Head Position
The tops of your child’s
ears should never be
above the top of the
booster seat’s headrest.
Shoulder Belt Position
The shoulder belt should lay
snugly across the center of
your child’s shoulder and
across their chest.
Lap Belt Position
The lap belt should
lay snugly across your
child’s hips; not on their
stomach.

Position Shoulder Belt on Child
Thread the shoulder belt through the belt-positioning guide in
the headrest.
Pull the shoulder belt up to tighten so that it lies snugly across
the center of your child’s shoulder and across their chest.
Check periodically to
make sure your child
has not moved out of
position and loosened
the shoulder belt.
Keep the booster
seat securely
belted even when
unoccupied.
