quick connect stud and you are ready to inate tires. The Inline Inator/Deator
Hose can be used for both Airing Up and Airing Down. Please familiarize yourself with the
following different functions of this versatile air tool:
TIRE INFLATION:
1. Attach quick connect coupler to air compressor.
2.Pushthetirechuck,withtheleverintheuprightposition,downoverthetirevalvestemandthen
pushtheleverdowntothehorizontalpositiontolockinplace.
3.ChecktomakesuretheDeatorCollarLockisdisengaged.
4.Turncompressorswitchontobeginination.
When desired pressure is reached, turn compressor off.
CAUTION:Toavoidoverination,neverexceedrecommendedpressureonarticlestobeinated.
Burstingcancauseseriousinjury.
HANDS-FREE CONTINUOUS DEFLATION:
1.Pushthetirechuck,withtheleverintheuprightposition,downoverthetirevalvestemandthen
pushtheleverdowntothehorizontalpositiontolockinplace.
2.PushDeatorCollartowardtirevalvestemandturnDeatorCollarclockwisetoengagelock.
3.Whendesiredpressureisreached,turnDeatorCollarcounterclockwisetodisengagelock.
IMPORTANT:Makesurecompressorsitsuprightwhileoperatingcompressor.Donotoperate
compressorinanyotherposition.Avoidtuggingatcompressortomoveit.Instead,move
compressortothesamesideofvehicleastiresthatarebeingairedup.
AlwaysmakesurethePortableCompressor’s8ft.powercordisuncoiledandfullyextended
whenusingyouraircompressortoavoidoverheatingthepowercord.
INTERMITTENT DEFLATION:
1.Theintermittentdeationfunctionoffersfastdownwardpressureadjustments.
2.Withtirechuckattachedtotirevalvestem,pushDeatorCollartowardtirevalvestem
to decrease tire pressure.
3.ReleaseDeatorCollartohaltdeation.
INLINE PRESSURE GAUGE:
1.The2-inchInlinePressureGaugeprovidesconvenienttirepressuremonitoringwhenairingupor
down. This eliminates switching back and forth between a tire chuck and a tire pressure gauge.
2.Pleasenotethatduringinationanddeation,duetoairvelocity,pressuregaugecannot
provideaccuratepressurereadings.Momentarilyhaltinationordeationtoobtainaccurate
pressure readings.

4.Re-inatetiresbeforehighspeedtravelingontoroadways.
5.Useheat-resistant,minimum200PSI-ratedworkingpressureextensionhose.
Donotuseaftermarkethoseswithlessthan200PSIworkingpressure.
Someaftermarkethosesmaynotbesuitableforusewiththisaircompressorduetoheatand
pressure typically generated by this type of air compressors.
6.Theuseofaclose-endedtirechuckwillcauseexcessivepressurebuildupiftirechuckisnot
attachedtotirevalvestemwhileaircompressorisinoperation.
IMPORTANT:AlwaysuseanOpen-Endedtirechucksuchasthetirechuckequippedonthe
Deator/InatorCoilHosefortireinationwhenusingacompressorwithoutanairtank.
CAUTION:TheextensionhoseandttingsconnectedextensionhosewillbecomeveryHOTduring
andafteruse.Ifnecessary,wearheatresistantglovestoremovehosefromthecompressorquick
connect stud.
MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS:
Youraircompressorisequippedwithpermanentlylubricated,maintenance-freemotor.Nevertry
tolubricatethecompressor.Regularlycleandustanddirtfromcompressorcoolingnsandmotor
